1. Foreword
We are delighted that you have chosen our product. This instruction manual contains important information
for proper and safe operation of the product.
Read the manual completely before using the product. Otherwise danger to persons and damage to
the product can occur. Please keep the instruction manual.
2. Basic facts about UV-C
Effective hygiene with UV-C! Microorganisms exposed to natural sunlight will be killed in a natural way.
According to this principle from nature, artificial UV-C light was developed many years ago.
UV-C light is short-wave radiation in the range of 280-100 nm, which is not visible to the human eye.
In the area of 254 nm, UV-C light has a strong germicidal effect, so even dangerous germs, bacteria,
viruses and mould spores will be destroyed within a short time without the use of chemicals. The DNA
of the microorganisms is changed in the core so that reproduction is no longer possible. This has the
consequence that the microorganisms die.
The ultraviolet light is therefore an economical and environmentally friendly alternative to chemical
disinfection.
The area of application is very diverse and almost unlimited: healthcare, food industry, water utilities, air
conditioning and ventilation systems, pharmaceutical industry, industrial hygiene, kindergartens, hotels,
offices, cooling and storage rooms and much more.
3. Product description
3.1 Air purifier UVG80
The Dinies Air Purifier UVG80 was specially designed for the disinfection of air for room sizes up to 40 m²
for bacteria/viruses and up to 15m² for mold/spores. Due to the complete shielding of the UV-C tube,
persons are able to stay safely in the room. By means of the built-in fan, the room air is guided past the
UV-C lamps, destroying the microorganisms present.
As a result, you have extremely effective, economical and environmentally friendly air purification.
Undesirable microorganisms, viruses, germs, yeasts and spores are destroyed up to 99.9% without the use
of chemicals. This series is available in three other power classes: UVG18, UVG120 and UVG360.

8.1.2 Lamp installation
1. For safety reasons it is recommended to wear gloves
2. Carefully insert the new lamp into the quartz tube and let about 5cm peek out (Figure 10)
3. Connect the cable connector to the lamp (Figure 9). The plug is reverse polarity protected and
works in both directions
4. Insert the lamp completely and attach the black cover cap (Figure 7 & 8)
5. Fasten the cover ring with spacing bolts (Figure 6)
6. Screw the round cover back onto the spacing bolts (Figure 5)
8.2 Other maintenance measures
• For maintenance and transportation, the equipment must always be unplugged.
• In order to avoid premature replacement of the lamps, severe shocks to the device should be avoided
(risk of breakage).
Regular maintenance
• Check air inlet before each use for dirt, if required remove with a vacuum cleaner.
• Replace the lamps every 12,000 hours of operation (approximately once per year).
• After about 16,000 hours, the lamp power is reduced to approximately 70%.
• Due to frequent movement of the device, the number of operating hours may be reduced.
