1 Safety instructions
DDANGER! Failure to obey these warnings will result in death or serious injury.
Electrocution hazard
• On boats: If the device is powered by the mains, ensure that the power supply has a
residual current circuit breaker (RCCB) or a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI).
Installation, especially in potentially damp areas, must be in accordance with all appli-
cable installation regulations.
• Do not touch exposed cables with your bare hands. This applies especially when
operating the device from the AC mains.
• Before starting the device, ensure that the power supply line and the plug are dry.
!WARNING! Failure to obey these warnings could result in death or serious
injury.
Electrocution hazard
• Do not operate the cooling device if it is visibly damaged.
• If the cooling device's power cable is damaged, it must be replaced with a suitable
power cable or assembly available from the manufacturer or its service agent to pre-
vent safety hazard.
• This cooling device may only be repaired by qualified personnel. Improper repairs
can lead to considerable hazards.

• Plug the device to sockets that ensure proper connection especially whenthe device
needs to be earthed.
Fire hazard
• When positioning the device, ensure the supply cord is not trapped or damaged.
• Do not locate multiple portable socket-outlets or portable power supplies at the rear
of the device.
• Keep the ventilation openings on the device housing or in installations free of
obstructions.
• Do not use any mechanical objects or other means to speed up the defrosting pro-
cess, unless they have been recommended by the manufacturer for this purpose.
• Do not open or damage the refrigerant circuit.
• Do notuse electrical devicesinside thecooling deviceunless they are recommended
by the manufacturer for that purpose.
Health hazard
• This device can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowl-
edge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the device
in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children aged from 3 to 8 years are allowed to load and unload cooling devices.
• Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
• Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by unsupervised children.
Explosion hazard
• Do not store any explosive substances such as spray canswith a flammable propellant
in the cooling device.
!CAUTION! Failure to obey these cautions could result in minor or moderate
injury.
Electrocution hazard
• Before starting the cooling device, ensure that the power supply lineand the plug are
dry.
• Disconnect the cooling device from the power supply
– Before each cleaning and maintenance
– After every use
Health hazard
To avoid contamination of food, observe the following
instructions:
• Check if the cooling capacity of the device is suitable for storing the food to be
cooled.
• Food may only be stored in its original packaging or in suitable containers.
• Opening the cooling device for long periodsof time can cause significant increase of
the temperature in the compartments of the device.

• Clean regularly surfaces that can come in contact with food and accessible drainage
systems.
• If the device is left empty for long periods:
– Switch off the device.
– Defrost the device.
– Clean and dry the device.
– Leave the lid open to prevent mold developing within the device.
ANOTICE! Damage hazard
• Check that the voltage specification on the data plate corresponds to that of the
energy supply.
• Only connect the cooling device as follows:
– With the DC connection cable to a DC power supply in the vehicle
– Or with the AC connection cable to an AC power supply
• Never pull the plug out of the socket by the cable.
• If the cooling device is connected to a DC outlet, disconnect the cooling deviceand
other power consuming devices from the battery before connecting a quick
charging device.
• If the cooling device is connected to a DC outlet, disconnect the cooling device or
switch it off when turning off the engine. Otherwise the battery may be discharged.
• The cooling device is not suitable for transporting caustic materials or materials con-
taining solvents.
• Do not place the cooling device near naked flames or other heat sources (heaters,
direct sunlight, gas ovens etc.).
•Risk of overheating!
Ensure at all times that there isa minimum of 50 mm ventilation onall sides of the cool-
ing device. Keep the ventilation area free of any objects that could obstruct the air
flow to the cooling components.
Do not use or store the cooling device in closed compartments or areas with none or
minimal air flow.
• Do not fill the inner container with ice or fluids.
• Never immerse the cooling device in water.
• Protect the cooling device and cables against heat and moisture.
• The device shall not to be exposed to rain.
2 Intended use
The cooling device is suitable for cooling food. The cooling device is designed to be operated from a DC on-board
power supply of a vehicle or boat, from a DC auxiliary battery or from an AC power supply.
The cooling device is suitable for camping use.
The cooling device is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as
• Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments
• Farm houses

This product is only suitable for the intended purpose and application in accordance with these instructions.
This manual provides information that is necessary for proper installation and/or operation of the product. Poor
installation and/or improper operating or maintenance will result in unsatisfactory performance and a possible fail-
ure.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for any injury or damage to the product resulting from:
• Incorrect assembly or connection, including excess voltage
• Incorrect maintenance or use of spare parts other than original spare parts provided by the manufacturer
• Alterations to the product without express permission from the manufacturer
• Use for purposes other than those described in this manual

3 Operation
3.1 Saving energy
• Choose a well ventilated location which is protected from direct sunlight.
• Allow warm food to cool down first before placing it in the cooling device to keep cool.
• Do not open the cooling device more often than necessary.
• Do not leave the cooling device open for longer than necessary.
• If the cooler has a basket: For optimal energy consumption, position the basket according to its position on
delivery.
• On a regular basis, make sure the lid seal still fits properly.
3.2 Operating
To avoid food waste, note the following:
• Keep temperature fluctuation as low as possible. Only open the cooling device as often and for as long as nec-
essary. Store the foodstuff in such a way that the air can still circulate well.
• Adjust the temperature to the quantity and type of the foodstuff.
• Foodstuff can easily absorb or release odor or taste. Always store foodstuff covered or in closed contain-
ers/bottles.

einem Kundendienst durch ein geeignetes Netzkabel oder eine geeignete Einheit
ersetzt werden, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
• Reparaturen an diesem Kühlgerät dürfen nur von Fachkräften durchgeführt werden.
Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen können erhebliche Gefahren entstehen.
• Schließen Sie das Gerät an eine Steckdose an, die einen geeigneten Anschluss
sicherstellt, insbesondere wenn das Gerät geerdet werden muss.
Brandgefahr
• Achten Sie beim Aufstellen des Geräts darauf, dass das Netzkabelnicht eingeklemmt
oder beschädigt wird.
• Platzieren Sie keine Steckdosenverteiler oder tragbare Stromversorgungen hinter

schen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung
und/oder Wissen verwendet werden, wenn diese Personen beaufsichtigt werden
oder im sicheren Gebrauch des Geräts unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultie-
renden Gefahren verstanden haben.
• Kinder von 3 bis 8 Jahren dürfen Kühlgeräte be- und entladen.
• Kinder sollten beaufsichtigt werden, um sicherzustellen, dass sie nicht mit dem Gerät
spielen.
• Reinigung und Pflege dürfen nicht von Kindern ohne Beaufsichtigung durchgeführt
werden.

Gesundheitsgefahr
Befolgen Sie folgende Hinweise, um eine Verunreinigung von Lebensmitteln zu vermei-
den:
• Prüfen Sie, ob die Kühlleistung des Geräts den Anforderungen der Lebensmittel ent-
spricht, die gekühlt werden sollen.
• Lebensmittel dürfen nur in Originalverpackungen oder geeigneten Behältern gela-
gert werden.
• Ein längeres Öffnen des Kühlgeräts kann zu einem erheblichen Anstieg der Tempe-
ratur in den Fächern des Geräts führen.
• Reinigen Sie regelmäßig Oberflächen, die mit Lebensmitteln in Kontakt kommen
können, sowie zugängliche Ablaufsysteme.
• Wenn das Gerät über längere Zeiträume leer bleibt:
–SchaltenSiedasGerätaus.
– Tauen Sie das Gerät ab.
– Reinigen und trocknen Sie das Gerät.
– Lassen Sie den Deckel offenstehen, um Schimmelbildungim Gerät zu verhindern.
AACHTUNG! Beschädigungsgefahr
• Prüfen Sie, ob die Spannungsangabe auf dem Typenschild mit der vorhandenen
Energieversorgung übereinstimmt.
• Schließen Sie das Kühlgerät nur wie folgt an:
– mit dem Gleichstromkabel an die Gleichstromversorgung im Fahrzeug
– oder mit dem Wechselstromkabel an das Wechselstromnetz
• Ziehen Sie den Stecker nie am Anschlusskabel aus der Steckdose.
• Wenn das Kühlgerät an eine Gleichstromsteckdose angeschlossen ist, trennen Sie
das Kühlgerät und andere Verbraucher von der Fahrzeugbatterie, bevor Sie ein
Schnellladegerät anschließen.
• Wenn das Kühlgerät an eine Gleichstromsteckdose angeschlossen ist, trennen Sie
das Kühlgerät oder schalten Sie es aus, wenn Sie den Motor abstellen. Sonst kann die
Batterie entladen werden.
• Das Kühlgerät ist nicht für den Transport ätzender oder lösungsmittelhaltiger Stoffe
geeignet.
• Stellen Sie das Kühlgerät nicht in der Nähe von offenem Feuer oder anderen Wärme-
quellen (Heizung, direkte Sonneneinstrahlung, Gasherde usw.) auf.
•Überhitzungsgefahr!
Sorgen Sie dafür, dass auf allen Seiten des Kühlgeräts jederzeit ein Belüftungsab-
stand von mindestens 50 mm eingehalten wird. Halten Sie den Belüftungsbereich
frei von jeglichen Gegenständen, die den Luftstrom zum Kühlaggregat behindern
könnten.
Verwenden oder lagern Sie das Kühlgerät nicht in geschlossenen Räumen oder
Bereichen ohne oder mit nur geringer Belüftung.
• Füllen Sie keine Flüssigkeiten oder Eis in den Innenbehälter.
• Tauchen Sie das Kühlgerät nie in Wasser.

• Das Gerät darf keinem Regen ausgesetzt werden.
2 Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Das Kühlgerät eignet sich zum Kühlen von Lebensmitteln. Das Kühlgerät ist für den Betrieb an einem Gleichstrom-
netz eines Fahrzeugs oder eines Boots, an einer Gleichstrom-Hilfsbatterie oder an einem Wechselstromnetz aus-
gelegt.
Das Kühlgerät ist für den mobilen Einsatz geeignet.
Das Kühlgerät ist für den Einsatz im Haushalt und ähnliche Anwendungen vorgesehen, wie
• Personalküchen in Geschäften, Büros und anderen Arbeitsumgebungen
• Landwirtschaftliche Gebäude
• Hotels, Motels und andere wohnungsähnliche Einrichtungen
• „Bed and Breakfast“ u. ä.
• Catering und ähnliche Anwendungen außerhalb des Einzelhandels
Dieses Produkt ist nur für den angegebenen Verwendungszweck und die Anwendung gemäß dieser Anleitung
geeignet.
Dieses Handbuch enthält Informationen, die für die ordnungsgemäße Installation und/oder den ordnungsgemä-
ßen Betrieb des Produkts erforderlich sind. Installationsfehler und/oder ein nicht ordnungsgemäßer Betrieb oder
eine nicht ordnungsgemäße Wartung haben eine unzureichende Leistung und u. U. einen Ausfall des Geräts zur
Folge.

3 Betrieb
3.1 Energie sparen
• Wählen Sie einen gut belüfteten und vor Sonneneinstrahlung geschützten Stellplatz.
• Lassen Sie warme Speisen erst abkühlen, bevor Sie sie im Gerät kühl halten.
• Öffnen Sie den Kühlschrank nicht häufiger als nötig.
• Lassen Sie den Kühlschrank nicht länger offen stehen als nötig.
• Wenn das Gerät über einen Korb verfügt: Um einen optimalen Energieverbrauch zu erreichen, positionieren
Sie den Korb auf die gleiche Weise wie bei der Auslieferung.
• Prüfen Sie in regelmäßigen Abständen, ob die Dichtung des Deckels noch richtig sitzt.
3.2 Bedienung
Um Lebensmittelverschwendung zu vermeiden, beachten Sie bitte Folgendes:
• Halten Sie Temperaturschwankungen so gering wie möglich. Öffnen Sie das Kühlgerät nur so oft und so lange
wie nötig. Lagern Sie Lebensmittel so, dass die Luft immer noch gut zirkulieren kann.

• Passen Sie die Temperatur der Menge und Art der Lebensmittel an.
• Lebensmittel nehmen leicht Gerüche auf und geben Gerüche oder Aromen ab. Lagern Sie Lebensmittel daher
stets abgedeckt oder in geschlossenen Behältern bzw. Flaschen.

4 Garantie
Es gilt die gesetzliche Gewährleistungsfrist. Sollte das Produkt defekt sein, wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Fach-
händler oder die Niederlassung des Herstellers in Ihrem Land (siehe dometic.com/dealer).
Bitte senden Sie bei einem Reparatur- bzw. Gewährleistungsantrag folgende Unterlagen mit dem Produkt ein:
• eine Kopie der Rechnung mit Kaufdatum
• einen Reklamationsgrund oder eine Fehlerbeschreibung
Bitte beachten Sie, dass eigenständig oder nicht fachgerecht durchgeführte Reparaturen die Sicherheit gefährden
und zum Erlöschen der Garantie führen können.
5 Entsorgung

hof vor Ort oder bei Ihrem Fachhändler, wie dies gemäß den geltenden Entsorgungsvorschriften
zu tun ist.
➤Das Produkt kann kostenlos entsorgt werden.
➤Geben Sie das Verpackungsmaterial möglichst in den entsprechenden Recycling-Müll.

Risque d’électrocution
• Sur les bateaux : Si l’appareil est alimenté sursecteur, assurez-vous que l’alimentation
dispose d’un disjoncteur différentiel ou d’un disjoncteur de fuite à la terre. L’installa-
tion, en particulier dans les zones potentiellement humides, doit être conforme à
toutes les réglementations applicables.
• Ne touchez pas les câbles dénudés à mains nues. Cela est surtout valable en cas de
fonctionnement sur secteur.
• Avant de mettre l’appareil en service, assurez-vous que la ligne d’alimentation élec-
trique et le connecteur sont secs.
