Our FCV series are designed for pendulum type which changes the revolution of power source (motor
or engine) to the vibration of 3 to 4 times more than the number of the revolution of power source. The
power source can be used at low speed of about 3000 R.P.M.
Our FCV series are designed to be set with FCVE electric motor and FCVD gasoline engine. Please
pay your attention to the revolution of engine not to exceed 3,000 RPM to avoid the trouble of vibrator.
1. TECHNICAL DATE
2. OPERATION
A. In order to make fully connected to drive unit, please stretch the flexible hose and let the hex-key
or claw come out enough.
B. Connection & disconnection of flexible shaft and power source.
It can be easily connected and disconnected by turning the coupling of power source to the right
direction.
Please pay your more attention not to touch the soil and sand which cause the trouble of smooth
connection and disconnection to the connecting part.
C. Starting
When the vibrator does not generate vibration properly despite operation of power source, please tap
the cap lightly. Make sure to run the vibrator for at least 30 seconds in idle (no load) condition before
concrete working.
Then proper vibration can be achieved.
D. Do not speed up engine R.P.M. suddenly during idle running and working. It may cause a severe
damage to the Flexible Shaft and Hose.
Cautions during operation
A. Vibrator Head
Our FCV series are designed to generate vibration by the repulsive movement of rotary shaft inside of
head.
When oil leakage happens inside of head, the rotary shaft will not make repulsive movement
generating vibration.
When filth, mortar, dust, dirt, and so on, adhere to inside of head, the similar trouble may be caused.
Please pay attention not to allow the oil to enter the head.
B. Flexible Hose
Please pay attention not to bend flexible hose severely. Long time operation under the severely bent
condition will shorten the life time of flexible hose.
If the heavy weight is dropped on the hose or the car runs over the hose, the spiral tube inside hose
will be damaged and even new one can not be operated.
Maintenance
The following maintenance should be performed periodically.
a. Drive Unit
The vibrator motor should be cleaned outside to keep well heat well radiation at the next operation.
If damped, the motor should be removed and baked.
b. Flexible Shaft and Hose
Please wipe off old grease with clean tissue or cloth and put new one at every 100 hours operation.
c. Vibrator Head
Remove flexible hose joint (both are left-hand thread).
Take out the rolling cone, bearing and oil seal, by knocking the outside of the rolling cone with a
wooden or rubber hammer.
Remove flexible shaft coupler (right-hand thread).
