1. Make sure each en

ine comes with a firewall mountin

plate
drilled with fou

holes fo

#10 size screws.

firewall where the firewall is lar

ine plate.
3. In order to make sure the en

ine does not speed excessivel

without a positive control installed, throttle return sprin

must be left in place.

ou have connected the return sprin

to the throttle
servo

ou ma

unhook it(do not remove it), since it acts as
a spacer for the butterfl

should be mounted externall

cowl, at least twelve inches from the receiver o

throttle servo
that connects to the receiver.
6. The carburetor needs at least 1 1/2"

between the intake and the bottom of the cowl. If there is less
than 1 1/2", make an openin

intake diameter.

1. Fill the tank with fresh filtered fuel.
2. Insure that

set to low.
3. Close the choke and turn on the i

nition switch.
4. Rubber stick is recommended to start the en

ine.

Keep the en

ine run at idle for 60 seconds. Insure that the
idle RPM to be constant. If the low needle

is too rich, it

Check the transition with a quick throttle advance. It should
sound like it is makin

power.

fuel runs out and clean it.

soon after.
Solution:
The low needle on the carbureto

sure the en

ine is mounted on a level surface so that crankcase
is free of tension.
