• Never open, manipulate or change the garden socket. Such interventions mean danger to life from
electric shock and are prohibited for approval reasons (CE).
• Unplug the garden socket from the power source before moving it. Failure to comply may result in
electric shock. The garden socket is only voltage-free when the plug is pulled out.
• Compare the information on the nameplate with the mains voltage. Convince yourself
that the existing mains voltage corresponds to the information on the nameplate. Failure to observe
this can lead to excessive heat generation.
• Take the garden socket out of operation in the event of malfunctions and defects / damage.
Defects can occur as a result of blows, bumps or a fall from a small height. Have the garden socket
checked and, if necessary, repaired before you use it again.
Failure to comply creates the risk of electric shock.
• Never immerse the garden socket in water. The garden socket is only protected against moisture
and splash water.
• Only connect the garden socket to an earthed socket with an upstream fault current (Fl) switch
(max. 30 mA).
• Only use devices with a splash-proof plug (IP44).
Otherwise there is no protective effect.
• Position the garden socket vertically in solid ground. Use them only in areas where there is no
water retention. Only set up the garden socket at a minimum distance of 0.5 m from ponds, streams,
etc. Live parts must not fall into the water.
• Check the garden socket before using it again after it has fallen over.
There must be no water in the socket.
• Do not use the product in a potentially explosive (non-Ex-protected) environment in which there
are flammable liquids, gases or dusts. This product is not approved for this environment.
• Never pull the plug with the power cord out of the socket. Protect the power cord from oil, sharp
edges and high temperatures. Failure to comply can result in electric shock
• When connecting devices, please ensure that the rated current of the garden socket is not excee
ded. If this is not observed, there is a risk of fire due to overheating.
• Use an extension cable approved for outdoor use for additional extensions. This will reduce the
risk of electric shock.
