3.1.2 Preparing
Dismount the original drive system, following components should be retained: beam (16), door
carriers (17), track (18), bracket (19), lock (20), cover set (22), nuts (23) and screws (24).
Note! If there are not enough nuts (23) and screws (24), use the nuts (3) and the screws (4) to re-
place.

3.1.3 I/O board ( KS902MPVA) and the battery (KS902BAT2VA / KS901BAT1VA) installation (option)
a Fix the I/O board (5) and the battery (6) to the beam (16) with the nuts (23) and screws (24).

3.1.4 Fix the main control assembly
a Fix the MCU assembly (9) to the beam (16) with the nuts (23) and screws (24).

3.1.5 Fix the drive unit assembly

3.1.6 Fix the power supply assembly
a Fix the PSU assembly (2) to the beam (16) with the nuts (23) and screws (24).

3.1.7 Fix the tension wheel assembly
a Fix the tension wheel assembly (10) to the beam (16) with the nuts (23) and screws (24), do
not tighten the nuts (23) fully, so it shall be able to slide along the beam (16).
b The position of the tension wheel assembly (10) should be as close as possible to the drive unit,
but make sure that the tension wheel assembly (10) will not interfere with the door carrier
when the door is fully opened.

3.1.8 Fix the universal transmission brackets
a Fix the Z brackets (13) and the universal transmission brackets (11) to the door carriers (25)
with the screws (14).
Note! The door leaves should be holded firmly when unscrew the screws (14) on the door car-
riers (25).

3.1.9 Placement of the transmission brackets
Bi-parting opening
The transmission bracket (26) on the left door leaf shall be connected to the upper belt.
The transmission bracket (26) on the right door leaf shall be connected to the lower belt.

3.1.10 Attachment of the tooth belt
a Cut the tooth belt (7) to the right length if needed. Route the tooth belt (7) around the drive
unit pulley (27) and around the tension wheel (31).
b For bi-parting doors the belt ends are joined with the belt clamp (12) in the lower part of the
tooth belt (7).
c Click the belt clamp (12) into position.
Note! Do not adjust parameter P12!

3.1.11 Checking and adjusting the belt tension
a Loosen the fixing screw (30) without removing it.
b Screw the adjustment screw (28) to its outmost position.
c Tension the tooth belt (7) by pulling the tension wheel assembly (10) by hand. Tighten the nuts
(23) with a torque of 10 Nm.
d Tighten the adjustment screw (28) until there is a gap of approx. 1-2 mm between the lock nut
(29) and the bracket according to illustration below, but not further. Be sure not to overtighten,
otherwise the adjustment screw (28) might damage the tension wheel (31).
e Retighten the fixing screw (30) with a torque of 10 Nm.
Note! Do not make any adjustment on the lock nut (29).

3.1.12 Bi-parting operators
a Put doors in fully closed position. Make sure that the doors trailing edge is align with the side
light.
b Click the belt clamp (12) into position in the upper transmission bracket (26).
c Check door panels for proper centering in the fully closed and opened positions.

3.1.13 Attachment of slack reducer
Attach the slack reducer between the eighth and ninth belt tooth on each side of the low transmis-
sion bracket.
Note! If needed, the operators will be delivered with slack reducer springs.
Single doors
If the belt length is more than 4700 mm, there shall be one slack reducer.
Double doors
If the belt length is more than 5700 mm, there shall be two slack reducers.
In all other cases
In all other cases, then above, there will not be any slack reducers in the operator.
