Wahl. Sie haben ein Produkt erworben, das über viele Jahre einen Beitrag zur Verbesserung Ihrer Lebensqualität leisten
kann.
Bevor Sie dieses Gerät einsetzen, lesen Sie bitte sorgfältig die Gebrauchsanweisung.
Wirkungsweise der Lichttherapie
Leuchtmittel mit einer speziellen Wellenlänge können die positive Wirkung über die Bestrahlung der Haut hervorrufen.
Das blaue Licht mit einer Wellenlänge von 400 bis 450 nm kann die Sauerstoffbildung in den verstopften Hautporen anre-
gen. Es kann zu einem Absterben des für die Entstehung der Akne oftmals verantwortlichen Propioni Bakteriums führen
und kann somit reinigend wirken. Das rote Licht mit einer Wellenlänge von 580 bis 630 nm kann das Gewebe entspannen
und kann die Durchblutung fördern. Entzündungen können schneller abklingen, und die Haut kann sich regenerieren.
Anwendung der DAVITA®-Lichttherapiegeräte
Die Lichttherapiegeräte können erfolgreich zur Anwendung bei Akne vulgaris eingesetzt werden.
Bevor das Lichttherapiegerät verwendet wird
Bitte prüfen Sie vor Anwendung den ordnungsgemäßen Zustand des Gerätes und die Funktionssicherheit. Überprüfen
Sie, ob das Gerät sicher funktioniert und es sich in einwandfreien Zustand befindet, bevor Sie es einsetzen. Das Lichtthe-
rapiegerät sollte so aufgestellt werden, dass eine Trennung vom Netzanschluss leicht möglich ist.
Das Lichttherapiegerät darf nur in trockenen, geschlossenen und nicht explosionsgefährdeten Räumen betrieben wer-
den. Das Gerät ist nicht geeignet für den Einsatz in der Nähe von entflammbaren anästhetischen Mischungen mit
Luft oder mit Sauerstoff oder Lachgas. Das Gerät sollte frei stehen und nicht direkt der Sonne ausgesetzt werden.
Vor Anwendung des Gerätes sollten die betroffenen Hautpartien des Anwenders mit einer pH-neutralen Seife gereinigt
und danach sorgfältig abgetrocknet werden. Wenn das Lichttherapiegerät angewendet wird, sollten sich keine Rückstände
von Kosmetika/Sonnencreme auf der Haut des Anwenders befinden.
Durchführung der Lichttherapie
Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine ebene Fläche und stecken Sie den Stecker in eine Steckdose. Das Lichttherapiegerät
CleanLite CL 70 hat auf der Rückseite eine Vorrichtung zum Ausklappen, damit das Gerät sicher stehen kann. Nehmen
Sie in einem Abstand von ca. 30 cm vor dem Gerät Platz. Die Anwendungsdauer beträgt bei diesem Abstand für die CL
70 ca. 30 Minuten und für die CL 110 ca. 30 Minuten.
Wenn Sie den Wippschalter auf „Ein“ stellen, beginnt das Gerät zu leuchten. Nach Ablauf der Anwendungsdauer muss
das Gerät manuell ausgeschaltet werden. Sie können während der Anwendung z.B. lesen, fernsehen oder anderen Akti-
vitäten nachgehen. Ein ununterbrochenes Starren in die Leuchte sollte vermieden werden. Da dieses Gerät ein ungefähr-
liches Licht abgibt, ist es nicht erforderlich für diese Anwendung eine Schutzbrille aufzusetzen. Möchten Sie nicht in ein
farbiges Licht schauen, besteht die Möglichkeit, eine Schutzbrille während der Anwendung zu tragen. Wenn Sie das Licht-
therapiegerät nach der Anwendung verpacken möchten, warten Sie mindestens 15 Minuten, damit es sich abkühlen kann.
Wichtig: Das Lichttherapiegerät darf nur mit den Original-Gehäuseteilen zum Schutz gegen UV-Strahlen betrieben werden.
Befestigung der Lichttherapiegeräte an der Wand
Die Lichttherapiegeräte können auch an der Wand befestigt werden.

Auf der Rückseite im oberen Bereich dieser Lichttherapiegeräte befindet sich in der Mitte unterhalb der Lüftungsschlitze
eine Öffnung (Siehe Abbildung). An dieser Öffnung können die Geräte mit
Hilfe einer Schraube an der Wand befestigt werden. Je nach Art der Wand
muss jeweils eine geeignete Schraube, evtl. mit Dübel verwendet werden.
So z.B. eine Holzschraube, die in einen Spreizdübel geschraubt wird. Die
Schraube und der Dübel sind nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten.
Der Schraubenkopf darf eine max. Höhe von 6 mm und einen max. Durch
messer von 8 mm nicht überschreiten. Der Abstand von der Wand bis zum
Schraubenkopfende darf max. 8 mm aufweisen. Der Schraubenschaft darf
einen maximalen Durchmesser von 4 mm haben. Die Belastung der Befes-
tigungsschraube sowie die Beschaffenheit der Wand, an die das Gerät aufgehängt werden soll, muss eine Tragkraft von
mindestens 3 kg haben.
Das Lichttherapiegerät CleanLite CL 70 hat auf der Rückseite eine Vorrichtung zum Ausklappen. Diese muss vor dem
Aufhängen abgeschraubt werden. Dazu sind 4 Schrauben zu entfernen. Anschließend sollten die Schrauben wieder zur
Aufbewahrung eingeschraubt werden.
Bei dem Lichttherapiegerät CleanLite CL 110 muss der Standfuß vor dem Aufhängen abgeschraubt werden. Dazu sind
die rechte und die linke Rändelschraube vom Fuß komplett zu entfernen, so dass der Fuß komplett vom Geräteoberteil
abgezogen werden kann. Anschließend sollten die Schrauben wieder zur Aufbewahrung eingeschraubt werden
Häufigkeit und Zeitpunkt der Anwendung, Nebenwirkungen
Die Behandlung in der Praxis sollte 3 -5mal pro Woche für ca. 20 Minuten bei der CL 110 und ca. 30 Minuten bei der CL
70 erfolgen bis sich das Hautbild verbessert hat. Im Anschluss daran, je nach Bedarf, sobald die Symptome wieder auftre-
ten. Die Anwendung zu Hause kann täglich erfolgen.
Selten und meist nur kurz andauernd können als Nebenwirkungen der Lichttherapie Kopfschmerzen, Übelkeit, Gereiztheit
und Augenbrennen auftreten. Eine absolute Kontraindikation (Gegenanzeigen), d.h. Umstände, die die Anwendung der
Lichttherapie verbieten, bestehen bisher nicht.
Bei allen Formen von Augenerkrankungen ist Vorsicht geboten, und es sollte der Augenarzt vorher aufgesucht werden.
Bei Patienten mit Lithiumbehandlung oder Medikamenten wie z.B. Fluoxetine, Imipramine u.a., die die Sensibilität des
Auges auf Licht erhöhen können, ist zusätzlich eine augenärztliche Überwachung der Lichttherapie erforderlich.
Diese möglichen o.a. Nebenwirkungen/Kontraindikationen können vermieden werden, wenn während der Anwendung
eine Schutzbrille getragen wird. Wenn als Nebenwirkung ein juckender Hautausschlag auftritt, sollte die weitere Behand-
lung nur in Absprache mit dem Dermatologen erfolgen.
Reinigung, Wartung und Entsorgung
Die Geräte benötigen keine besondere Wartung. Der Hersteller verlangt nicht, dass diese präventiven Kontrollen durch
andere Personen vorgenommen werden. Die Geräte benötigen keine Kalibrierung. Das Gerät ist nicht reparierbar und
enthält keine zu wartenden Teile. Es ist nicht erlaubt, Änderungen am Gerät vorzunehmen. Während das Gerät benutzt
wird, ist es nicht erlaubt eine Wartung oder Instandsetzung vorzunehmen. Vor dem Öffnen des Gerätes muss der Stecker
aus der Steckdose gezogen werden. Zum Reinigen der äußeren Gehäuseteile des Gerätes, wird ein mildes Reinigungs-
mittel (wie z.B. Glasreiniger verwendet).
Verpackung: DAVITA® ist dem System „Grüner Punkt“ angeschlossen. Alle Verpackungsteile sind wieder ver-
wertbare Materialien und umweltfreundlich zu entsorgen. Bei den Geräten bestehen das Gehäuse und die vor-
dere Abdeckung aus Kunststoff. Leuchtstofflampen sowie Geräte, die mit dem gekreuzten Mülltonnen-symbol
gekennzeichnet sind, dürfen nicht über den Hausmüll entsorgt werden.
Die elektrischen und elektronischen Komponenten müssen separat entsorgt werden. Informieren Sie sich bitte bei Ihrer
Kommune über die Möglichkeit der richtigen Entsorgung. Wenn Elektrogeräte in Deponien oder Halden entsorgt werden,
können gefährliche Stoffe in das Grundwasser und die Nahrungskette gelangen und Gesundheit und Wohlbefinden schä-
digen. Für die Rücknahme und Entsorgung von Batterien ist das Batteriegesetz gültig. Bundesweit gibt es Rücknahme-
stellen. Die Batterien müssen über die grünen Sammelboxen entsorgt werden.

Before you use the instrument, please read carefully this user manual.
Effect of light therapy
Lamps with a specific wavelength can produce a positive effect via the irradiation of the skin.
The blue light with a wavelength of 400 to 450 nm can stimulate the formation of oxygen in the clogged skin pores and
can cause the death of the propioni bacterium which is responsible for acne vulgaris. It can have a cleaning effect. With
the red light which has a wavelength of 580 to 630 nm the tissue can be relaxed and the blood circulation can be
stimulated. Inflammation can fade away faster and the skin can then be able to regenerate.
How to use the DAVITA® light therapy unit
The light therapy boxes can be used for the application against acne vulgaris
Some basic information before using the light therapy units
Before use, kindly check that the instrument is in functional order and that there is no sign of damage. The user must check
that the equipment functions safely and see that it is in proper working condition before being used. Do not position the
equipment so that it is difficult to operate the disconnection device. Phototherapy instruments must only be operated
in dry and closed rooms that are free of any explosion risks. The device is not suitable for use in the presence of flammable
anesthetic mixtures with air or with oxygen or nitrous oxide. The instruments must be standing free and should not be
exposed to sun. Before using the unit the affected parts of the skin should be cleaned with a pH-neutral soap and then
should be carefully dried. If the units are used, there should be no rests of cosmetic/sun cream at the skin of the user.
How to carry out light therapy
Place the unit on a flat surface such as a table and connect the plug with a wall socket.
The light therapy box CleanLite CL 70 has on the back side a fixture for folding, so that the device has a save stand.
Sit down in front of the instrument and keep a distance of approx. 30 cm. The application duration is in this distance for CL
70 approx. 30 minutes an for CL 110 approx. 20 minutes.
Move the tilting switch to „On“ and the device begins to glow. After the application time the switch has to be switched off
manually. During the application you can read, watch TV or carry out any other activities. A constant staring into the light
source must be avoided.
Since this device emits a harmless light, it is not necessary to set up for this application a protection goggle. If you do not
like to look in a colored light, it is possible to wear a protection goggle during the application.
If you want to cover the phototherapy instrument after use allow the instrument to cool down at least 15 minutes.
Important: In order to be protected against UV-rays, the light box must only be operated with its original protective filter in
place.
Fastening of light therapy units on the wall
The light therapy units can be mounted on the wall.

On the back side of the top of these light therapy units there is an opening in the middle below the air vents
(see illustration).
At this opening the units can be fixed on the wall with a screw. Depending
on the type of wall, an appropriate screw must be used, may be with pegs.
E.g. a round head wood screw which is screwed into an expansion anchor.
The screw and the anchor are not included in the scope of delivery.
The screw head must not exceed a max. height of 6 mm and a max. diam
eter of 8 mm. The distance from the wall to the screw head can be max. 8
mm. The screw shaft may have a maximum diameter of 4 mm. The load on
the screw and the condition of the wall, to which the unit has to be mounted must have a capacity of at least 3 kg.
The light therapy unit CleanLite CL 70 has on the back a fixture to swing out. This has to be removed before the fastening.
Therefore 4 screws must be removed completely. Afterwards the screws have to be screwed in for safekeeping.
The base of the light therapy unit CleanLite CL 110 must be unscrewed before the fastening. Therefore the right and the
left thumb screw must be removed completely from the foot. So the foot can be removed completely from the upper part of
the unit. Afterwards the srews have to be screwed in for safekeeping.
Frequency and time of application, side effects
The treatment in the practice should be carried out 3 – 5 times per week for approx. 20 minutes by the BL 110 and approx.
30 minutes by the BL 70 until the skin appearance has improved. Subsequently, as required, as soon as the symptoms
appear again. At home, the treatment can take place daily.
By using phototherapy the following side effects have been observed: Headaches, nausea, irritability and burning of the
eyes can occur rarely for a short period. An absolute contraindication that means circumstances that do not allow the use
of light therapy units is not known so far.
Please take care in case of all types of eye diseases and the eye specialist should be consulted before. In case of patients
being under treatment with lithium or medicine for example Fluoxetine, Imipramine et al., which increase the sensibility of
the eyes on light a supervision of the light therapy by an eye specialist could be considered.
These possible side effects / contraindications listed above can be avoided, if a protection goggle is worn during the appli-
cation. If there is as side effect an itchy skin rash further treatments should be made only in consultation with the derma-
tologist.
Cleaning, maintenance and recycling
The instruments do not need any special maintenance. The manufacturer does not require such preventive inspections
by other persons. The device requires no calibration. The device is not repairable and contains no user serviceable parts.
No modification of this equipment is allowed. If the ME equipment is in use, servicing and maintenance is not allowed. The
mains have to be disconnected, before opening the devices. To clean the outer casing parts of the devices, we recommend
a mild cleaning agent (as used for glass).
Packaging: DAVITA® takes part in the system „Grüner Punkt“ („Green Point“). All packaging parts are made out of
recyclable materials and must be recycled in accordance of the guideless concerning each material (eco-friendly).
The casing and the front of the cover are made of plastic material. Fluorescent lamps as well as instruments
marked with the symbol of a crossed out dustbin may not be disposed via the regular garbage.
The electrical and electronic components must be recycled separately. Please get in touch with your local authority to find
the right way to of disposal. If electrical appliance is disposed of in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into
the groundwater and get into the food chain, damaging your health and well-being. For the return and disposal of batteries
the battery law is valid. National wide there are re-sampling points. The batteries must be thrown into the green collection
boxes.

L’effets de la luminothérapie
Un spectre lumineux avec une longueur d´onde spécifique permet de générer, à travers l´irradiation, un effet très positif sur
la peau. La lumière bleue, d´une longueur d´onde de 400 à 450nm, stimule la production d´oxygène au sein des pores
obstrués. Ceci conduit à l´élimination de la bactérie Propiono Bakteriums, souvent responsable de l´acné, et agit comme
un agent nettoyant. La lumière rouge, d´une longueur d´onde de 580 à 630nm, détend les tissus et favorise la circualtion
sanguine. L´inflammation se résorbe ainsi plus rapidement, et la peau peut se régénérer.
Fonction de l’appareil de luminothérapie DAVITA®
Les appareils de luminothérapie peuvent être utilisés avec succès pour le application contre de l´acné vulgaris.
Avant la mise en service
Avant l’utilisation de l’appareil, nous vous prions de bien vouloir vérifier que son état soit bien réglementaire et vous assurer
de sa sécurité de fonctionnement. Veuillez svp vérifier que l’appareil fonctionne en toute sécurité et que son état soit im-
peccable avant de l’utiliser. L’appareil de luminothérapie est à utiliser de telle sorte à ce que son branchement puisse être
retiré facilement de l’alimentation sur secteur.
L’appareil de luminothérapie ne peut être utilisé que dans des endroits secs, fermés et non dangereux. L’appareil n’est
pas adapté à une utilisation à proximité de mélanges inflammables et anésthésiques avec l’air, de l’oxygène ou du pro-
toxyde d’azote. L’appareil doit être libre d’accès et ne pas être placé directement au soleil.
Traitement par luminothérapie
Placez l’appareil sur une surface plane et branchez la fiche à la prise. L’appareil de luminothérapie BeautyLite BL 70 est
muni d’un dispositif dépliant situé au dos, permettant de se tenir debout en toute sécurité. Prenez place à env. 30 cm à
distance de l’appareil. A cette distance, la durée de traitement s’élève à env. 20 minutes pour l’appareil CL 110 et 30
minutes pour l’appareil CL 70.
En positionnant le levier bistable sur „on“, l’appareil s’illumine. Une fois le temps de traitement écoulé, éteignez l’appareil
manuellement. Durant la phase d’utilisation, vous pouvez par ex. lire, regarder la télévision ou réaliser d’autres activités.
Veuillez svp éviter de fixer continuellement la lampe. Comme cet appareil émet une lumière innoffensive, il n’est pas né-
cessaire de porter des lunettes de protection lors de son utilisation. Si vous ne souhaitez pas regarder vers une lumière
rouge, il est possible de porter des lunettes de protection lors de l’utilisation de l’appareil. Une fois son utilisation terminée,
si vous souhaitez remballer l’appareil de luminothérapie, veuillez svp attendre minimum 15 minutes afin qu’il refroidisse.
Important: L’appareil de luminothérapie ne doit être utilisé qu’avec les pièces d’origine pour la protection contre
les rayons UV.
Fixation murale de l’appareil de luminothérapie
Les appareils de luminothérapie peuvent être également fixés au mur.
Au dos de l’appareil, dans la partie supérieure se trouve au centre en-dessous de la fente d’aération une ouverture (cf.
illustration). C’est par cette ouverture qu’il est possible de visser ces appareils
au mur. Selon la composition du mur, il est nécessaire d’utiliser une vis adapt
ée, voire éventuellement une cheville. Comme par ex. une vis à bois à visser
dans une cheville à expansion. La vis et la cheville ne sont pas fournies avec l
’appareil.
La tête de vis ne doit pas dépasser 6mm de hauteur et 8mm de diamètre. La
distance du mur jusqu’à l’extrêmité de la tête de vis ne doit pas dépasser 8mm.
La tige de vis ne doit pas avoir un diamètre supérieur à 4mm. La charge de la
vis de fixation ainsi que la structure du mur, sur lequel l’appareil est à fixer,
doivent avoir une capacité de charge d’au minimum 3kg.

L’appareil de luminothérapie CleanLite CL 70 dispose au dos d’un dispositif dépliant. Celui-ci est à dévisser avant la
fixation au mur de l’appareil. Pour cela, veuillez svp retirer les 4 vis, puis les revisser après fixation murale de l’appareil afin
de les conserver.
Quant à l’appareil de luminothérapie CleanLite CL 110, il est nécessaire de dévisser le pied avant la fixation murale.
Pour cela, veuillez svp dévisser complètement les vis moletées à droite et à gauche du pied afin de retirer complètement
ce dernier de la partie supérieur de l’appareil. Puis, revissez ces vis après fixation murale de l’appareil afin de les conserver.
Fréquence et durée de application, effets secondaires
Dans la pratique, le traitement devrait être effectué 3 à 5 fois par semaine pour une durée respectivement de 20 minutes
avec le CL 110 et 30 minutes avec le CL 70, jusqu’à ce que l’aspect de la peau s’améliore. Aussitôt après, selon les
besoins, vous pouvez prolonger le traitement dès que les symptômes réapparaissent. L’utilisation à domicile de ces appa-
reils peut s’effectuer quotidiennement.
Dans de rares cas et souvent pour de courtes durées, des effets secondaires liés à la luminothérapie ont été constatés
comme des maux de tête, des nausées, de l’irritabilité et des sensations de brûlures oculaires. Il n’y a pas de contre-
indication dans l’absolu connus à ce jour, c’est-à-dire des circonstances interdisant le traitement par luminothérapie.
Nous vous prions toutefois de bien vouloir accorder une attention particulière dans toutes les formes de maladies
oculaires; en outre, nous vous recommandons de consulter au préalable un oculiste. Pour les patients en cours de
traitement au lithium ou médicamenteux comme entre autres par fluoxetine ou imipramine qui augmentent la sen-
sibilité de l’oeil à la lumière, il est nécessaire en complément d’effectuer une surveillance médicale par un oculiste
du traitement par luminothérapie.
Les effets secondaires/contre-indications ci-dessus peuvent être évités en utilisant des lunettes de protection portées lors
de l’utilisation des appareils de luminothérapie. En cas d’apparitions d’éruptions et démangeaisons cutanées en tant qu’ef-
fet secondaire constaté, veuillez svp consulter un dermatologue avant de poursuivre le traitement.
Entretien, maintenance et traitement des déchets
Une maintenance particulière des appareils n'est pas nécessaire. Le fabricant n’exige pas que les contrôles préventifs
soient effectués par des tierces personnes. Les appareils ne nécessitent pas de calibrage. L’appareil n’est pas réparable
et il ne contient pas de pièces sujettes à la maintenance. Il est interdit d’effectuer des modifications sur l’appareil ainsi que
de réaliser des travaux de maintenance ou de dépannage sur l’appareil en cours d’utilisation. La fiche doit être retirée de
la prise avant l’ouverture de l’appareil. Pour le nettoyage de la partie extérieure de l’enveloppe de l’appareil, utilisez svp
des détergeants ménagers usuels doux, comme par ex. un nettoyant vitres.
Emballage: DAVITA® est liée au système "Point Vert". Tous les composants d'emballages sont des matériaux
recyclables et peuvent être traités écologiquement.
Le boîtier et l’enveloppe avant des appareils sont en matière plastique. Les luminaires fluorescents ainsi que les
appareils marqués par un symbole avec le bac d’ordure barré d’une croix ne doivent pas être jetés avec les
ordures ménagères.
Les composants électriques et électroniques doivent être traités séparément. La commune respective pourra vous rensei-
gner sur les possibilités de traitement des déchets en règle.En effet, en jetant les appareils électriques dans des décharges
ou centres de déstockage, des matières dangereuses peuvent être déversées dans la nappe phréatique et atteindre la
chaîne alimentaire, occasionant des dommages pour la santé et le bien-être.
Pour la reprise et le traitement des piles, la loi sur les piles s'applique. Sur tout le territoire, des lieux de reprise sont à votre
disposition. Les piles sont alors à jeter dans des boîtes de collecte vertes.
