Door Operator Information
CDVI Digiway Plus
Your new door operator will look like the image above.
It is recommended that your unit is serviced every 12 months, to ensure maximum reliability
from your system.
If a maintenance agreement is already in place with us we will automatically contact you to
arrange a convenient date & time for an annual service visit.
Opening the Door
The door operator will normally have been installed with a key fob or push button (see
images above).
To operate the door press the button provided and the door will operate for the time
requested at installation (typically 8-15 seconds), or alternatively the system can be set so
that the button opens the door on first press and closes on a further press.

You can also open the door manually if required by either pushing or pulling the door open.
However, it is important that the door is not forced to close as this will damage the
operator. Let the door close automatically.
It is important that the door is NOT locked with the key. If this is required, the operator
should be switched into manual mode using the switch on the side of the operator.
Operation of the opener whilst the door is locked will damage the unit.
Switch
On the side of the operator is a switch that has 3 positions.
•For normal operation of the door from the key fobs and push buttons the switch
should be set to the ‘I’ mode
•When the switch is put into the ‘II’ mode the door operator will open and stay open.
•When the switch is put into the ‘O’ mode the door operator is set to manual
operation only.
Optional - Safety Sensors
These are fitted to both sides of the door
(if required). These sensors stop the door
from operating if anyone or anything is
positioned in front or behind the door
when it is moving. It is important that they
are kept clean and not covered up otherwise the operator will no longer work.
NB: If you are having any difficulty in operating the door firstly, please check (if fitted) that
there is no object which may be interfering with the range of the safety sensors.
Secondly, switch the door operator into the ‘OFF’ position, leave for 1 minute, and then switch
to the ‘ON’ position
Thirdly, ensure that the batteries in the key fob do not require replacing

Electronic Multipoint Lock Operation
If you have an electric multipoint lock system installed
this will be operated automatically by the door operator
(providing it has not be manually locked using the key).
If you need to manually open the door from the inside,
push the handle down and pull/push the door open.
To manually open the door from the outside you will
need the key for the door. Turn the key ¼ of a turn in
the direction required to unlock the door, (you will notice that the key will go slightly
stiff to turn) turn the key another ¼ turn in the same direction to release the lock
system. You can now pull/push the door open.
When the door closes it will automatically lock!
