4. Registering (Pairing) Headset for cellular phones with Bluetooth Headset profile.
■ Registering Headset with Dongle.
DOFree Headset and Dongle are paired at the factory.
However, there are instances where you will need to pair the Headset and Dongle (such
as using the Headset after pairing it with a Bluetooth cellular phone, etc.). To pair the
Headset with the Dongle, follow these steps:
• Turn off the Dongle(Audio Gateway) and the Headset by pressing the Talk button(☎)
until the LED stops flashing.
• Once the power is off, first press and hold the Talk button(☎) of the Headset again until
the LED turns on a solid light, not blinking light. And then press the ON/OFF button of the
Dongle(Audio Gateway), and press the Control button of the Dongle(Audio Gateway)
using a pen or sharp pencil until the LED turns on a solid light, not a blinking light.
• Release the button once the LED starts to flash. It will take several seconds for the
Headset and Dongle(Audio Gateway) to pair.
• When pairing is completed, the LED lamps on both the Headset and Dongle(Audio

Gateway) will flash with short burst every 2 to 3 seconds, indicating the stand-by mode.
※ IMPORTANT NOTICE: To reduce battery consumption, the Headset and Dongle(Audio
Gateway) will automatically switch to “stand-by”mode after 30 seconds from the end of
an operation. You will notice this by the LED’s short flashes on both the Headset and
Dongle(Audio Gateway). Once in “stand-by”mode, there will be instances where it will
require a few extra moments for the Headset and Dongle to “wake up” and recognize
each other to communicate, resulting in a momentary delay for the product to actually
become active. This is not a defect.
This is designed to prolong battery life and enable you to talk for a longer period of time.
