1. Safety instructions
• Read and understand this manual before using the wood splitter.
• All users of this wood splitter must have read and understood the safety instructions, the
user manual and the maintenance instructions as well as the storage instructions before
use. Improper use of the product can result in injuries and accidents to the user or
bystanders, due to moving parts, flying objects, leaks from the hydraulic system and fire.
One must pay particular attention to the following things:
Cutting and crushing risk
Moving parts can pinch or cut hands and fingers, as well as other body parts. Therefore, keep
your hands away from the end plate, the splitting head and the entire splitting area when working
with the machine.
Risk due to high pressure hydraulics
High-pressure hydraulics develop heat, which can be felt in different places on the hydraulics
and the splitter. Hydraulic spills can occur and one can get penetration of oil into the skin which
can result in a blood poisoning. Therefore, check regularly that there are no leaks in the
hydraulic system. Never check for leaks with your hands, but use a cloth, safety glove or
cardboard to check with. If you get oil in your body, seek medical attention immediately.
Fire risk
Include a fire-fighting container in the event of a fire in a forest or other fire-hazardous materials.

could result in death or serious injury. They indicate hazards that are exposed
when guards are removed. They can also be used to warn against unsafe
methods.
NOTE! Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in
minor or moderate injury. It is also stated to warn against unsafe methods.
Using the machine without regard to the symbols may result in damage or damage to
the product.
About your new wood splitter
This hydraulic wood splitter has a strong steel construction and 22 tons of piston force. When
the machine is to be operated, you must use an approved outdoor electrical energy supply if it is
the model with electric motor. The model with a petrol engine must be in the fresh air and the
operator must be away from the engine exhaust.
The machine is designed to work only in a horizontal position. It is easy to pull, operate and
maintain. Never exceed the nominal capacity of 22 tons when operating the wood splitter.
The wood splitter is designed to split wood up to 54 cm in length.
WARNING
The wood splitter uses a high-pressure hydraulic system and makes a very strong pressure
when splitting tree. Therefore, read the manual very carefully before using the wood splitter so
that you are familiar with the operation and safety precautions.
Follow all safety recommendations!

• Serious injury, accident or death can occur if you do not follow the instructions carefully. Anyone
using this clover must have read and understood the safety rules, instructions, and maintenance
instructions beforehand. You must be 16 years or older to use the tree clover. Untrained people
should be kept away from the wood splitter and the engine should be turned off before leaving the
wood splitter.
2.) Collision damage.
• The weight of this product can, if you get in a pinch, press legs, cut fingers, ribs and other body
parts. Therefore, keep your hands away from the pressure unit itself - both the one sitting on the
cylinder and when it is sitting at the other end of the clover. Danger can also occur
and accidents if there are other people around one inside the work area. So be sure to keep
others away from the work area. Do not wear loose clothing or other parts that can get caught
in the moving parts of the clover and only use the wood splitter in daylight.
3.) Flying objects
• Pieces of wood can come flying when using the wood splitter, so wear safety goggles
to avoid serious eye damage.
4.) Skin infection
• The high pressure on the clover can - if the oil enters the body - lead to infection. Therefore, make
sure that the fittings, hoses and valves are intact, that there is nothing leaking. It is important to
remember to take the pressure off the hydraulic system before maintaining and repairing the
machine. But do not check the oil with your fingers, take some paper or cardboard so that the body
does not come into contact with the oil. If you get anything on your body, seek medical attention.
5.) Risk of pulling the clover.
Serious injury or death can occur if you do not follow the following rules.
• Read and repeat the safety rules that apply and are described for the vehicle.
• Drive safely and pay attention to the extra length the vehicle gets with the clover afterwards.
• Never sit on the clover and never have things on the clover when it is being transported.
• The splitter must be clamped with a split and locked to the vehicle pulling.
• Stop the vehicle before leaving the clover unattended.
• Choose a safe and even place to use the clover.
• Block the wheels to ensure that it does not move unnoticed.
• Do not use the vehicle if you are under the influence of alcohol, drugs or drugs.

6.) Risk of fire and explosion
• Hot exhaust can start a fire. Gasoline is a highly flammable liquid and also explosive, and one
can get very burned or get serious injuries when using fuel. Therefore, always seek a few
meters away from the engine when it is hot Before putting fuel in the tank, stop the engine and
allow the heat to drop. Also remove the spark plug so it does not
can start accidentally. Never refuel when the engine is hot or running. Smoking is not permitted near
the engine. Do not refuel directly from the engine at a gas station. That way of refueling triggers a
fire hazard. Use a safe and approved fuel canister when transporting it to the clover. Spilled petrol is
wiped up immediately.
• Only store and handle fuel outdoors. Fuel can ignite indoors and is very unhealthy. Do not change
or add anything to the exhaust system as it may result in fire and do not change or add another
tank or fuel as it may result in fire. Before using the clover, check the fuel tank for leaks. All leaks
are a hazard. Repair any damage before starting the engine. During transport, make sure that the
wood splitter cannot tilt, so that the engine leaks petrol or oil.
7.) Inhalation hazards
• Toxic fumes from the engine can kill you. Do not use the engine indoors unless there is
very heavy ventilation.
NOTE: Hot exhaust.
You may be burned if you touch the
exhaust.
