Instructions for operating and installing the
DC-25TZ-3 time zone clock.

Description:
The DC-25TZ-3 is a world time zone time of day clock, with 3 displays - each
display is 4 digit 2.3” red LED proudly made in the USA.
Power: 12VDC @ 700mA (supply included) –requires 100-240VAC 50/60Hz 500mA
Timing: Crystal oscillator controlled (factory calibrated) ± 2 minutes / year.
Mounting: Wall mountable via adjustable teardrop mounting tabs on the back.
Viewing Distance: Viewable up to 100ft.
Enclosure: The all aluminum enclosure has a black textured finger print resistant
powder coat finish and is 7.75 inches high x 31.75 inches wide x 2.25 inches deep.
Weight: Approximately 7.5 lbs.
Controls: Top mounted switches:
12 /24 hour display toggle switch
Set Hour and Set Minute for the master clock (12mm sealed switch)
Set Hour and Set Minute-Tens offset for each secondary zone (12mm sealed
switch)
Battery Backup: Rechargeable 9 Volt battery backup time keeping (included).
The unit is shipped with the 9V battery disconnected from the unit. You
will need to connect the battery before use.

Operation:
See photo above: Connect power to the DC-25TZ-3 (only use the 12VDC wall power
supply that is provided) to the power jack located on the side of the enclosure.
See photo above: Connect the rechargeable battery backup. The battery backup is
located on the rear portion of the enclosure behind a 2.5 inch x 1.75 inch plate. Note:
This is a rechargeable 9 volt battery. Allow 24 hours of recharge time for full charge.
When power is first applied to the DC-25TZ-3, all 3 time zones will display 12:00 am
(12 hour mode) and 00:00 (24 hour mode)

12 hour or 24 hour mode: This toggle switch determines the clocks displaying either
12 hour or 24 hour format. This is clock wide meaning all the clocks will display the
same format.
The unit consists of (1) master clock and (2) secondary clocks. The master clock is
responsible for synchronizing the minute-units and seconds of the secondary clocks.
Note: All momentary set switches for setting the time are located above each of
their respective time zone clock.
Setting the master time zone:
Set Hours: Press and hold the Set Hours switch above the display until the
desired value is reached.
Set Minutes: Press and hold the Set Minutes switch above the display until
the desired value is reached.
The master clock will send the corrected minute-units and zero seconds to the
secondary clocks every ten seconds. This will show by the secondary clocks’
colon flashing.
Setting the secondary time zones:
Set Hours: Press and release the Set Hours switch above the display until the
desired value is reached.
Setting the minute-tens offset: Press and hold the Set Hours switch above
the display. The minute-tens place for that clock should increment by 1 every
second. This allows for those time zones with 30 minute offsets for example.

Mounting: See photo above. Mount the DC-25TZ-3 in clean dry dust free area. The
DC-25TZ-3 can be viewed up to 100 feet. It is recommended that you should first test
the location of the mounting sight for proper viewing before permanently mounting.
There are (2) keyhole mounting tabs for easy wall hanging, using screws secured to
the wall. The keyhole mounting tabs can be easily moved horizontally width wise in
the enclosure channel by loosening their respective set screws. Once the distance
between them has been found tighten the respective set screw.
