Installation on a PC
The drive has been pre-formatted in FAT32, you do not
need to prepare anything else and can use it immediately
• Turn on your Computer and start Windows
• Connect “The Mobile Library”
• Let Windows congure itself automatically
• Open “My Computer” to see your external hard drive
If the system doesn’t recognize the drive after connecting
the interface cable, connect the device before booting your
Operating System.
Install PC Clone EX Lite software to set up One-Touch
Back-Up.
Removal Procedure
For the safe removal of your drive and to assure that no
data is lost, always follow the correct unplug procedure.
Otherwise an error message will appear.
• Click on the “Safely remove hardware” system tray icon.
Installation on a Macintosh
The drive has been pre-formatted in FAT32, you do not
need to prepare anything else and can use it immediately
• Turn on your computer and start Mac OS
• Connect “The Mobile Library”
Removal Procedure
• Drag the external hard drive icon into the trash bin
• Unplug your device
Note: One-Touch Back-Up is not Mac-compatible.
Tips on How to Use Your Drive:
• Do not expose the product to water or humid conditions
• Do not cover the enclosure and be sure to leave enough
room around it for the drive to cool down
• Only one computer at the time can access the drive
• For the safe removal of your drive and to assure that no
data is lost, always follow the Removal Procedure
• Choose your external hard drive and conrm to remove it
• Unplug your device when Windows says it’s safe to
remove the drive.
