Quick Start Guide
BVP - Video access control Panel
1Entering Administrator mode
The default Administrator Password is 999999. To enter the
administrator mode, do the following
*9 9 9 9 9 9 # (Flashing LED Bell button)
2Entering Public original Password
The Public original password is set by default to 123456.
This will grant access by doing the following

3Changing Administrator password
a) Enter Administrator mode (see 1)
b) Enter "0" to make administrator changes
c) Enter “77” for administrator password location and
press “#”to confirm
d) Enter new 6 digit administrator password and press
“#” to confirm
e) Re-enter new 6 digit administrator password and
press “#”to confirm
f) Press "*"to finish programming
Example: 0 77 # XXXXXX # XXXXXX # *
4Changing Public Original Password
a) Enter Administrator Mode (see 1)
b) Enter "0" to make administrator changes
c) Enter "11" for public original password
location and “#”to confirm
d) Enter new 6 digit Public password and press
“#” to confirm
e) Re-enter new 6 digit public password and
press “#”to confirm
f) Press “*”to finish programming
Example: 0 11 # XXXXXX # XXXXXX # *
5Perform a factory reset
a) Enter Administrator Mode (see 1)
b) Enter “0” to make administrator changes
c) Enter “99” for factory reset location and “#”
to confirm
d) Enter “*”to finish programming
Example: 0 99 # *
6Adding Card
a) Enter Administrator Mode (see 1)
b) Enter “1” for adding card location
c) Enter "001” - “199” for card location and
“#” to confirm
d) Present card
e) Press “*”to finish adding card
f) Go back to step b) to add more cards or
press “*”to finish programming

7Deleting a user (Missing Card)
a) Enter Administrator Mode (see 1)
b) Enter “2” for deleting a user location
c) Enter location number of missing card and press
“#” to confirm
d) Press “*”to finish deleting user
e) Go back to step b) to delete more userss or press
“*”to finish programming
Example: 2 YYY # * *
8 Deleting a user (Card present)
a) Enter Administrator mode (see 1)
b) Enter “2” for deleting a user location
c) Present Card
d) Press “*”to finish deleting user
e) Go back to step b) to delete more users or press
“*” to finish programming
Example: 2 PRESENT CARD * *
9 Delete All Users
a) Enter Administrator Mode (see 1)
b) Enter “2” for deleting a user location
c) Press “88” for all users and “#” to confirm
d) Press “*”to finish programming
Example: 2 88 # *
10 Changing Unlock Time
a) Enter Administrator Mode (see 1)
b) Enter “4” for unlock time location
c) Enter “01” –“99” for number of seconds and “#” to
confirm
d) Press “*” to finish programming
Example: 4 05 # * (Door unlocked for 5 seconds)
11 Change Pin Using Card
a) Enter *
b) Read Card
c) Enter old pin (Default is “0000” and “#” to
confirm
d) Enter new pin and “#” to confirm
e) Re-enter new pin and “#” to confirm
Example: * READ CARD ZZZZ # NNNN # NNNN #
Note: to do this, you do not need to be in Administrator mode, but
you need a card which has been added as described in step 6
12 Choosing Unlock Modes
There are 3 Unlock modes that can be used to gain
entry. And here are how to choose the appropriate
one
a) Enter Administrator Mode (see 1)
b) Enter “3” for unlock mode location
c) Enter
1. “00” for card only
2. “01” for card or pin
3. “02” for card and pin
And press “#” to confirm
d) Press “*”to finish programming
Example: 3 00 # * (For card only)
