1. INTRODUCTION
With eight HDMI outputs and capable of distributing 3D content the
HDMI 1 by 8 splitter is a forward looking device that helps you handle
futuristic technology today.
Transfer 3D content, Deep Color (10-bit and 12-bit) video and new
lossless compressed (Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD
Master Audio) digital audio, this device does not only handle splitting
and distributing but it also amplies and equalizes the signals to
provide high-performance input/output of audio and video.
Further, this device allows users to cascade up to 4 layers for extending
and distributing the 1080p/8-bit signal without loss of quality or delay.

4. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Input source with HDMI/DVI connector and output to up to 8
HDMI displays.

5. FEATURES
•HDMI v1.3, HDCP 1.1 and DVI 1.0 compliant receiver.
•Deep Color video up to 12-bits, 1080p@24/60 Hz.
•Allows one HDMI source to simultaneously output to up to
eight HDMI displays.
•HDCP keysets allows each output to work independently
when connected to an HDMI display.
•Transmits an HDMI source to eight outputs without any
signal loss.
•Supports DVI source/display by using an optional HDMI/DVI
adaptor cable.
•Supports LPCM 7.1CH, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and
DTS-HD Master Audio transmission (32~192 KHzsampling
rate).
•Supports a wide range of PC and HDTV resolutions from VGA
to UXGA and 480i to 1080p.
•HDMI cable distance tested to 15 m with 1080p/8-bit
resolution, and 10 m with 1080p/12-bit resolution.

6. OPERATION CONTROLS AND FUNCTIONS
6.1 Front Panel

HDMI equipped displays connected to these slots will display the
same content that is input from the HDMI IN slot.
NOTE
A. This system was tested with 24AWG cables, the performance of this
system may be different if using cables of a different specication.
B. Cable distance tested with a Playstation 3 and 40″ Samsung LED
12-bit LCD TV (Model UA40B700).
C. Figures provided in this manual are for reference only, actual
performance may depend on the source and display being used
along with the specication of the cable used.
2SYNC
The LED will turn yellow when the input signal is detected.
3HDMI IN
Connects to the source device such as a DVD or Blu-ray player.
4Power LED
The green LED will illuminate when the power supply is connected
to the unit and plugged into the AC wall outlet.

HDMI equipped displays connected to these slots will display the
same content that is input from the HDMI IN slot.
3SYS Reset ON/OFF
This switch allows user to perform a system reset. The default setting
is OFF, leave as is when in normal use. When switched ON, the unit
will perform a system reset every 8~10 minutes, in order to perform
this function the displays must have CEC support. When performed
successfully, the unit will automatically switch the displays to the
HDMI 1 input.
NOTE: For the system reset function to work will not affect displays
that are not CEC compatible.
4EDID Control switch
This EDID control switch determines if you are going to use the
EDID from the display attached to output 1 or use an onboard
EDID. When TV is selected, the EDID will attach to output 1 and
will accept a 3D signal input to display on the 3D TV. When STD is
selected, the EDID will become onboard EDID. The factory default
setting is TV mode.
5Power
Plug the 5 V DC power supply into the unit and connect the
adaptor to AC wall outlet.
