1. GENERAL INFORMATION
This manual applies to the units produced starting from September 1st, 2016. Part of the information contained in this manual do not apply to
previously purchased units.
Please follow instructions to ensure proper functioning of the equipment.
The manufacturer declines all responsibility for any malfunctioning caused by failing to follow given instructions.
All packaging materials used are eco-friendly and recyclable. Please dispose properly of the packaging.
2. SAFETY
ELECTRIC SYSTEM
Check carefully that voltage matches the one shown on the product tag located on the last page of this manual and also inside the cabinet, right
side, underneath the panel that covers the technical tank. (Look at the following pictures A3 – A4).
A tolerance of +/- 6 % is allowed. It is very important to check the voltage level also during the appliance operation, keeping in mind that a lower
voltage than the allowed tolerance may cause serious damage to the system. Insert the plug in a monophase grounded socket, this socket must
be permanently accessible to allow the disconnection of the appliance at any time. Grounding is not only a safety standard but is also compulso-
ry by law.
The manufacturer declines all responsibility whenever this safety precaution standard is not observed.
Do not insert more plugs together when using extension cord. The plug must have sucient space from the back of the display and be on sight.
Donotsprayliquidsorammablegasesdirectlyinsideorneartheappliancewhenpluggedin.
Check the power cord for signs of wear or abrasion along the coating and make sure that the plug is not damaged. If the power cable is
damaged, require its immediate replacement to the manufacturer or to the service center. While moving the unit, please pay attention not to
squeeze or damage the power cord.
Do not touch the power plug with wet hands.
Failuretotakesuchaboveprecautionsmaycausedamagetopersonsorpropertiesduefromelectricshockorre.
If the appliance generates a strange noise, a burning smell, or smoke, unplug immediately the power plug and contact the service center.
If extraneous substances, such as water should penetrate in the appliance, unplug the plug from the socket and contact your service center.

This unit was designed and manufactured in compliance to current standards and all safety measures have been employed. However, residual
risk remains:

Do not use the appliance for other purposes than those for which they were designed and produced, and in general, dierently from as shown
in this manual. The appliance should not be used by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacity, unskilled persons or who lack
proper knowledge and children unless there is no one person responsible for their safety to provide them with proper supervision and instruc-
tion for use. Cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by children without the supervision of a responsible.
Keep the lock keys away from children and not near to the unit.

Keep packaging materials away from children; if a child puts his head in a plastic bag, he risks suocation and death. Do not allow children and

Do not make any changes or modications since a dierent conguration could result in damage to property or persons. Expo Srl cannot be
held liable for safety issues and damages resulting from such changes.
The warnings and safety instructions in this manual do not cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur, therefore it is the user’s
responsibility to use the appliance with common sense, paying the utmost attention and care during installation, maintenance and operation.
Since these instructions cover various product models, the characteristics of the purchased product may dier slightly from the ones described
in this manual.
3. INSTALLATION
If you have purchased the Parete Vino, please proceed with the installation as indicated in the“Installation instructions”delivered together with
the unit. The Teca is a product for free installation therefore do not require special assembly operations.
Forcorrectoperationtheunitshouldbeplacedinaplacefreeofexcessivemoisture,well-ventilatedandawayfromsourcesofheat,theambient
has to be with temperatures between 5 ° C and 30 ° C, avoiding exposure to direct sunlight, keeping it clean from dust or other sediments.
Any damage caused by failure of following these recommendations is not covered by the guarantee and is not in any way the manufacturer’s
responsibility.

It is also recommended to place the appliance so it can be used under NORMAL lighting conditions(dened as 200 LUX) E.D. 2006/42/EECE
Placethedisplayonaevenandatsurface,ifneededregulatethefourfrontandrearlevelingfeettogetaperfectlevel.Importantforitscorrect
functioning and to allow the doors to close properly it is essential that it is perfectly level.
The installation and any maintenance operation on the equipment must be performed by a qualied technician or a service center.
Never connect the plug to an ungrounded socket and always check that its grounding is conform to the applicable local rules.
Donotinstalltheapplianceinaplacesubjecttogasleaks.
Whenmoving,inordertopreventdamagetotheoor,makesurethelevelingfeetareraised.
The display should not be placed outside or exposed to direct sunlight.
Once placed in the nal position, leave the showcase turned o at least 4 hours, this reduces the possibility of malfunction of the refrigerating
system due to transport and handling.

• Thecompressorwillstartautomaticallyafterafewminutes,iftheunitisturnedoandimmediatelyturnedonagainorwhensettingtemper-
ature, the compressor stops and starts automatically after a few minutes
• Toconnectthelightsofthetopunit“B”ofthePareteVino,connectthecablesandbringtheexcessofthecableintothetechnicaltankofthe
lower unit“A”.
The central refrigeration system with which the unit is equipped (5.3) works with a ventilated condensation system. The ventilation - meaning
the hot air expulsion and the suck of the fresh ambient air - is carried out in the lower part of the display, exactly in the space where the 8 cm
feetareinstalled.ITISSTRICTLYFORBIDDENTOCLOSEOROBSTRUCTTHISSPACE.
Not following the above instruction, not only creates a signicant increase of consumption but can lead to serious malfunction or accident and
is considered as improper use, faulty installation or tampering and therefore will INVALIDATE THE PRODUCT WARRANTY.
Theupperunit(P*-VBR10)needsagreaterspacetoensuresucientaircirculation.
Failuretocomplywiththeabovesuggestioncouldaectthegoodoperationoftheunitandincreasetheelectricconsumption.
The showcase must be installed in order to allow easy movement for maintenance and cleaning operations.
4. USE AND MAINTENANCE
Warning: unplug the appliance before performing any maintenance or cleaning.
Do not store in the refrigerated display any product that requires strict controls of temperature such as medicines, scientic material or in general
all those products sensitive to slightest temperature variations.
The units for gastronomy or delicatessen products are showcases designed for refrigerated display and are not suitable for food storage. The
food must be kept inside for the period needed for presentation and sale.
If there is excessive condensation inside the showcase, turn o the appliance, empty it and wait for an hour. Dry the inside excess moisture and
leave the doors open. Leaving to much humidity inside may cause unpleasant odors and mold can develop.
Do not use wet sponges or spray cleaning products directly on the display. To clean, use a slightly moistened soft cloth or paper.
Do not clean the unit spraying water above it. Do not use aggressive chemical products, benzene or solvents as they may damage the unit.
WARNING : the maintenance operation must be performed exclusively by skilled technicians.
The refrigerating gas used are R134a - R404A - R600a.
To verify the type and quantity of gas used for each unit please check the label located underneath the internal aluminium lid (A4), the label on
the compressor or the lable on the conformity declaration shown at the bottom of this manual.
Regularly it may be necessary to clean the condenser with a brush, vacuum cleaner or blowing compressed air. It might be useful to remove the
fanthatisplacedabovecondenser.Thecleaningfrequencydependsonthesiteconditionsandinparticularbytheregularcleaningoftheoor
and can vary from 6 months to 2 years.
The condenser is located in the bottom base on the right lateral side (A5). To access the technical compartment follow the instructions below:

SETTING THE TEMPERATURE
To set the desired temperature press . The symbol willstartashing.Pressthekeys to set the temperature.
Press again the key to conrm your choice.
The temperature shown on the display is taken by the probe located inside the cabinet at the bottom of the central aluminum panels.
MANUALDEFROST
The product is equipped with an automatic defrost system, therefore no manual intervention is required.
If you wish to perform an additional manual defrost, press and hold for at least three seconds the key in order to stop the cooling for
fteen minutes. After this stop the appliance will run again the normal operation with the previously programmed temperatures.

The temperature controller of wine units can be set to dierent
temperatures with or without ventilation directly by the user,
allowing to choose the right conservation or service temperature
for all types of wine.
Please remember that the bottom part of the showcase is always
few degrees lower than the upper part, fact that has to be
considered when choosing the position of the dierent wines.
Reported temperatures are approximate and may vary by ( + - ) 2 ° C depending on the model chosen (Wine Showcase, Gastronomy, Delicatessen)

5.2 HEATED FRAME AND RAIL

This technical device solves the problem of condensation on the metal parts due to the dierence of temperature between the
inside of the showcase and the ambient temperature, especially in places with very high temperature and humidity.
It is very important to use this feature in tropical countries and marine locations because even a small presence of condense for long
periods may damage the external decorative coating of the showcase.
In locations with continental climate with normal temperature and humidity conditions it is not necessary to use this device. The
same goes for the showcase set at the storage temperature (+14 +16 °C).
The temperature controllers of all the showcases are blocked so that the user cannot set lower temperatures than those planned PARETE VINO
+3°C(excludingP*VBR10andCAR10-20+12°C)TECA+4°C(excludingTC10-20+12°C).Itisnotallowedtoenterthehiddenparameters
andmodifythesevalues.Theshowcasesarenotdesignedandbuilttooperateatlowtemperatures.Failuretocomplywiththisprovisionwill
invalidate the warranty.
If the display shows the warning light it shows that the temperature detected by the second probe placed on the condenser has exceed-
ed the safety limits set by the manufacturer. The reasons may be as follows:
• Thespaceatthebottomoftheunit(8cm)wasblocked,preventingtheairexchange.
• Theambienttemperatureandhumidityaretoohigh.
• Thecondenseriscompletelyblockedwithdust,compromisingtheventilation.Cleanitasindicatedinsection4.1.
TheunitP*-VBR10canbeusedforstoringwineorforkeepingatservingtemperatureonlyredwines.Youcannotsettemperatureslowerthan
the indicated one.
INSIDE VENTILATION
TheinternalfansofP*-VBR10unitsareconnecteddirectlytothegeneralswitch,theydonotneedtobeoperatedbytheuserandduringtheir
operation no warning light is shown on the display.

The refrigerated unit for chocolate always works with ventilated refrigeration and the controller does not have the keys and which
are not needed.
The inside humidity is always less than 45% thanks to the conformation of the aluminum panels covering the serpentine.
The moisture level cannot be set and is only viewable with a special controller OPT-TVU (optional).

The cooling serpentine 1and the internal fans 2are located in the middle of the cabinet between the aluminium panels.
The compressor 3, the horizontal condensing unit with the fan with pressing blade 4and the basin for the evaporation of
the condensation water 5are placed in a special lowered tank. With this solution, although installing a standard compressor,
the height of the base is limited (150 mm) since it is used the lower space where feet are located (80 mm). The circulation of the
condensation air is blown through the front bottom part.

6. DISPOSAL OF END-OF-LIFE EQUIPEMENT
In accordance with art.13 of Legislative Decree of 25 July 2005, n.151“Implementing Directives 2002/95/CE, 2002/96/CE and 2003/108/CE, concerning the
reduction of the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, as well as waste disposal”.
At the end of its life cycle the product must be disposed separately from other waste.
Illegal disposal of the product by the owner involves the application of administrative sanctions provided by law.
This product complies with D.E. 2002/96/CEE RAEE e 2002/95/CEE RoHS
The symbol on the product and manuals indicates that the product at the end of the life cycle should not be disposed with other waste.
To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health caused by the incorrect disposal of waste, the user is encouraged to give this product to
authorized persons in accordance with local regulations.
