air (optional) and one for the flue outlet (required).
Vent pipe must be either 2" or 3" in diameter, depending upon
furnace input, number of elbows, length of run and installation (1
or 2 pipes). The optional Combustion Air Pipe is dependent on
installation/coderequirementsandmustbe2"or3"diameterPVC.
4Minimum Circuit Ampacity = (1.25 x Circulator Blower Amps) + ID
Blower amps. Wire size should be determined in accordance with
National Electric Codes. Extensive wire runs will require larger
wire sizes.
5Maximum Overcurrent Protection Device refers to maximum
recommended fuse or circuit breaker size. May use fuses or
HACR-type circuit breakers of the same size as noted.
Notes
•All furnaces are manufactured for use on 115 VAC, 60 Hz,
single-phase electrical supply.
•Gas Service Connection 1/2" FPT
•Important: Size fuses and wires properly and make electrical
connections in accordance with the National Electrical Code and/
or all existing local codes.
•For bottom return: Failure to unfold flanges may reduce airflow
by up to 18%. This could result in performance and noise is-
sues.
• For servicing or cleaning, a 24" front clearance is required. Unit
connections (electrical, flue and drain) may necessitate greater
clearances than minimum clearances listed above. In all cases,
accessibility clearance must take precedence over clearances
from the enclosure where accessibility clearances are greater.

NOTE: Discharge body’s static electricity before touching
unit.Anelectrostaticdischargecanadverselyaffectelectrical
components.
Usethe followingprecautions duringfurnace installationand
servicingto protecttheintegrated controlmodulefrom dam-
age. By putting the furnace, the control, and the person at
thesameelectrostaticpotential,these steps will help avoid
exposingtheintegratedcontrolmodule to electrostatic dis-
charge. This procedure is applicable to both installed and
uninstalled(ungrounded) furnaces.
1. Disconnect all power to the furnace. Do not touch the
integrated control module or any wire connected to the
control prior to discharging your body’s electrostatic
chargetoground.
2. Firmly touch a clean, unpainted, metal surface of the
furnace near the control. Any tools held in a person’s
handduringgrounding willbedischarged.
3. Service integrated control module or connecting wiring
following the discharge process in Step 2. Use caution
nottorechargeyourbodywith static electricity; (i.e., do
notmoveorshuffleyourfeet,donottouchungrounded
objects,etc.). Ifyoucome incontactwithanungrounded
object,repeatStep 2 before touching control orwires.
4. Dischargeany staticelectricityfrom yourbodyto ground
beforeremovinga newcontrolfrom itscontainer.Follow
Steps 1 through 3 if installing the control on a furnace.
Returnany oldornewcontrols totheircontainers before
touchinganyungrounded object.

This product is designed for use as a residential home gas
furnace.Itisnotdesigned orcertifiedforuseinmobilehome,
trailer, orrecreationalvehicleapplications.
This furnace can be used in the following non-industrial
commercial applications: Schools, Office buildings, Churches,
Retail stores, Nursing homes, Hotels/motels, Common or
office areas. In such applications, the furnace must be installed
with the installation instructions.

andareappropriate for usewithnaturalor propane gas.
NOTE: If using propane gas, a propane conversion kit is
required.

Non-directvent (singlepipe)centralforcedairfurnace
in which combustion air is taken from the installation

allcombustionairsupplieddirectly tothefurnaceburn-
ers through a special air intake system outlined in
this manual and the installation instructions.
