devolo Magic Powerline connection

With this test, you can check quickly, with little effort and without prior knowledge, whether the
powerline connection between your devolo Magic adapters is configured correctly and how to
restore it otherwise.
You will need a power strip as an accessory.
1. Magic 1 LAN or Magic 2 LAN Starter Kit
2. Magic 1 WiFi Starter Kit or Magic 2 WiFi Starter Kit

Plug two adapters into the same
power strip.
The LED lights up
permanently on both
adapters. Powerline connection is
established.
The LED of one of the two
adapters does not light or
flash at all. Contact devolo Service
Center, see page 1
The LEDs are flashing red.
The button Oon the two
adapters one after the
other for 10 seconds.
Wait 3 minutes!
Both adapters have LEDs
permanently lit. Powerline connection is established.
The LEDs are still flashing. Contact devolo Service
Center, see page 1

Plug two adapters into the same

LEDs 1 and 3 are
permanently lit. Powerline connection is established.
LED 1 or 3 do not light or flash
at all. Contact devolo Service Center, see page 1
LED 1 and LED 3 flash red. Press button 4 and then
button 1 for 10 seconds.
Wait 3 minutes!
LED 1 and 3 are permanently
lit.Powerline connection is established.
