Congratulations on purchasing your new DJI OSMOTM product. The information in this document
affects your safety and your legal rights and responsibilities. Read this entire document carefully
to ensure proper conguration before use. Failure to read and follow instructions and warnings
in this document may result in serious injury to yourself or others, or damage to your DJI OSMO
product or damage to other objects in the vicinity. This document and all other collateral
documents are subject to change at the sole discretion of DJI OSMO. For up-to-date product
information, visit http://www.dji.com and click on the product page for this product.
Do not modify or adjust the RONINTM-S.
The Ronin-S has been calibrated before it leaves the factory. No modication or adjustment of the
Ronin-S is required or recommended. Be sure to use the original battery, otherwise performance
may be hindered and internal malfunctions or damage may occur. Please download the
corresponding Assistant.
By using this product, you hereby signify that you have read this disclaimer and warning
carefully and that you understand and agree to abide by the terms and conditions herein. You
agree that you are solely responsible for your own conduct while using this product, and for any
consequences thereof. You agree to use this product only for purposes that are proper and in

Glossary
The following terms are used throughout the product literature to indicate various levels of
potential harm when operating this product:
NOTICE: Procedures, which if not properly followed, create a possibility of physical
property damage AND a little or no possibility of injury.
CAUTION: Procedures, which if not properly followed, create the probability of physical
property damage AND a possibility of serious injury.
WARNING: Procedures, which if not properly followed, create the probability of property
damage, collateral damage, and serious injury OR create a high probability of supercial injury.

Conrm that all parts listed in the In the Box manual are included in your box. Read the entire
User Manual and watch the informational and tutorial videos on the product page of DJI’s ofcial
website (http://www.dji.com/product/ronin-s). Read the disclaimers and warnings to understand
your legal rights and responsibilities. If you have any questions or problems during the installation,
maintenance or use of this product, please contact DJI OSMO or a DJI OSMO authorized dealer.

Download and install the Ronin app.
Search “Ronin” on the App Store and then follow instructions for iOS installation.
Search “Ronin” on Google Play and then follow instructions for Android
installation.
* Ronin app supports iOS 9.0 (or later) or Android 4.4 (or later).

Read the user manual to become familiar with the features of
this product before operating. Failure to operate the product
correctly can result in damage to the product, personal property, and cause serious
injury. This is a sophisticated product. It must be operated with caution and common
sense and requires some basic mechanical ability. Failure to operate this product in a
safe and responsible manner could result in injury or damage to the product or other
property.
This product is not intended for use by children without direct adult supervision. Do
not use with incompatible components or alter this product in any way outside of the
documents provided by SZ DJI OSMO TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. These Safety Guidelines
contain instructions for safety, operation and maintenance. It is essential to read and
follow all of the instructions and warnings in the user manual, prior to assembly, setup
or use, in order to operate the product correctly and avoid damage or serious injury.

Safety Guidelines
1. The Ronin-S is powered by a built-in battery through the grip. Read the warnings and
safety guidelines about the grip in the Ronin-S user manual before use. Users take full
responsibility for all operations and usage.
2. Should any of the components break, please contact DJI Support at once to avoid
further gimbal damage and risk of injury.
3. The Ronin-S has built-in high precision sensors. Dropping or striking it in any way
may cause permanent sensor damage, leading to abnormal functionality. Contact DJI
Support immediately if this happens.
1. Do not disassemble the Ronin-S or its accessories. Improper or poor handling could damage
the gimbal.
2. The Ronin-S's power/data ports are not waterproof. Be sure to protect them from harmful dust
and water during use, otherwise damage may occur.
3. Be sure to mount the gimbal rmly when using the Ronin-S in a high-speed situation.
1. The Ronin-S comes fully calibrated before delivery, and no further calibration is usually
required. Only calibrate the Ronin-S if you notice any kind of drift on any of the axes.
2. The motor can get hot after long operation times. Remain cautious and avoid touching it
where possible.
3. Do not obstruct the gimbal movements and avoid hurting your hand.

安全操作指引
1. Ronin-S 通过手柄内置电池供电。使用前请仔细阅读并严格遵守 DJI OSMO 在用户手册手柄
章节的要求以安全使用手柄。
2. 当云台部件出现破损时请联系 DJI OSMO 售后进行更换，避免系统工作异常或造成更严重的损
坏。
3. Ronin-S 内置高精度传感器，跌落或受外力撞击可能造成传感器损坏或校准失效，从而导致云
台工作异常。如出现跌落或撞击导致的异常情况，请立即联系 DJI OSMO 售后。
1. 请勿擅自拆解云台及相关配件，以免操作不当导致损坏。

3. 在车载等高速运动环境下使用 Ronin-S，请固定云台以确保安全。

Environmentally friendly disposal
Old electrical appliances must not be disposed of together with the residual waste, but have to be
disposed of separately. The disposal at the communal collecting point via private persons is for free.
The owner of old appliances is responsible to bring the appliances to these collecting points or to
similar collection points. With this little personal effort, you contribute to recycle valuable raw materials and
the treatment of toxic substances.
