1. CAUTION: Make sure the engine and
muffler are cool before attempting
installation.
2. Open the seat to gain access to the engine
compartment. (Fig. 1)
3. Wrap the shield around the muffler with the
seam facing the belt drive. (Fig 2)
4. Fold down the top, tucking in the flaps
inside the shield. (Fig. 3)
5. Wrap 2 supplied stainless ties horizontally.
(Fig. 4)
6. Tighten ratchet ties with supplied DEI
Locking Tie Tool (Fig. 5)
7. Clip off excess tie using side cutters and
fold sharp edge over.

Muffler Heat Shield kit
OVERVIEW: The DEI Golf Cart Muffler Cover
reduces radiant heat produced by the muffler
resulting in a cooler more comfortable ride.

APPLICATION(s): Yamaha Gasoline Golf Carts
2015+. For use on all models using JW8-
E4710-01-00 muffler.
