1. Sicherheitshinweise
ACHTUNG!
inder jünger als 3 Jahre sind vom Gerät
fernzuhalten, es sei denn, sie werden ständig
überwacht.
ACHTUNG!
indern ab 3 Jahren und jünger als 8 Jahre
dürfen das Gerät nur ein- und ausschalten,
wenn sie beaufsichtigt werden oder bezüg-
lich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes un-
terwiesen wurden und die daraus resultie-
renden Gefahren verstanden haben.
Voraussetzung ist, dass das Gerät ist in sei-
ner normalen Gebrauchslage installiert ist.
ACHTUNG!
inder ab 3 Jahren und jünger als 8 Jahre
dürfen nicht den Stecker in die Steckdose
stecken, das Gerät nicht regulieren und keine
Wartungsarbeiten durchführen!
ACHTUNG!
inder sollten beaufsichtigt werden, um si-
cherzustellen, dass sie nicht mit dem Gerät
spielen.
ACHTUNG!
Wenn das Netzkabel beschädigt ist, muss es
vom Hersteller oder dessen undendienst-
vertretung oder einer vergleichbar qualifi-
zierten Person ausgetauscht werden, um
Gefahrenquellen auszuschalten!
ACHTUNG!
In die fest verlegte elektrische Installation ist
eine Trennvorrichtung vorzusehen mit min-
destens 3 mm ontaktöffnung, z. B. Siche-
rungsautomat.
ACHTUNG!
Vor Öffnen des Gerätes Strom- und Wasser-
zufuhr dauerhaft unterbrechen.
HINWEIS
i
Das Gerät ist nur zur Warmwasserbereitung innerhalb
geschlossener Räume geeignet.

Das Gerät darf nur von einer zugelassenen Fachkraft
installiert werden.
HINWEIS
i
Reparaturen und Eingriffe in das Gerät dürfen nur von
einem Fachmann oder dem undendienst ausgeführt
werden.
HINWEIS

Die aktuellen Vorschriften nach VDE 0100 Teil 701
müssen unbedingt beachtet werden.

Es ist empfehlenswert, für die Stromversorgung einen
eigenen Stromkreis vorzusehen.

Das Gerät muss zuverlässig an einen Schutzleiter an-
geschlossen sein.
HINWEIS

Ist das Gerät undicht, sofort Wasserzufuhr schließen
und Sicherung ausschalten. Störung nur vom Werks-
kundendienst oder einem anerkannten Fachhand-
werksbetrieb beheben lassen.
HINWEIS
i
Der eingesetzte Strahlregler ist regelmäßig von alk-
rückständen zu reinigen!

2. Technische Daten
3. Verwendung
Der Durchlauferhitzer eignet sich nur für eine Zapf-
stelle. Das Gerät sollte so nah wie möglich an dieser
montiert werden.
Das Gerät darf nur für die Erwärmung von Trinkwasser
im Haushalt und ähnlichen Zwecken innerhalb von
geschlossenen und frostfreien Räumen verwendet
werden.
4. Gerätemontage
Das Gerät kann als Untertischgerät oder als Über-
tischgerät (um 180° gedreht) eingesetzt werden.
HINWEIS
i
Das Gerät darf nur von einem Fachmann montiert und
in Betrieb genommen werden.
Gehäuseoberteil demontieren, dazu die obere
Schraube lösen und Gehäuse nach vorn heraus-
schwenken.
Bohrlöcher anzeichnen,
Befestigungslöcher bohren und Dübel einsetzen,
Schrauben eindrehen.

5. Elektroanschluss
Das Gerät nur an Wechselspannung-Spannung
gemäß den Angaben auf dem Typenschild anschlie-
ßen.
Es empfiehlt sich, für den Durchlauferhitzer
einen eigenen Stromkreis vorzusehen.
HW 35
Gehäuseoberteil wieder aufsetzen und festschrau-
ben. Der Durchlauferhitzer ist werksseitig mit einem
Netzkabel mit Stecker ausgestattet.
Stellen sie sicher, dass die Steckdose immer zugäng-
lich ist.
HW 55
Zuleitung durch die Leitungseinführung der Geräte-
rückwand einführen, zugentlasten und am lemmen-
block anschließen:
Phasen-Leiter auf lemme U,
Null-Leiter auf lemme N,
Schutzleiter auf PE-Symbol.
Gehäuseoberteil wieder aufsetzen und festschrau-
ben.
6. Wasseranschluss
ACHTUNG!
Der auf dem Typenschild angegebene maxi-
male Wasserdruck darf nicht überschritten
werden. Ist im Wasserzulauf ein Rückfluss-
verhinderer installiert, dann muss zwischen
Durchlauferhitzer und Rückflussverhinderer
ein Sicherheitsventil eingebaut werden.
HINWEIS
i
Die Bestimmungen Ihres Wasserversorgungsunter-
nehmens und DIN 1988 beachten.

Das Gerät kann zur Erwärmung von altwasser im
druckfesten oder drucklosem Betrieb eingesetzt wer-
den.
Schmutzfilter mit Durchflussreduzierer (A) auf den
altwasser-Einlaufstutzen aufsetzen.
Anschlussadapter (B) aufschrauben.
Dichtringe (C) aufsetzen.
Wasseranschluss (D) herstellen.
HINWEIS
i
Jedem Gerät liegt ab Werk ein Strahlformer bei, der
die Durchflussmenge bestimmt. Er ist auf die jewei-
lige Geräteleistung abgestimmt und ist in jedem Fall
am Auslauf der Wasserarmatur anstelle des vorhan-
denen Strahlformers zu montieren.
7. Erstinbetriebnahme
HINWEIS
i
Das Gerät vor dem Einstecken des Netzsteckers bzw.
vor dem Zuschalten der Sicherung unbedingt entlüf-
ten.
Wasserzulauf öffnen und Anschlüsse auf Dicht-
heit prüfen.
Warmwasserventil vollständig für 15 bis 30 Se-
kunden öffnen. Wasserstrahl muss gleichmäßig
und blasenfrei austreten.
Warmwasserventil schließen.
Netzstecker einstecken, Sicherung zuschalten.
Funktion des Gerätes prüfen.
8. Bedienung
Der Durchlauferhitzer arbeitet vollautomatisch.
Beim Öffnen der Auslaufarmatur schaltet er sich
selbsttätig ein und beim Schließen wieder aus.
Die maximal einstellbare Auslauftemperatur ist ab-
hängig von der Durchflussmenge und der Temperatur
des zufließenden altwassers.
HINWEIS
i
Die maximale Auslauftemperatur darf 55°C nicht
überschreiten. Es besteht die Gefahr der schnellen
Verkalkung.

9. Wartung
Das Gerät ist weitgehend wartungsfrei.
Gegebenenfalls den Schmutzfilter am altwasser-
Einlauf und den Strahlformer am Auslauf der Armatur
von einem Fachmann reinigen lassen.
10. Störungen
Das Gerät ist durch einen Sicherheitsbegrenzer vor
Überhitzung geschützt. Sollte dieser ausgelöst haben,
ist wie folgt vorzugehen.
Gerät vom Stromnetz trennen, z.B. Sicherungsau-
tomat abschalten.
Gehäuseoberteil demontieren, dazu die obere
Schraube lösen und Gehäuse nach vorn heraus-
schwenken.
Schraubendreher A in die Öffnung der Abschalt-
vorrichtung einführen und Rücksetzknopf drü-
cken. Gleichzeitig mit Schraubendreher B, wie im
Bild gezeigt, Verriegelung lösen.
Anschließend Gerät kräftig durchspülen, dazu
Warmwasser-Armatur für ca. 15 - 30 Sekunden
vollständig öffnen.
Gerät wieder mit Stromnetz verbinden.
11. Reinigung
Die Außenflächen können durch Abwischen mit
einem weichen, feuchten Lappen gereinigt werden.
Zur Reinigung keine Scheuerpulver oder Möbelpolitu-
ren verwenden, da diese die Oberfläche beschädigen
können. eine organischen Lösungsmittel verwen-
den.
12. Garantie
Für dieses Produkt übernehmen wir 2 Jahre Garantie
gemäß unseren Garantiebedingungen.
13. Entsorgung
Das Gerät darf nicht im allgemeinen Haus-
müll entsorgt werden. Bitte führen Sie das
Gerät am Ende seiner Lebensdauer den zur
Verfügung stehenden Rückgabe- und
Sammelstellen zu.

1. Safety instructions

Children younger than 3 years must be kept
away from the unit unless they are super-
vised at all times.

Children from 3 years and younger than
8 years may only switch the unit on and off if
they are supervised or have been instructed
regarding the safe use of the unit and have
understood the resulting dangers. The unit
must be installed in its normal position of
use.

8 years are not allowed to insert the plug into
the socket, regulate the unit or carry out any
maintenance work!

If the mains cable is damaged, it must be re-
placed by the manufacturer or its customer
service agent or a similarly qualified person
in order to eliminate sources of danger!
ATTENTION!
A disconnecting device with a contact open-
ing of at least 3 mm must be provided in the
permanently installed electrical installation.
e.g. circuit breaker.

Before opening the unit, permanently dis-
connect the power and water supply.

The unit is only suitable for hot water production in-
side closed rooms.

The unit may only be installed by an authorised spe-
cialist.

Repairs and interventions in the unit may only be car-
ried out by a specialist or the customer service.

The current regulations according to VDE 0100 part
701 must be observed.

The unit must be reliably connected to a protective
earth conductor.

If the unit is leaking, close the water supply immedi-
ately and switch off the fuse. Only have the fault recti-
fied by the factory customer service or a recognised
specialist workshop.

The aerator used must be cleaned regularly to remove
limescale residues!

3. Use
The instantaneous water heater is only suitable for
one tap. The unit should be mounted as close to this
as possible.
The unit may only be used for heating drinking water.
in households and similar purposes within closed and
frost-free rooms.
4. Device assembly
The unit can be used as an under-sink unit or as an
over-sink unit (turned by 180°).
NOTE
i
The unit may only be installed and put into operation
by a specialist.
Remove the upper part of the housing by loosen-
ing the upper screw and swinging the housing out
towards the front.
Mark the drill holes,
drill the attachment hEnglisholes and insert dow-
els,
screw in the screws.

5. Electrical connection
Only connect the unit to AC voltage according to the
specifications on the type plate.
It is recommended to provide a separate circuit
for the instantaneous water heater.
HW 35
Replace the upper part of the housing and screw it
tight. The instantaneous water heater is factory-
equipped with a mains cable with plug.
Make sure that the socket is always accessible.
HW 55
Insert the supply cable through the cable entry on the
rear wall of the unit, relieve the strain and connect it to
the terminal block:
Replace the upper part of the housing and screw it
tight.
6. Water connection
ATTENTION!
The maximum water pressure indicated on
the type plate must not be exceeded. If a
backflow preventer is installed in the water
inlet, then a safety valve must be installed
between the instantaneous water heater and
the backflow preventer.
NOTE
i
Observe the regulations of your water supply com-
pany and DIN 1988.
For the complete connection diagram, see page 6.
The unit can be used for heating cold water in pres-
surised or unpressurised operation.
Place the dirt filter with flow reducer (A) on the
cold water inlet connection.
Screw on the connection adapter (B).
Fit the sealing rings (C).
Make the water connection (D).
NOTE
i
Each unit is supplied ex works with a jet former that
determines the flow rate. It is matched to the respec-
tive unit output and must always be fitted to the outlet
of the water fitting instead of the existing jet former.
7. nitial commissioning
NOTE
i
Before plugging in the mains plug or before switching
on the fuse, be sure to bleed it.
Open the water inlet and check the connections
for leaks.
Open the hot water valve completely for 15 to 30
seconds. The water jet must emerge evenly and
without bubbles.
Close the hot water valve.
Plug in the mains plug, switch on the fuse.
Check the function of the unit.
8. Operation
The instantaneous water heater operates fully auto-
matically.
The maximum adjustable outlet temperature depends
on the flow rate and the temperature of the incoming
cold water.
NOTE
i
The maximum outlet temperature must not exceed
55°C. There is a risk of rapid calcification.

9. Maintenance
The unit is largely maintenance-free.
If necessary, have the dirt filter at the cold water inlet
and the jet former at the outlet of the tap cleaned by a
specialist.
10. Faults
The unit is protected against overheating by a safety
limiter. If this has been triggered, proceed as follows.
Disconnect the unit from the mains, e.g. switch off
the circuit breaker.
Remove the upper part of the housing by loosen-
ing the upper screw and swinging the housing out
towards the front.
Insert screwdriver A into the opening of the shut-
off device and press the reset button. At the same
time, release the lock with screwdriver B as shown
in the picture.
Afterwards, rinse the unit thoroughly. To do this,
fully open the hot water tap for approx. 15 - 30
seconds.
Reconnect the unit to the mains.
11. Cleaning
The outer surfaces can be cleaned by wiping with a
soft, damp cloth. Do not use scouring powder or furni-
ture polish for cleaning, as these can damage the sur-
face. Do not use organic solvents.
12. Warranty
We offer a 2-year guarantee for this product in ac-
cordance with our warranty conditions.
13. Disposal
The unit must not be disposed of in general
household waste. At the end of its service
life, please take the unit to the available re-
turn and collection points.

Un dispositif de déconnexion avec une ou-
verture des contacts d'au moins 3 mm doit
être prévu dans l'installation électrique per-
manente. par ex. disjoncteur.

Avant d'ouvrir l'appareil, coupez définitive-
ment l'alimentation en électricité et en eau.
