Cygnett CY-A-GT User manual

The package includes a speaker, remote control, power adaptor, audio cable
and nano adaptor.

FUNCTION TIME
If the plug or the power supply cord needs to be replaced, ensure that the
replacement complies with the manufacturers recommendation.
To prevent electric shock, insert the plug fully into the wall socket.
Do not attempt to repair the unit by yourself. It should be done by a qualified
service technician.
To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this appliance to rain
or moisture. Any servicing should be done by qualified personnel only. The
audio system should be located 0.5 meters from the TV set.

!When disconnecting the DC power cord, disconnect the power source. Do not
pull the cord by itself.
!Never handle the DC power plug with wet hands as this could cause an
electric shock.
!The audio system should be located 1.5 metres from your TV set.

Unpacking And Installation
Unpack your unit carefully. We recommend that you save the carton and packing
materials in case you ever need to store your unit. To avoid damage, never place
the unit near radiators, in front of heating vents, in direct sun light or near
water.

Step 1. Press door to open the docking station. nsert the docking adaptor
before inserting your iPod.
• Plug one end of the video cable to "Video out" of GrooveTube and plug the
other end into the TV or monitor. Set " TV OUT " to ON in the video settings of
iPod before connecting with TV.
!Remove both battery covers at the bottom of the speaker. Place 8 in total
size C 1.5V batteries into the speaker as an alternative power source.
!If sound distorts when using batteries to power the unit, turn down the
volume as battery power may not be enough for high volume levels.
• Plug one end of the video cable to "Earphone" of GrooveTube and plug the
other end into the earphone, satellite speakers, subwoofer etc.
• Plug one end of the audio cable to "AUX" of GrooveTube and plug the other
end into the MP3 player, CD player, laptop etc.
Step 2. Place your iPod into the docking station. Step 3. Plug the AC power cord into the jack labelled "DC IN 18V", insert the
adaptor into a wall outlet, then press the power button on the top of the
speaker .
