HOW DO I CLEAN MY PUFFIT-X?
The PUFFiT-X™ can be cleaned in the same way as the PUFFiT™ original model.
The fan is not in the vapor path and will not be damaged by the cleaning. Please
follow the cleaning procedure outlined here:

Please make sure you leave the unit to dry for a couple of hours before using it.
HOW DO I CHARGE MY PUFFiT-X™ VAPORIZER AND HOW LONG DOES IT
TAKE?
Simply plug your PUFFiT-X™ vaporizer in using the supplied wall charger. Standard
charging time will be 1 Hour* rapid charge using included AC adapter (*80% charge
in 1 hour, followed by 30-40 min trickle charge). It will not harm the battery to charge
it before a low battery warning! When in doubt… plug it in!
HOW MANY USES WILL I GET BETWEEN CHARGES?
Total uses vary with temperature settings and blend but you should get between 25-30
cycles on a full charge. Do not attempt to use your PUFFiT-X™ vaporizer while
charging. Always remove the charging cable before starting a vaporizer cycle.
WHAT DO THE SETTINGS 1-8 MEAN?
This is the temperature setting. Temperature ranges from 120°C (250°F) to 220°C
(430°F) refer to the instruction manual for more information.
MY PUFFiT-X™ VAPORIZER LIGHT IS FLASHING. WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
The flashing LED tells you what your PUFFiT-X™ vaporizer is doing. The LED
indicates low battery, heating, cooling, charging etc. Refer to the instruction
manual for a complete explanation.
IS IT NORMAL FOR THE ALUMINUM CAP OVER THE HEAT CHAMBER TO
HEAT UP?
Yes. The aluminum cap will get hot with prolonged use. A silicone heat guard is
provided to reduce the potential to overheat tender fingers but when in doubt, replace
the mouth cap and allow the PUFFiT-X™ vaporizer to cool!
HOW DO I FILL THE HERB CHAMBER?
Simply remove the aluminum top cap (gently twist and lift, DO NOT force it) and
lightly pack your favourite blend into the chamber. The best results are achieved with
dry, finely ground blend. Never put liquids, gels or concentrates in your PUFFiT-X™
vaporizer.
HOW DO I CLEAN MY PUFFiT-X™?
A cotton swab with a little rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol works very well. DO NOT
submerge the PUFFiT-X™ vaporizer or place it under running water. NEVER use a
knife or other hard sharp object as it can damage the heating chamber. We have
created a video that walks you through the process step by step.

WHAT ARE THE THREE EXTRA PLASTIC COVERS FOR?
Included mouth piece covers are made of food grade Polypropylene and are meant to
provide a clean surface for individual users (in case you want to share your vapor but
don’t want to share your germs). They also prevent contamination of USB socket and
temp wheel. They are washable and replaceable. Extras can be purchased from your
PUFFiT-X™ vaporizer retailer.
CAN I USE REGULAR TOBACCO WITH MY PUFFiT™ VAPORIZER?
Pipe tobaccos can be used.
IS THE BATTERY USER REPLACEABLE?
No, not in your PUFFiT-X™ model vaporizer. The integrated high power Lithium
battery is made from the latest, safest technology. With care and regular charging it
should last for years! Love your PUFFiT-X™ vaporizer? Charge it regularly!
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE MY PUFFiT-X™ VAPORIZER TO HEAT UP?
Heating Time depends on factors such as starting temp, type of blend, and
temperature setting but the initial heating cycle should take about 20-30 seconds.
Once warm, it should happen much quicker.
MY PUFFIT-X WON’T TURN ON. HELP!
Check the mouthpiece switch on the front of the unit under the vapor outlet. If it gets
stuck your unit will not activate. It should move in and out with an audible click.
Sometimes the new switches can be a bit stiff in the first few uses or they can get a bit
sticky on units that have been used but need a good cleaning. You can try to free it up
with your fingernail or by giving the PUFFiT-X™ a few gentle taps on a desktop.
Often the switch will just pop into the on position!
MY UNIT ISN'T PRODUCING VISIBLE VAPOR. AM I DOING SOMETHING
WRONG?
The PUFFiT™ line was not designed to be “big clouds” vaporizers. However, vapor
production can vary a lot depending on type of blend, moisture content, fineness of
grind etc. Temperature settings of 7-8 should provide noticeable vapor for just about
any blend. Be sure to really FILL the heat chamber. Most new PUFFiT-X™ vaporizer
owners underestimate how much material to put into the unit. Best results are
achieved from finely ground material PACKED firmly into the heat chamber.
MY PUFFIT-X™ FAN IS MAKING A STRANGE NOISE/ MY FAN HAS
STOPPED WORKING. WHAT DO I DO?
Sometimes this can be caused by a bit of debris getting caught inside. There's a really
easy fix! Give your PUFFiT-X™ a few sharp taps on a hard surface. This can free the
debris and the fan will often work again.
The other thing that might cause a high pitched noise is having the fan speed turned
very low. To change the fan speed, hold the top cap down then remove the
mouthpiece to turn the PUFFiT-X on. The fan will start to blow as long as you hold
the top cap down (and the light will flash red/green). Keep the top cap switch pressed
down and adjust the heat dial to adjust the speed of the fan. When you are happy with
the speed, simply release the cap switch and replace the mouth piece. This will store

the new fan speed setting. You can now change the heat dial back to the desired
temperature setting.
