NOTE: Light bulbs may become loose during shipping. If the flame effect is dim or does not
work, please check that light bulb or bulbs are finger tight in socket. See instructions for
replacing bulb orbulbs.

ATTENTION:
1. Find a location for the heater that is protected from direct sunlight.
2. Do not plug the unit into the power outlet before reading all instructions.

WHEN USING ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES, BASIC PRECAUTIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE
FOLLOWED TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK, AND INJURY TO PERSONS,
INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:
1) Read all instructions before using this heater.
2) This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
The grill directly in front of the heater outlet becomes hot during heater operation. Keep
combustible materials,suchasfurniture, pillows, bedding,papers, clothes,and curtains
at least 3 ft (0.9 m) away from the front of the unit and keep them away from the sides and
rear.
3) Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or individuals
withdisabilities andwhenever thefireplace isleft operating andunattended.
4) Always unplug the heater when not in use.
5) Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions,
has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
6) Do not use outdoors.
7) Thisheater isnot intendedforusein bathrooms, laundry areas andsimilar indoor
locations. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
8) Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar
coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
9) To disconnect heater, turn controls to off, then remove plug from outlet.
10) Connect to properly grounded outlets only.
11) Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this
may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
12) To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on
soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
13) A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline,
paint, orflammable liquidsare usedorstored.
14) Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the
manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
15) Caution: Do not plug this product into a receptacle controlled by a wall switch or dimmer.
16) When storing or transporting the unit and cord, keep in a dry place, free from excessive
vibration and store so as to avoid damage.

FIREPLACE HEATER HAS SAFETY OVERHEAT PROTECTION. IF THE OVERHEAT PROTECTION
TRIPS, SWITCH OFF ALL SWITCH BUTTONS AND WAIT APPROXIMATELY 5-10 MINUTES. IT
SHOULD RESET AUTOMATICALLY ONCE THE UNIT COOLS DOWN.
WARNING: PROCEDURES AND TECHNIQUES IF NOT CAREFULLY FOLLOWED WILL RESULT IN
DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT AND WILL EXPOSE THE USER TO THE RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY,
ILLNESS OR DEATH.
A 15 AMP circuit is required to operate this heater. If the breaker trips when the heater
is used, then you may need to move the heater to another location or unplug other
appliances that are on the same circuit. If you require an extension cord use one that is
rated at 1875 watts.

This heater is for use on 120 volts. The cord has a plug, as shown at A in illustration below.
An adapter, as shown at C, is available for connecting three-blade grounding-type plugs
to two-slot receptacles. The green grounding plug extending from the adapter must be
connected to a permanent ground such as a properly grounded outlet box. The adapter
should not be used if a three-slot grounded receptacle
is available.
After completely reading instructions, confirm that all controls on the heater are in
the OFF position. Plug the unit into a 15 amp, 120 volt outlet. his heater is for use on
120 volts.
OPERATION
The controls and switches are located on the front panel.
O/ I
O/ I
0/I Press this button for main power and flame effect. Press again to turn off the
unit. When 0/I switch is OFF, all functions will be stopped even though the
switches are in the ON position.
LOW HEAT: For low heat function, press this switch while the 0/I switch is in
the “I” position for low heat.
HIGH HEAT: For high heat function, press this switch while the LOW HEAT and
0/I switch are in the ON position for high heat.
OSCILLATION: Press this switch to turn on the oscillating function. Press again
to stop the unit oscillating. This switch will operate when the 0/I switch is in the
ON position.
CAUTION: THIS HEATER IS EQUIPPED WITH TIP-OVER SWITCH THAT WILL CUT OFF THE MAIN
POWER WHEN THE UNIT IS BEING TRIPPED OVER OR TILTED UP. MAKE SURE UP THAT THE
UNIT IS PLACED ON A FLAT SUPPORTING SURFACE.
WARNING: DO NOT MODIFY OR BYPASS THE TIP-OVER SWITCH.
CAUTION: IF YOU USE THIS HEATER IN CONJUNCTION WITH A THERMAL CONTROL, A
PROGRAMMABLE CONTROLLER, A TIMER OR ANY OTHER DEVICE THAT SWITCHES ON THE
HEATER AUTOMATICALLY, REMEMBER TO OBSERVE ALL SAFETY WARNINGS AT ALL TIMES.
THE HEATER HAS A SAFETY OVERHEAT PROTECTION. IF THE OVERHEAT PROTECTION TRIPS,
TURN OFF ALL THE SWITCHES AND UNPLUG THE POWER CORD FROM THE RECEPTACLE.
IT SHOULD RESET AUTOMATICALLY AFTER 5 MINUTES.
WARNING: DISCONNECT POWER AND UNPLUG THE POWER CORD BEFORE ATTEMPTING
ANY MAINTENANCE OR CLEANING TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK OR
PERSONAL INJURY. THE BULB(S) IN YOUR UNIT CAN BECOME EXTREMELY HOT. ALLOW AT
LEAST 10 MINUTES BETWEEN TURNING OFF THE UNIT AND REMOVING THE LIGHT BULBS TO
AVOID ACCIDENTAL BURNING OF THE SKIN.
FLAME EFFECT
The fire effect is created with the use of a 40 watts B-10 candelabra light bulb with an
E12 (small) socket base. The light bulb will have to be replaced from time to time when
they burn out.
During normal operation, the heater will always give you simulated flame function. If the
intensity of flame suddenly increases, it means that the light bulb is going to burn out.
Replace the light bulbs immediately, according to the instructions. Do not operate the
heater when the light bulb burns out or without the light bulb.
REPLACING THE LIGHT BULB
Step 1: Open rear cover by loosening 6 screws at the back of heater. See Fig. 1.
Step 2: Remove the flame petal by pulling it to the left. See Fig. 2.
Step 3: Remove the plastic cover inside by loosening 6 screws. See Fig. 3.
Step 4: You will find the light bulb. Replace the burnt out light bulb with a new 40 watt
type B-10 candelabra light bulb. See Fig. 4.
Step 5: Reinstall the plastic cover and tighten all 6 screws.
Step 6: Reinstall the flame petal.
Step 7: Close the rear cover and tighten all 6 screws.
Step 8: Plug in the unit.

CLEANING
To clean unit, first turn off controls on unit and unplug the unit from power source. To
clean glass display panel, remove dust with clean dry cloth. Remove finger prints and
other marks clean glass with clean damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or spray
liquids on glass display panel surface. Metal and metal painted parts should be cleaned
with damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or spray liquids on these surfaces.
STORAGE
When the heater is not in use, the heater shall be stored in dry location and away from
possible damage. The power cord shall be routed properly and avoid from contacting hot/
sharp objects.
WARRANTY
Every oscillating fireplace heater is tested before it leaves the factory and it is
guaranteed for one year. If the unit should fail to operate correctly within one year
from the date of purchase, please go to our website www.qualitycraft.com and click on
customer support. We will, at our discretion, either repair or replace the unit. It will have
to be returned to us freight prepaid and we will return the repaired or replaced unit to you
freight prepaid. The company’s sole obligation is to repair or replace the unit.
WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE
If a claimable defect occurs, please fill out a claim form through our website at
www.qualitycraft.com and click on customer support.
Before you make your claim, please make sure you have:
1. The description of the oscillating fireplace heater
2. Proof of sale
3. Details regarding the defect
4. Name and address of the owner
Claims must be filled out in writing and returned within six (6) months of appearance
of defect. Failure to comply with this stipulation will make the warranty null and
void. We reserve the right to a thirty-day (30) delay following receipt of claim in
which to inspect the product. We assume no responsibility for labor costs, removing/
replacing a previously installed product, transportation, or return of a product.

Un circuit de 15 ampères est requis pour utiliser ce foyer. Si le disjoncteur déclenche
lorsque vous utilisez l’appareil, il vous faudra peut-être le déplacer, ou débrancher
d’autres appareils partageant le même circuit. Si vous devez utiliser un câble de rallonge,
il doit avoir une puissance nominale de 1875 W.
Ce foyer électrique est conçu pour fonctionner sur un circuit de 120 V. Le cordon
d’alimentation comporte une fiche, montrée dans l’illustration A ci-dessous. Un
adaptateur, tel que montré en C, est disponible, pour permettre de brancher une fiche
à mise à la terre à trois broches dans une prise de courant à deux broches. La fiche
de mise à la terre verte qui prolonge l’adaptateur doit être connectée à un conducteur
de terre du type permanent, comme par ex. une boîte à prises correctement mise à la
terre. Si une prise de courant à trois broches de mise à la terre effective est disponible,
n’utilisez pas d’adaptateur.
Après avoir lu toutes les directives, s’assurer que toutes les commandes du foyer
électrique sont en position d’arrêt. Brancher l’appareil dans une prise de 15 A et 120 V.
Cet appareil exige une alimentation de 120 V.
UTILISATION
Les commandes et interrupteurs se trouvent sur le panneau avant

0/I Appuyer sur cet interrupteur pour activer l’alimentation principale et l’effet de
flammes. Appuyez de nouveau pour éteindre l’appareil. Lorsque l’interrupteur
de marche/arrêt (0/I) est en placé en position d’arrêt, toutes les fonctions sont
désactivées même si leurs boutons respectifs sont en position de marche.
CHALEUR MINIMALE : Fonction de chauffage de moindre intensité – appuyer sur
ce bouton lorsque l’interrupteur de marche/arrêt (0/I) est en position de marche
(I) pour diffuser la chaleur d’intensité minimale.
CHALEUR MAXIMALE : Fonction de chauffage d’intensité élevée – appuyer sur ce
bouton lorsque l’interrupteur de marche/arrêt (0/I) et le bouton de chaleur mini-
male sont en position de marche pour diffuser la chaleur d’intensité maximale.
OSCILLATION : Appuyer sur ce bouton pour activer la fonction d’oscillation.
Appuyer de nouveau pour faire cesser l’oscillation de l’appareil. Ce bouton ne
s’active que lorsque l’interrupteur de marche/arrêt (0/I) est en position de
marche.
MISE EN GARDE : CET APPAREIL EST MUNI D’UN DISJONCTEUR QUI COUPE L’ALIMENTATION

SI LA PROTECTION CONTRE LA SURCHAUFFE SE DÉCLENCHE, PLACER TOUS LES BOUTONS
EN POSITION D’ARRÊT ET DÉBRANCHER LE CORDON D’ALIMENTATION DE LA PRISE. ELLE
DEVRAIT SE RÉENCLENCHER AUTOMATIQUEMENT APRÈS 5 MINUTES.
AVERTISSEMENT : METTRE L’UNITÉ HORS TENSION ET DÉBRANCHER LE CORDON
D’ALIMENTATION AVANT D’EFFECTUER TOUTE OPÉRATION D’ENTRETIEN OU DE NETTOYAGE
POUR RÉDUIRE LE RISQUE D’INCENDIE, DE DÉCHARGE ÉLECTRIQUE OU DE BLESSURE.
TOUTE AMPOULE DE L’APPAREIL PEUT DEVENIR EXTRÊMEMENT CHAUDE. APRÈS AVOIR
DÉBRANCHÉ L’APPAREIL, ATTENDRE AU MOINS DIX MINUTES AVANT DE RETIRER UNE
AMPOULE POUR ÉVITER LES BRÛLURES ACCIDENTELLES.

EFFET DE FLAMMES
L’effet de flammes s’obtient grâce à une ampoule B10 à culot candélabre de 40 W
installée dans une douille E12 (petite). L’ampoule devra être remplacée de temps à autre
après avoir grillé.
En mode de fonctionnement courant, la fonction de l’effet de flammes de l’appareil est
toujours activée. Si l’intensité des flammes s’accroit soudainement, l’ampoule est sur le
point de griller.
Remplacer l’ampoule immédiatement en suivant les directives. Ne pas faire fonctionner
le poêle-foyer sans son ampoule ou avec une ampoule grillée.
REMPLACER LES AMPOULES
Étape 1: Soulever le panneau arrière en desserrant les 6 vis à l’arrière de l’appareil.
Voir la figure 1.
Étape 2: Retirer l’assemblage de flammes en le tirant vers la gauche. Voir la figure 2.
Étape 3: Retirer le couvercle en plastique à l’intérieur en desserrant les 6 vis.
Voir la figure 3.
Étape 4: L’ampoule s’y trouve. Remplacer l’ampoule grillée par une nouvelle ampoule B10
à culot candélabre de 40 W. Voir la figure 4.
Étape 5: Replacer le couvercle en plastique et serrer les 6 vis.
Étape 6: Remettre en place l’assemblage de flammes.
Étape 7: Refermer le panneau arrière et serrer les 6 vis.
Étape 8: Brancher l’appareil.
NETTOYAGE
Pour nettoyer l’appareil, tournez les commandes en position hors circuit (OFF), puis
débranchez-le de la source d’alimentation. Pour nettoyer le panneau de verre : enlevez
la poussière en utilisant un linge sec et propre; pour enlever les marques de doigts
ou autres saletés, nettoyez le verre avec un linge humide et propre. N’utilisez pas de
nettoyants abrasifs ou de liquides en aérosol sur la surface en verre.
Les pièces de métal ou de métal peint doivent être nettoyées avec un linge propre et
humide. N’utilisez pas de nettoyants abrasifs ou de liquides en aérosol sur ces surfaces.
ENTREPOSAGE
Lorsqu’il ne sert pas, entreposer l’appareil dans un endroit sec, où il ne risque pas d’être
endommagé. Le cordon d’alimentation doit être enroulé convenablement; éviter qu’il soit
en contact avec des objets chauds ou coupants.
GARANTIE
Chaque foyer électrique oscillant est testé avant de quitter l’usine et est garanti
pendant un an. Si l’appareil ne fonctionne pas correctement dans la période d’un an à
compter de la date d’achat, allez sur notre site Web www.qualitycraft.com et cliquez
sur Soutien à la clientèle. À notre discrétion, nous réparerons ou nous remplacerons

INSTRUCCIONES IMPORTANTES
DE SEGURIDAD
AL USAR APARATOS ELÉCTRICOS, SE DEBEN TOMAR SIEMPRE CIERTAS PRECUACIONES
BÁSICAS COMO LAS SIGUIENTES, PARA REDUCIR EL RIESGO DE INCENDIO, DESCARGA
ELÉCTRICA Y LESIONES PERSONALES:
1) Lea todas las instrucciones antes de usar esta calefactor.
2) Esta calefactor se calienta cuando se usa. Para evitar quemaduras, no toque las
superficiescalientes conlapieldesnuda. Mantengamateriales combustibles, como
muebles, almohadas, ropa de cama, papeles, ropa y cortinas a un mínimo de 3 pies (0,9
m) de la parte delantera de la chimenea y manténgalos alejados también de los costados
y de la parte trasera.
3) Es necesario tomar precauciones extremas cuando se usa un aparato como éste cerca de
niñosominusválidos ocuando elaparato sedejaen funcionamiento sinsupervisión.
4) Desenchufe siempre la calefactor cuando no se use.
5) No haga funcionar ninguna calefactor que tenga un cordón o enchufe dañado o después
de que haya funcionado mal, se haya caído o dañado.
6) No utilice la calefactor al aire libre.
7) Esta calefactor no ha sido concebida para usar en cuartos de baño, lavaderos y áreas
interiores similares. Nunca coloque la chimenea donde se pueda caer a la bañera u otro
lugar donde se acumule el agua.
8) No pase el cordón por debajo de la alfombra. No cubra el cordón con alfombras pequeñas,
alfombrillas de pasillo o cubiertas similares. Ponga el cordón lejos del área de tráfico y
donde no sea posible tropezar con él.
9) Para desconectar la calefactor, gire los controles a “apagado” y luego saque el enchufe
deltomacorriente.
10) Enchufe únicamente en un tomacorriente con conexión a tierra.
11) No inserte ni permita que entre ningún objeto en ninguna abertura de ventilación o de
salida de aire, ya que puede producir un choque eléctrico, un incendio o dañar el aparato.
12) Para impedir que se produzca un incendio, no bloquee las tomas o escapes de aire. No
ponga lachimeneasobre superficies blandas,como unacama, dondelas aberturas
puedenbloquearse.
13) Una chimenea tiene piezas que se calientan y que hacen arco o producen chispas en
el interior. No lo utilice en áreas donde se use o se guarde gasolina, pintura o líquidos
inflamables.
14) Utilice esta calefactor conforme a lo que se indica en este manual. Cualquier otro uso no
recomendadoporel fabricante puedeproducirincendios, descargas eléctricaso lesiones
personales.
15) Precaución: No enchufar la chimenea calefactor en un tomacorriente controlado por un
interruptor de pared o un regulador de intensidad.
16) Cuando guarde o transporte el aparato y el cordón, manténgalos en un lugar seco, libre de
excesiva vibración y guárdelos bien para que no se dañen.

Para hacer funcionar este calentador se requiere un circuito de 15 amperios. Si el
interruptor se desconecta al usar el calentador, es posible que deba moverlo a otro sitio
o desenchufar otros aparatos que estén conectados al mismo circuito. Si requiere un
alargador, éste deberá estar clasificado para 1875 vatios.
Esta chimenea eléctrica debe utilizarse con 120 voltios. Como se observa en la figura A,
el cable posee un enchufe. Hay un adaptador disponible, como se observa en la figura
C, para conectar enchufes de tres clavijas con conexión a tierra a tomacorrientes de
dos espigas. El enchufe con conexión a tierra verde del adaptador debe conectarse a
un contacto a tierra permanente, por ejemplo, un tomacorriente de conexión a tierra. El
adaptador no debería utilizarse si hay un tomacorriente de tres espigas disponible.
Luego de leer las instrucciones completas, confirme que todos los controles del
calefactor estén en la posición de apagado (OFF). Enchufe la unidad a un tomacorriente
15 A y 120 voltios. Este calefactor funciona con 120 voltios.

0/I Presione este botón para activar la alimentación eléctrica principal y obtener el
efecto de llama. Presiónelo nuevamente para apagar la unidad. Cuando el
interruptor 0/I está en la posición de apagado (OFF), todas las funciones se
interrumpirán, incluso si los interruptores están en la posición de encendido (ON).
LOW HEAT: Para obtener la función de bajo nivel de calor: presione este
interruptor mientras el interruptor 0/I está en.
HIGH HEAT: Para obtener la función de alto nivel de calor: presione este
interruptor mientras los interruptores LOW HEAT y 0/I están en la posición de
encendido (ON) a fin de lograr un alto nivel de calor.
OSCILLATION: Presione este interruptor para encender la función de oscilación.
Presiónelo nuevamente para detener la oscilación de la unidad. Este interruptor
funcionará cuando el interruptor 0/I esté en la posición de encendido (ON).

SOBRECALENTAMIENTO. SI LA PROTECCIÓN CONTRA SOBRECALENTAMIENTO SE
INTERRUMPE, APAGUE TODOS LOS INTERRUPTORES Y DESENCHUFE EL CABLE DE
ALIMENTACIÓN ELÉCTRICA DEL RECEPTÁCULO. LUEGO DE 5 MINUTOS, DEBERÍA
REINICIARSE AUTOMÁTICAMENTE.

ALIMENTACIÓN ANTES DE REALIZAR CUALQUIER ACTIVIDAD DE MANTENIMIENTO O

PERSONALES. LAS BOMBILLAS DE LA UNIDAD SE PUEDE CALENTAR EN FORMA EXCESIVA.
PARA QUITAR LAS BOMBILLAS, ESPERE AL MENOS 10 MINUTOS DESPUÉS DE APAGAR LA
UNIDAD PARA EVITAR UNA QUEMADURA ACCIDENTAL.
EFECTO DE LLAMA
El efecto de fuego se crea mediante el uso de una bombilla de candelabro de 40 vatios
tipo B-10 con un portalámparas E12 (pequeño). Deberá reemplazar la bombilla de tanto
en tanto cuando se queme.
Durante el funcionamiento normal, el calefactor siempre le brindará una función de llama
artificial. Si la intensidad de la llama aumenta repentinamente, significa que la bombilla
se quemará.
Reemplace las bombillas inmediatamente, de acuerdo con las instrucciones. No haga
funcionar el calefactor tipo estufa cuando la bombilla se quema o sin bombilla.

REEMPLAZO DE LAS BOMBILLA
Paso 1: Para abrir la cubierta trasera, afloje los 6 tornillos de la parte trasera del
calefactor. Vea la fig. 1.
Paso 2: Para extraer el pétalo de llama, tírelo hacia la izquierda. Vea la fig. 2.
Paso 3: Para extraer la cubierta plástica interior, afloje los 6 tornillos. Vea la fig. 3.
Paso 4: Encontrará la bombilla. Reemplace la bombilla quemada con una nueva bombilla
de candelabro de 40 vatios tipo B-10. Vea la fig. 4.
Paso 5: Vuelva a colocar la cubierta plástica y ajuste los 6 tornillos.
Paso 6: Vuelva a colocar el pétalo de llama.
Paso 7: Cierre la cubierta trasera y ajuste los 6 tornillos.
Paso 8: Enchufe la unidad

LIMPIEZA
Para limpiar la unidad, apague primero los controles y desenchúfela de la fuente
de alimentación. Para limpiar el panel de vidrio, quite el polvo con un paño seco y limpio.
Para quitar huellas digitales u otras marcas, limpie el vidrio con un paño húmedo y limpio.
No utilice productos de limpieza abrasivos o rociadores sobre la superficie del panel
de vidrio. Las partes de metal o pintadas se deben limpiar con un paño húmedo. No utilice
productos de limpieza abrasivos o rociadores sobre estas superficies.
ALMACENAMIENTO
Cuando el calefactor no esté funcionando, deberá almacenarlo en un lugar seco, donde
no pueda sufrir daños. El cable de alimentación deberá colocarse correctamente y evitar
el contacto con objetos calientes o filosos.
GARANTÍA
Todos los calefactores calefactor de chimeneas oscilante se prueban antes de
salir de la fábrica y cuentan con una garantía de un año. Si la unidad no funciona
correctamente dentro del año a partir de la fecha de compra, visite nuestro sitio
web www.qualitycraft.com y haga clic en ayuda al cliente. Cualquier sustitución o
reparación de la unidad quedará a nuestro criterio. Tendrá que devolvernos la unidad
con el flete prepagado y le enviaremos la unidad reparada o una nueva con el flete
prepagado. La única obligación de la compañía es reparar o sustituir la unidad.

Las reclamaciones deben completarse por escrito y enviarse en un plazo de seis
(6) meses a partir de la aparición del defecto. El incumplimiento de esta cláusula
anulará y dejará sin efecto la garantía. Nos reservamos el derecho de tener un
tiempo de demora de treinta (30) días luego de recibir la reclamación durante el cual
revisaremos el producto. No asumiremos ninguna responsabilidad respecto de los
costos de la mano de obra, de la extracción/reemplazo de un producto instalado
