COFFEE MAKER
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Before using the electrical appliance, the following basic precautions should always be followed including the following:
Read all instructions.
Make sure that your outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the rating label of the coee maker.
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or in abnormal state. If its main cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, the nearest service agent or a qualied person.
Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
To protect against re, electric shock and injury to persons do not immerse cord, plug, in water or other liquid.
Remove plug from wall outlet before cleaning and when not in use. Allow appliance cool down completely before taking off,
attaching components or before cleaning.
The use of accessory is not recommended by the appliance manufacturer. It may result in re, electric shock and/or person injury.
The container is designed for use with this appliance. It can not be used on a range top.
Do not clean container with cleansers, steel wool pads, or other abrasive materials.
Do not hang power cord over the edge of table or counter, or touch hot surface.
Do not place the coee maker on hot surface or beside re in order to avoid to be damaged.

Close supervision is necessary when your appliance is being used near children.
Be careful not to get burned by the steam.
To disconnect, turn any control to “O”, then remove plug from wall outlet.
Do not let the coee maker operate without water.
Never use the appliance if the carafe shows any signs of cracks. Only use the carafe with this appliance. Use carefully as the carafe is
very fragile.

The container is designed for use with this appliance, it must never be used on a range top.
Do not set a hot container on a wet or cold surface.
Do not use a cracked container or a container having a loose or weakened handle.
Do not clean container with cleansers, steel wool pads, or other abrasive material.
Scalding may occur if the cover is removed during the brewing cycles.
Some parts of appliance are hot when operated, so do not touch with hand. Use handles or knobs only.
Never leave the empty carafe on the warming plate otherwise the carafe is liable to crack.
Do not set a hot container on a hot or cold surface.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack
of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person
responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
– sta kitchen areas in shops, oices and other working environments;
– farm houses;
– by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
– bed and breakfast type environments.
Do not use outdoors.

KNOW YOUR COFFEE MAKER BEFORE FIRST USE
Check that all accessories are complete and the unit is not
damaged. Add clean water up to maximum level to brew
several times without coffee powder according to the steps
below, and then discard the water. Wash the detachable parts
thoroughly with warm water.
USING YOUR COFFEE MAKER
Open the top cover and ll the water tank with cold drinking water.
NOTE: Do not fill water tank with water to exceed max level as
indicated on water gauge. The appliance can brew max 10 cups of
coee every brewing cycle.
Place the funnel into funnel holder and make sure the funnel is
assembled in place, and then put a paper lter into funnel correctly.
Add proper coee powder into paper lter. Usually a cup of coee
need a level spoon of coee powder, but you may adjust according
to personal taste, and then replace the top cover.
Insert glass carafe with lid in place onto warming plate horizontally,
ensure center line of carafe aligns with that of funnel.
Plug the unit into an outlet.

Press power switch to the “I” position, the indicator in it will be illuminated and the appliance will begin working. The brewing
process can be interrupted by pressing the switch to the “O” position at any time and the indicator in it will go o, indicating your
coee maker is o. Once the switch is pressed again to the “I” position, the appliance will continue to brew.
NOTE: the appliance is designed with a pause-and-serve feature, if you wish, at any time during brewing cycle, you can
temporarily remove carafe to pour and serve a cup of hot coee. The brewing cycle will not be interrupted and no coee will
drip from the appliance, simply replace glass carafe onto warming plate to restart the brewing cycle, But do not remove glass
carafe for longer than 30s, never return empty carafe onto warming plate when it is still warm.
Remove carafe to serve when nish brewing
NOTE: the coee you get will be less than the water you have added as some water is absorbed by coee powder.
CAUTION: When pour coffee, the momentary inclined angle of carafe shall not be more than 45 degree from the vertical
position, you shall pour the coee slowly until the carafe is empty, otherwise the coee in the carafe will rush to the bottom of
carafe lid, and the coee will ow out from two edges of lid and hurt person!
Aer brewing, the appliance will automatically switch to the warming mode, which will continue to keep your coee warm until
you turn o the appliance. It is suggested that warming time shall be not more than 1 hour. For an optimum coee taste, serve it
just aer brewing.
Always turn the coee maker o and unplug the appliance when not in use.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CAUTION: Be sure to unplug this appliance before cleaning and let the appliance cool down completely. To protect against
electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug or unit in water or liquid.

Clean all detachable parts aer each use in hot sudsy water.
Wipe external surface of product with a so, damp cloth to remove stains.
NOTE: Do not attempt to clean the inside of water tank, as this will leave a residue of lint and may clog your coee maker,
simply rinse with cold water periodically.
Water droplets may buildup in the area above the funnel and drip onto the product base during brewing. To control the dripping,
wipe o the area with a clean, dry cloth aer each use of the product.
Replace all parts and keep for next use.
REMOVING MINERAL DEPOSITS
To keep your coee maker operating eiciently, periodically you should clean away the mineral deposits le by the water according
to the water quality in your area and the use frequency, we recommend removing mineral deposits as follows:
Fill the tank with water and descaler to the max level as indicated on water gauge (the scale of water and descaler is 4:1, the detail
refers to the instruction of descaler. Please use “household descaler”), you may also use the citric acid instead of the descaler (the
one hundred parts of water and three parts of citric acid).
Insert glass carafe onto the warming plate.
Make sure without coee powder and funnel are assembled in place.
Switch on the appliance and allow it to “brew” de-scaling solution.
Aer “brew” one-cup solution, switch o the appliance.
Leave the solution stay for 15 minutes and repeat step 3-5.
Switch on the appliance and run o the solution until the water tank is completely empty.
Rinse by operating the appliance with water at least 3 times.

HINTS FOR GREAT-TASTING COFFEE
A clean coee maker is essential for making great-tasting coee. Regularly clean the coee maker as specied in the “CLEANING
AND MAINTENANCE” section. Always use fresh, cold water in the coee maker.
Store unused coffee powder in a cool, dry place. After opening a package of coffee powder, reseal it tightly and store it in a
refrigerator to maintain its freshness.
For an optimum coee taste, buy whole coee beans and nely grind them just before brewing.
Do not reuse coee powder since this will greatly reduce the coee’ avor. Reheating coee is not recommended as coee is at its
peak avor immediately aer brewing.
Clean the coee maker when over-extraction causes oiliness. Small oil droplets on the surface of brewed, black coee are due to
the extraction of oil from the coee powder.
Oiliness may occur more frequently if heavily roasted coees are used.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
• Read all instructions before using.
• Before connecting the kettle to the power supply, check that the voltage indicated on the appliance (underside the kettle & base)
corresponds with the voltage in your home. If this is not the case, contact your dealer and do not use the kettle.
• The attached base can not be used for other than intended use.
• Do not operate the appliance without load to avoid damaging the heat elements.
• Unplug from the outlet when not in use.
• Do not let the cord hang over edge of table counter or touch hot surface.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
• Should you accidentally allow the kettle to operate without water, the boil-dry protection will automatically switch it o. If this
should occur, allow the kettle to cool before lling with cold water and re-boiling.
• Ensure that kettle is used on a rm and at surface where the children can’t touch, this can prevent from overturning the kettle to
damage the person or kettle.
• To protect against a re, electric shock or personal injury, do not immerse cord, electric plugs or kettle in water or other liquids.
• Always take care to pour boiling water slowly and carefully without tipping the kettle too fast.12. Be careful when opening the lid
for relling when the kettle is hot.

KNOW YOUR KETTLE
BEFORE INITIAL USE
If you are using the kettle for the rst time, it is recommended
that you clean your kettle before use by boiling a full kettle of
water twice and then discarding the water.
OPERATION
• To ll water into the kettle, remove it from the power base
and open the lid by liing the lid handle, ll with the desired
amount of water to the kettle. Always ll the kettle between
the minimum (0.5L) and maximum (1.7L.) marks. Too little
water will result in the kettle switching o before the water
has boiled.
NOTE: Do not ll the water over the maximum level, as water
may spill out of the spout when boiling. Ensure that the lid
is firmly in place before connecting the power cord to the
outlet.
• Close the lid. Position the kettle on the power base in
place. Make sure the kettle contact with the power base
completely.
• Connect the plug into a power outlet. Press down the switch
to “I” position and the switch light illuminates. Then start to
boil the water. The kettle will switch o automatically once
the water has boiled and the switch light extinguishes.

You can shut o the power by pressing the switch at any moment during boiling water.
NOTE: Ensure that switch is clear of obstructions and the lid is firmly closed. The kettle will not turn off if the switch is
constrained or if the lid is le open.
• Li the kettle from the power base and then pour the water.
NOTE: Operate carefully when pouring the water from your kettle as boiling water may result in scald, besides, don’t open the
lid while the water in the kettle is hot.
• The kettle will not re-boil until the switch is uplied. Allow to cool for 15~20 seconds before reopening to boil water. The kettle may
be stored on the power base when not in use.
NOTE: Ensure power supply is turned o when kettle is not in use.
BOIL-DRY PROTECTION
Should you accidentally allow the kettle to operate without water, the boil-dry protection will automatically switch it o. If this
should occur, allow the kettle to cool before lling with cold water and re-boiling.
CARE AND CLEANING
Always disconnect the appliance from the power outlet and leave it to cool down completely before cleaning.Never immerse the
kettle or cord in water, or allow moisture to contact with these parts.

REMOVAL OF MINERAL DEPOSITS
Mineral deposits in tap water may cause the kettle interior to discolor .To remove this build-up, use non-toxic Liquid Descaler.
ALTERNATIVELY
1. Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar and the remainder of water and be allowed to stand overnight. Do not boil.
2. Empty the solution from the kettle. Any stains remaining inside the spout can be removed by rubbing with a damp cloth, ll the
kettle with clean water, bring to boil and then discard the water. Repeat and the kettle will then be ready to use.
CLEANING EXTERNAL HOUSING
Wipe the external housing with a wild and damp cloth or cleaner.
CAUTION: Do not use chemical, steel, wooden or abrasive cleaners to clean the outside of the kettle.
CLEANING THE FILTER
Remember to clean the lter with a wild and damp cloth at intervals.
STORAGE
When not in use or storage, the power cord may be wound around the cord storage under the base of kettle.

PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
. FOR THE FIRST USE
As there is manufacturing residue or oil remained in the
toaster or heat element, it usually emits the odor for the rst
use. It is normal and will not occur after several times use.
Before toasting the rst slice of bread it is strongly suggested
to operate the appliance following below instructions, except
without bread.
OPERATION
• Put bread slice into the bread slot, it can be inserted two
slices at most every time. Only the regular slice can be
placed into the bread slot.
Note: Make sure the crumb tray is completely positioned in
place before using.
• Plug the power cord into the outlet.
• Set color control knob to your desired color. There is
7-position level, the lowest is white and the highest is
puce. The bread slice can be toasted to golden color at the
position of “4”.
Note: 1) Toasting color for one side is darker than that for
double bread at the same level.
2) If toasted continuously, toasting color for the latter
bread is darker than the color of previous cycle at the
same level.
