Recommendations
EN
• DRV20 is designed for indoor household use only.
• DRV20 is designed for a maximum surface area of 100m2.
• DRV20 needs a headway of at least 5.8 cm so that it can go under
furniture.
• DRV20 can go over threshold strips of a maximum thickness of
1cm, otherwise it automatically stops or reverses.
• DRV20 is designed for routine oor cleaning. It is not intended to
replace heavy-duty cleaning.
• DRV20 must be used on at surfaces.
• If the robot could come across a gap while cleaning, please check
that the gap sensors are clean.
• DRV20 is not designed to vacuum water or other liquid products.
• Do not use the appliance on damp oors.
• DRV20 must only be recharged using its home base. Make sure
that the temperature of the room it is charging in is between
15°C and 35°C.
• Please switch the appliance o before handling it (manually
moving it, maintenance, storing it away).
• The remote control requires 2 x LR03-type batteries (AAA)
(supplied with the robot).

Charging
Assembling the home base
Plug in the home base using the power cable.
Place the home base on a level surface next to a wall,
at a right angle to the oor. Keep a distance of at
least 2 m in front of the base and 1 m at either side.
NOTE: When the DOMOOVA DRV20 robot is on its home base, make sure that the
robot is switched on and the home base power light is on.

Switching the robot on
Charging the battery
The battery is charged by the appliance’s home base. When the robot
is charging, the home base power indicator light is continuous red.
The robot’s battery is charged when the home base power indicator
light ashes quickly (Figure 1).
Press the ON/OFF button located on top of the robot. The indicator
light is continuous blue. The appliance is ready to charge.

NOTES:
• Before using the robot for the rst time, you must charge it for 6 to 8 hours. It
will only need to be charged for between 3 and 4 hours thereafter.
• While charging, the robot switches to stand-by after a few minutes. However,
the battery continues to recharge. Check the status of the home base indicator
light.
• Once on the home base, when the battery has completely run out, the robot’s
ON/OFF indicator light is red. It is pink when the battery is half charge. Blue
when the battery is full.
• When the robot is on its home base, the home base power light is green.
• If the battery is weak while the robot is cleaning, it returns to its home base.
The home base must therefore be switched on (Figure 1).
• If the robot is not used for a long period of time, you are recommended to fully
charge the battery, switch o the robot and store it in a cool, dry place.

Cleaning modes
Side brush fastenings
Attach the side brushes underneath the appliance to enable the
robot to perform an eective cleaning cycle. Make sure the brushes
are in the right space. The engraved letters R and L on the brushes
and the robot are there to guide you.
Installing the dust bin
Open the dust bin cover and then put the bin in the corresponding
space using its carry handle. Make sure the dust bin fastening groove
in the robot is lined up. Close the bin cover again.

Installing the cleaning pad
A cleaning pad can be attached under the robot to deep clean hard
oors in the home.
Place the cleaning pad on its support (Figure 1). Attach the support
underneath the robot using the grooves provided (Figure 2). Start
the robot.
NOTE: The cleaning pad can be used dry or be slightly moistened with the oor
detergent of your choice.
Starting the appliance
Press the appliance’s ON/OFF button to take it o standby. The
robot’s indicator light is continuous blue. Press a second time to start
a cleaning cycle. The robot starts its cleaning cycle in AUTO mode.
NOTES:
• If the robot is on standby, press the ON/OFF button on the robot to start a
cleaning cycle.

• You can start a cleaning cycle from the remote control using the AUTO button
or one of the cleaning route buttons.
• It is possible to interrupt the robot’s cycle using the ON/OFF button on the ap-
pliance or AUTO on the remote control and manually guide it using the arrow
buttons on the remote control.
• For correct operation of the remote control, make sure you insert the AAA bat-
teries provided beforehand.
Scheduling the robot
With the schedule feature, the robot can start a cleaning cycle at the
time you choose every day of the week.
Press the appliance’s ON/OFF button to take it o standby. Point the
remote control at the appliance and press the Scheduling button.
3 beeps can be heard and the ON/OFF button ashes red. The ro-
bot then starts a cleaning cycle in Random Mode. The robot is now
scheduled to automatically start every day of the week at the time
when you performed the scheduling.
Repeat the previous steps to cancel the scheduling. The robot beeps
3 times and the ON/OFF button ashes blue.
NOTES:
• At each scheduled start, the robot starts in Random Mode.
• When the appliance’s scheduling is activated, the indicator light of the ON/OFF
button is red.
• When scheduling is disabled, the ON/OFF light is blue.
• To start a scheduled cleaning cycle, the robot must be on its home base and its
battery must be fully charged.

Cleaning routes
The robot has ve cleaning routes. These routes can be selected
using the remote control. It is also possible to select the AUTO
mode directly from the appliance using the ON/OFF button. During
a cleaning cycle, the robot works until its battery runs out (i.e. a
cleaning cycle of about 100 minutes). It then automatically returns
to recharge on its home base.
AUTO mode
With the AUTO mode, the robot alternates its route during the
cleaning cycle.
In Random Mode the robot makes random movements automatically
going around the obstacles it nds during its cleaning cycle. This
mode is good for covering large spaces quickly.

This mode is the most eective when cleaning a particularly dirty
area. With SPOT mode, the robot will move in a spiral to concentrate
vacuuming over an area with a diameter of 2.5 m. Once it has returned
to its starting point, the robot moves a few meters and starts again,
until the battery runs out.
SPOT mode
This mode eciently cleans dicult to reach areas, i.e. edges, along
walls, skirting boards, around objects and corners.
EDGE mode

If you wish to charge the robot at any time during operation, you can
do so by pressing the “Home Base” button on the remote control.
The robot will automatically go back to home base after searching
(search time depends on the distance between the home base and
if there are any objects along its route).
NOTES:
• When the robot performs a cleaning cycle, its ON/OFF light ashes blue.
• To switch from one cleaning mode to another, you have to put the robot on
pause, and then select the desired cleaning mode.
Pausing the appliance
To pause the robot, press the ON/OFF button on the robot or AUTO
on the remote control.
NOTE: After a few minutes, the robot’s ON/OFF light goes o. For the robot to
resume its cycle press the ON/OFF or AUTO button twice.

Stopping the appliance
When the robot nishes its cleaning cycle, it goes back to home
base. To manually stop the robot, press the ON/OFF button on
the robot or AUTO on the remote control. After a few minutes, the
robot’s light goes o.
NOTES:
• When the robot is stopped, you can wake it at any time using the ON/OFF or
AUTO button.
• If the robot is not used for a long period of time, you are recommended to
remove the battery and store it in a cool, dry place.

Side brushes
Unclip the side brushes by gently pulling them upwards and run
them under clean water. Dry side brushes well before reusing them.
The left brush is marked with an "L" and the right brush is marked
with an "R". The engraved letters on the side brushes and the robot
are there to guide you.
NOTE: Side brushes must be replaced if you notice that their original shape has
changed.
Side wheels and castor
Wipe the side wheels with a dry cloth to remove built up dust.
Firmly pull the castor or use a slotted screwdriver to remove it from
its frame and wipe it clean. Remove the axle that holds it in place and
remove any debris wrapped around. Then clean inside the castor’s
cavity using a soft cloth.
Compartments and lters
Dust bin
You should empty the dust bin every time the robot completes a
cleaning cycle. Remove the robot's dust bin using its carry handle
and empty it by opening the cover using the notch on the side. Then
check that there is no debris obstructing the robot's vacuum system.
Filters
Open the dust bin to access the lters. Pull upwards rmly to remove
the lters from their housing.
Carefully shake the lters to release them from the dust particles.
