2 Basic safety advice
The handling of the appliance technology is only allowed for instructed staff. The exact
knowledge of the guide book is for your staff an important condition for the handling of
the machine.
2.1 Use according to regulations
deconta has to engage you as the user to follow the guide book and to employ this
engineered technology only in accordance with the regulations and not in a inappropriate
way! In the event of non-observance, deconta assumes no liability.
2.2 Operations
In order to ensure the safety during the operation of the device, you have to respect
without fail the following:
Do not place in an explosive area
Necessary repairs, maintenance and cleaning, in particular in the field of electrical
equipment have to be realized only by qualified staff
The safety and security equipments have to be treated with care, ready for use.
the indicated safety advices have to be kept in a readable state and have to be
observed
In order to ensure the security, any changes on the machine are prohibited.
ATTENTION!
The device is not suitable for the use in a condensed, corrosive, flammable and
explosive compartment air. The ambient and medium air temperature must be
situated in a sector from -10 till +50°C

3 Transport
3.1. Delivery
If no other agreements have been made, the device will be delivered complete and well
packed for the transport from deconta works. Transport damages have to be
documented at once during the handing over of the carrier or another supplier. Please
note the possible damages additionally on the way bill.
During the transport, you have to handle with care of course in order to avoid damages
due to faulty handling or imprudence.
3.2 Transport
Please do not expose the device to impacts or blows, because otherwise the function and
safety of the device is not guaranteed.

5 Technical description
The device Telealarm GSM allows the notification of the person on charge in case of
alarm or message by means of an integrated CSM phone.
The connection and the handling are perfectly simple. For the use, you only need a SIM
Card and current.
An integrated battery, which is automatically charged via mains voltage, guarantees a
safe use also during outages.
Together with the negative pressure monitor aircontrol or others signalling devices such
as burglary detector, smoke and water detector, the Telealarm GSM offers a professional
and reliable solution for the transmission of alarm.

7 Initial operation
7.1 Important advices
Before every use, please examine the device, cable and plug on damages.
In the event of fault or malfunction, stop the device at once and secure it. Any
faults must be rectified immediately.
The device and their electrical connections may not be operated in a damp or wet
environment.
Do not expose the device in operational state to any vibrations or shocks.
Do not operate the automatic announcement unit in the contaminated area!
7.2 Insertion of the SIM Card
If the SIM Card is protected through a PIN Number, you have to memorise this
number before inserting the SIM Card in the telealarm device (Entry #20, see under
9.1 possible settings / Code-chart).
Switch the device off and unplug.
Unscrew the protective cover and remove it.
With a sharp object, e.g. a pen, push the yellow point. The
SIM-Card-Holder is pressed out and can be extracted.
Insert the SIM-Card in the holder. Please mind the position of
the oblique edge.
Insert the SIM-Card-Holder. Absolutely mind the right
installation position!
Replace the protective cover.

8 Display- Indication
After the switching-on of the device, following information appears on the display:
Left above => Status of the device
Possible status indications (S followed from 3 figures):
S500 SIM Card missing
S501 SIM Card is void
S502 No GSM network available
S503 PIN Number is wrong
S504 GSM network available, but not logged in
S505 Search for an available GSM net is working
S510 logged in GSM net, home net
S511 logged in GSM net, roaming
Right above => Alarm status
Possible alarm status indications:
A100 Alarm analysis is deactivated
A101 Alarm analysis is activated, no alarm have been recognised
A102 Alarm recognised, the delay time runs
A103 Delay time elapsed, call is made
A104 The call has been made
Centre => The name or the number of the network operator
Left below => The GSM field strength with 0 till 5 bars

The settings are always done in the same way on the keyboard:

Enter the Code for the suitable setting (see following code chart)
