Before using your Electric Kettle, please read this manual carefully
and keep it for future reference.

Inside you will find many helpful hints on how to use and maintain your Electric Kettle properly. Just
a little preventation care on your part can save you a great deal of time and money over the life of
your Electric Kettle. You’ll find many answers to common problems in the chart of troubleshooting
tips. If you review the chart of troubleshooting tips first, you may not need to call for service.

General safety instructions
•Before commissioning this device please read the instruction
manual carefully.
•Please keep this instructions, the guaranty certificate, the sales
receipt and, if possible, the carton with the inner packaging.
•The device is intended exclusively for private and not for
commercial use!
•Always remove the plug from the socket whenever the device is
not in use, when attaching accessory parts, cleaning the device or
whenever a disturbance occurs. Switch off the device beforehand.
Pull on the plug, not on the cable.
•In order to protect children from the dangers of electrical
appliances, never leave them unsupervised with the device.
Consequently, when selecting the location for your device, do so in
such a way that children do not have access to the device. Take
care to insure that the cable does not hang down.
•Test the device and cable regularly for damage. If there is damage
of any kind, the device should not be used.
•If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replace by the
manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in
order to avoid a hazard.
•Do not repair the device yourself, but rather consult an authorized
expert.
•Keep the device and the cable away from heat, direct sunlight,
moisture, sharp edges and such like.
•Never use the device unsupervised! Switch off the device
whenever you are not using it, even if this is only for a moment.
•Use only original accessories.
•If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.
•Do not use the device outdoors.

•Under no circumstances must the device be place in water or
other liquid, or come into contact with such. Do not use the device
with wet or moist hands.
•Should the device become moist or wet, remove the mains plug
from the socket immediately. Do not reach into water.
•Use the device only for the intended purpose.
•The kettle is only to be used with the stand provided.
Special safety Instructions for this Machine
•Use only cold water when filling.
•The water level must under the MAX marks.
•Switch the machine off before removing it from the base.
•Always ensure that the lid is tightly closed.
•The base and exterior that the lid is tightly closed.
•The base and exterior of the machine must not become wet.
•When the kettle is separated at the fault condition from the stand,
the thermal cut-out could be reset.
First use of the Machine
Before using the machine for the first time, water should be boiled
twice without any additives.
1. Unwind the lead from the base. Place the machine on a flat
surface.
2. Fill the kettle water. Do not overfill.
3. Place the kettle flush on the base.
4. Electrical connection
−Check whether the electrical voltage that you intend to use is the
same as that of the machine. Details are to be found on the label on
the base.
−Only connect the machine to a properly according to the
requirements of the rating label.

7. Switch the machine to position “1”.

After boiling, the m achine switches o ff autom atically. Disconnecng
the themachine from the mains electricity supply. Do not press up
lid when pouring.
Cleaning
Always remove the plug from the mains supply before cleaning the
machine!
The exterior of the machine should be cleaned, if necessary, with a
slightly damp cloth without additives.
Decalcification
The decalcification intervals depend on the hardness of the water
and frequency of use. Decalcification should be carried out every 3
to 4 months.
If the machine switches off before the water boils, it probably needs
to be decalcification.
Please do not use vinegar but a commercially available
decalcification agent on the basis of citric. Only use the quantities
stated in the instruction.
This appliance conforms with the CE directives for radio interference
suppression and low-voltage safety and has been built to meet
current safety requirements. Subject to technical changes without
prior notice!
•This appliance is not intended for use by persons (Including
children) with reduced physical. Sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.
•Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
