The danita CB transceiver is a high quality product, designed
for long lasting and dependable service. To get full benefit from
it, please follow the instructions in this manual carefully.

Note
danita 2000 Multi is tested in accordance with Directive
1999/5/EC.
In general it is legal to use any of danita models in all of the
countries in EU, as long as the danita 2000 Multi is only used
according to the rules of the individual country. For example
in CH, DK, NO, SE and SK the FM modulation is the only one
to be used. (Select 06 in country selector)
If you are in doubt, check with your dealer.
danita 2000 Multi must not be used in ways that can hurt you
or others. For your safety and protection do not use danita
2000 Multi in any ways other than described in this manual.

If your transceiver does not work properly, first check tha
t
all controls are set as instructed in the manual. If this does
not change the situation, do not attempt to fix the transceive
r
yourself, but take the unit to your dealer. Please enclose a
short description of the fault.
To clean the transceiver just use a damp cloth.
Important
!
The device is not to be discarded through regular waste
disposal. Instead please dispose of it in a responsible
manner, e.g. at a recycling centre.
Service
How To Use danita 2000 Multi
Ensure the connection of a suitable antenna and make
sure power is on. Set the volume control to about medium
and turn the squelch control until the noise just disappear.
Hold the microphones about 2” from your mouth. Press the
microphones transmit button, and speak clearly. Release
transmit button, and listen to the other part.
Country Selection
When danita 2000Multi is turned on, the display flash with
two digit. 06 may be used in all countries. To change coun-
try selection, press UP knob for 3 second, when danita
2000Multi is turned ON. Select with UP/DN knobs. Keep
DN knob pressed for 3 second for store new country.
Choose 06 for the following countries: AT, CH, CZ, DE,
DK, GB, HU, IS, LT, LU, LV, NO, PT, SE, SI, SK and SR.
Choose 05 for these countries: BE, EE, ES, FI, FR, GR,
IE and NL.

1. MICROPHONE CONNECTOR
Insert the microphone plug here.
2. ON/OFF SWITCH AND VOLUME CONTROL
The ON/OFF switch and volume control are combined. Turn the knob
clockwise to turn the radio on and to increase the volume.
3. SQUELCH
The squelch is used to eliminate unwanted noise. The squelch should
be adjusted clockwise to the point where the noise in the loudspeaker
just disappears.
4+5. CHANNEL SELECTOR
The desired channel is selected by the UP/DN knobs.
6. DISPLAY
Show the channel. When turn up, it show the country select digit.
7+8. AM/FM.
If country selection has AM/FM modulation, this button “7” is used
for choosing modulation. FM LED “8” light up at FM.
9+10 DX/LO.
Lower the receiver signal by app. 20dB when “10” light up.
11 TX/RX LED
LED light green at receiving and red at transmitting.
Switch when press the microphones transmit button.

12. ANTENNA
UHF / PL connector. Connect an antenna specially designed for 27 MHz
here. The antenna and cable should be of 50 Ohm’s impedance.
13. EXT.
An external loudspeaker of 8 Ohm’s impedance can be connected to this
3.5 mm jack.
When the plug is connected, the build in speaker is automatically
disconnected.
14. 13.8V DC
12-15 Volt DC should be connected to negative (black cable) and positive
(red cable).

danita 2000 Multi er afprøvet efter Directive 1999/5/EC og
må derfor anvendes i de fleste europæiske lande. I nogle lande
kræves tilladelse til at eje og anvende dette apparat f.eks i Bel-
gien. Generelt er det lovligt at benytte alle modeller i alle EU
lande, dog må danita 2000 Multi kun bruges i henhold til det
enkelte lands regler. F.eks. må der i CH, DK, NO, SE og SK
kun bruges FM modulation. (Vælg 06 land i landevalg)
danita 2000 Multi må på INGEN måde anvendes således at du
selv eller andre kan komme til skade.

Fungerer apparatet ikke rigtigt, kontrollér da først, om alle
indstillinger er udført rigtigt ifølge vejledningen. Fungerer
apparatet fortsat ikke, må man under ingen omstændighed-
er forsøge at reparere apparatet selv. Indlever det til den
forhandler, hvor apparatet er købt med en kort beskrivelse
af fejlen.
Vigtigt!
Apparatet må ikke smides væk i den daglige renovation,
men skal bortskaffes på en forsvarlig måde. F.eks. på en
genbrugsstation.
Service
Sådan anvender du danita 2000 Multi
Kontroller at antenne og strømkabler er tilsluttet korrekt.
Drej volumenkontrollen til midterstilling og stil squelchen
sådan at støjen netop forsvinder. Hold mikrofonen 5-10 cm
fra munden. Tryk på mikrofonens sendertast, og kald op til
en anden station. Slip derefter sendetasten og stil volumen
til ønsket lydstyrke når den anden station svarer.
Landevalg
Når apparatet tændes blinker displayet med et 2 cifret tal.
06 må benyttes i alle lande. For at ændre landevalg, hold
UP knappen inde, i ca. 3 sek., når apparatet tændes. Brug
UP/DN knapperne for at ændre landevalg. Se i danita 2000
Country selection. Hold DN knappen inde i 3 sek. for at
gemme valget
Vælg 06 for følgende lande: AT, CH, CZ, DE, DK, GB,
HU, IS, LT, LU, LV, NO, PT, SE, SI, SK og SR.
Vælg 05 for følgende lande: BE, EE, ES, FI, FR, GR,
IE og NL. For DE, GB, IT og PL se Country selection.

Frontbetjening
1. MIKROFONTILSLUTNING
Mikrofonstik isættes her.
2. STRØMAFBRYDER OG VOLUMENKONTROL
Kombineret ON/OFF og lydstyrke regulering. Når knappen drejes
med uret tændes apparatet, derefter øges lydstyrken.
3. SQUELCH
Squelchknappen bruges til at fjerne baggrundsstøjen med. Justér til
støjen netop forsvinder.
4+5. KANALVÆLGER
Tryk UP/DN for kanal valg.
6. DISPLAY
Viser kanalen. Ved opstart vises landevalg cifrene.
7+8. AM/FM.
Skift mellem FM og AM modulation. FM LED “8” lyser ved FM.
(Virker ikke ved kun FM landevalg)
9+10 DX/LO.
Dæmper modtager signalet med ca. 20dB når LO LED “10” lyser.
11 TX/RX
LED lyser grøn ved modtagelse og rød ved sending.
Skifter ved tast på mikrofonen.

Bagsiden af apparatet.
12. ANTENNETILSLUTNING
PL259 – UHF konnektor. Tilslut en 27 MHz antenne her. Send aldrig før en
korrekt antenne er monteret. Husk kun at benytte 50 ohm’s antennekabel.
13. EXT.
En ekstern højttaler med impedansen 8 ohm kan tilsluttes her med et
3,5 mm jack stik.
Når en ekstern højttaler tilsluttes, afbrydes den indbyggede højttaler
automatisk.
14. 13.8V DC
12-15 Volt DC. Tilslut den sorte ledning til minus (stel) og den røde ledning
til plus (+).
