INSTALLATION
LOCATEthe receiverinthe roomwheredirectlightdoesnotstrikethe screen.Totaldarkness
orareflection on the picturescreen can causeeyestrain.Soft and indirectlighting is
recommended forcomfortableviewing.
ALLOWenough spacebetween the receiverand the wall topermitproperventilation.
AVOIDexcessivewarmlocationstopreventpossibledamage tothe cabinetorcomponent
failure.
CONNECTION
ThisTVreceivercan be connected toAC:220-240V~50Hz.
AUTOMATICDEGAUSSING
All colortelevision receiversaresensitivetomagneticinfluences,usuallycaused byeither
moving the receiverfromone placetoanotherorusing certainelectricalappliancesnearthe
receiver.Thisresidualmagnetismasitiscalled,sometimescausesdistortion whichgivesrise
to"blotchy"areasofcolorinthe picture.Toavoidtheseeffectsthe receiverincorporatesan
automaticdegaussing circuitwhichoperatesforashortwhileimmediatelyeachtimethe re-
ceiverisswitched on using the mainsswitch.Thiscircuitremovesanyresidualmagnetismin
the metalpartsofthe picturetube and thereforeensuresthateachtimethe receiverisswitched
lifelike.If the setismoved orfaced inadifferentdirection,the mainsswitchmustbe switched
off atleast10 minutesinorderthatthe automaticdegaussing circuitoperatesproperly.

Pushthe MainPowerSwitch,PowerIndicatorwill be illuminated.Afterafewsecondsthe TV
screen will lightup.Shouldwhitedotsappearon the screen the TVwill requiretuning intothe
availableTVstationsinyourarea.
Pre-setting theTVstationsintotheMemory

then press the “V+/V-”button ornumericbutton
toselectthe desired Programnumber.
2)Press the “P+/P-”button toselectthe BAND.

VHF-Hand UHF.
3)Press the “P+/P-”button toselectthe COLOUR
then press “V+/V-”button tochange the desired
coloursystemAUTO,PAL,N3.58,N4.43,SECAM.
4)Press the “P+/P-”button toselectthe SOUN then
press “V+/V-”button tochange the desired
sound systemBGorDK.
5)Press the “P+/P-”button toselectthe SEARCH then press the “V+/V-”button tostartthe
station search.The TVscreen will showthe tuning and when the firststation received is
located,the tuning will stop and stored automatically.Repeatsteps1,2,3,4tosearchthe
nextTVstation.asshowninFIG.4,FIG.5.
•If wanttostop search(manual)funtion topress MENU button.
Notes:
•If ghost/noisy stationshavebeen stored when using the AUTOSEARCH method these
stationscan be removed fromthe channellistbyentering the SKIPMode showninthe TUNE
menu.Press the “V+/V-”button and change the OFF statetoON.Press the MENU button to
returntonormalviewing.The unwanted station will be removed fromthe channellistwhen
you change TVchannelsand cannotbe viewed.
•The SKIPPEDstation can be restored byreentering the TUNEmenu and changing the SKIP
ONstatustoOFF.
•Toexitthe TUNEmode press MENU button twotimes.
