1. Product Information
1-1 Product Introduction
DG-SC7100P-10 is a Speed Dome IP camera with 10x Optical Zoom. The speed dome
camera is designed in such a way making it an ideal solution for drop-ceiling mounting
for indoor applications. With its 360 degree continuous Pan and 180 degree Tilt, the
camera can monitor a larger area. The 10x optical zoom gives a detailed view of the
area under surveillance. With the latest H.264 compression standard, users can stream
high quality video at low bandwidth and storage capacity requirements. The IR cut
filter offers a true image quality during day/night operations. This IP camera has one
Digital input for receiving triggers from external device for notifying about an activity
in the area covered by the camera. It can also send a Digital output to an external
device, if the IP camera detects an activity.
DG-SC7100P-10 supports PoE, which helps in easy installation by eliminating the need
of a dedicated power source for the camera.
Other features of this Network IP Camera include:
360°Pan-tilt control, there is no dead spot that this dome camera can’t see.
Powerful 10x optical zoom.
Video output port - supports video output to other video devices or DVR. Video
output supports both NTSC / PAL video standard.
DI/DO (Digital input / Digital output) interface, you can connect to external
devices for remote control and automation.
Audio in-out interface provides audio communication capability.
No pre-installed software is required to view video and do the configuration, all
you need is network connection and a web browser.
3GPP Mobile Surveillance Supported.
ONVIF Compliant.
Supports IEEE802.3af power over Ethernet standard.

1-1 Safety Instructions
In order to keep the safety of users and your properties, please follow the safety
instructions as mentioned below. The warranty will become void if you disobey these
safety instructions.
1. This Network Dome Camera is a sophisticated electronic device; DO NOT drop it
from a height.
2. DO NOT place this dome camera at hot / humid places, and avoid direct sunlight.
3. Accessories of this IP Camera like power supply are dangerous to small children.
KEEPTHIS IPCAMERA OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
4. If you want to use this dome camera at places that may be spilled by water or dirt, a
secure and water-proof camera housing is required.
5. DO NOT pull any cord that is connected to this dome camera by force.
6. This camera will get heated up after being used for a long time. Refrain from
touching the dome camera with hand, or cover this dome camera with paper or
cloth.
7. Never connect powered cable to the dome camera’s DI/ DO contacts.
8. If the dome camera falls into water when powered, DO NOT attempt to retrieve it
back yourself. Find a qualified electrical technician for help.

1-5 Installation of the Network IP Camera
Please follow the below mentioned instructions to setup your new dome camera. To
mount the IP camera on the wall or ceiling, please refer to next section.
Please note: You may wish to fix the camera to the ceiling or wall before you connect
these cables.
1.Insert Ethernet cable to ‘Ethernet’ port located at the back of dome camera. The
other end of Ethernet cable should connect to your local area network.

2.Connect IO signal cable to IO port located at the back of dome camera.
You can skip this step if you don’t have external I/O devices to connect.

3.Use a RCA cable (not supplied in accessory kit) to connect ‘Video Out’ port, and
connect the other end of RCA cable to peripherals which support video input, like
DVR, VTR, or television.
You can skip this step if you don’t need to connect other video peripherals.

4. Connect audio cable to “Audio in-out” port located at the back of dome camera,
and connect the other end of audio cable to audio peripherals like amplifier or
microphone.
You can skip this step if you don’t want to use audio peripherals.
5. Insert the AC adapter to the power outlet on the wall.

6. Insert the other end of AC adapter to “DC 12V” located at the back of dome
camera.
If everything is correct, you should see the LED light next to the Ethernet port lit up. If
not, please recheck installation procedures listed above again. If you still cannot get
dome camera work, please contact your dealer of purchase for help.

1-6 Ceiling-mount / Wall-mount Installation
1.Use 3 screws (supplied with the package) to securely fix ceiling mounting bracket A
on the wall or ceiling.
2) When mounting on concrete wall / ceiling, please use supplied plastic plugs
to fasten screws in the wall / ceiling, never use screws alone.
avoid IP dome camera from falling down.
NOTE:
1) Please refrain from mounting the camera on a thin wooden wall / ceiling to

If you want to fix the IP dome camera to ceiling / wall plate, kindly perform the below
mentioned steps:-
a.Take ceiling mounting bracket B and draw a circle by pen or pencil along the inner
circle of mounting bracket B, then use appropriate tool to cut a hole on the wall /
ceiling plate.
b.Fasten mounting bracket A on the wall / ceiling.
c. Put mounting bracket B behind the wall / ceiling plate.
