Introduction
This kit is a tool to completely fill the E-DWT-H
internal test volume with liquid test fluid, and
minimize residual air in the system.
Assembly
The fill kit is shipped partially assembled. To
complete assembly, connect as shown in Figure 1
by sliding the 3/8" tubing onto the reservoir ports
and 1/4" tubing and secure with the hose clips
included in the kit. The clips can be initially closed
by hand, then tightened using pliers. The tubing
will slide onto the barbed connection tightly
without a hose clip.
Procedure
nPlug the E-DWT-H test ports: Use the provided
DH500 plugs to plug both of the DH500 female
test ports on top of and on the rear of E-DWT-H.
oOpen the reservoir and test shut off valves:
Turn both valve handles on the E-DWT-H front
panel counter-clockwise.
pTurn the E-DWT-H variable volume handle
clockwise until it stops.

qSet the range set valve to the Lo Q RPT:
rRemove the reservoir lid (shown removed in
Figure 2):

sThread the brass standoff into the port at the
bottom of the reservoir.
tOpen the slide valve by sliding the shuttle up:
Valve operation is UP-OPEN and DOWN-CLOSED
when the kit is in the orientation shown in
Figure 1.
Squeeze the hand pump until vacuum is near
25 inHg. Read the vacuum on the gauge
attached to the hand pump.
Close the slide valve by sliding the shuttle
down.
Fill the reservoir cup halfway with the liquid test
media. Refer to E-DWT-H User’s Manual for
supported test fluids.
Remove the brass standoff from the reservoir
port. Liquid will be drawn into the evacuated
system.
