Installation
Allmänt
Detta multifunktionella hörhjälpmedel består av två enheter. En sändarenhet som upptar ljudet vid dess källa
och sänder det via en trådlös digital kanal (Bluetooth) till mottagarenheten. Genom att använda sändar- och
mottagarenheten minskas effektivt andra störande ljud från omgivningen. Det är enkelt att placera sändaren vid
t.ex en radio, TV eller annan utrustning och sedan kunna justera ljudvolymen på mottagaren utan att behöva höja
på källan.
Mottagarenheten går även att använda till annan Bluetoothkompatibel ljudutrustning (t.ex mobiltelefon, dator).
Bluetoothfunktionen fungerar inte på samma sätt på alla utrustningar vilket kan medföra att headsetet inte
fungerar korrekt till alla typer av utrustningar.
Mottagarenheten kan samtidigt vara registrerad på sändarenheten och en mobiltelefon.
Inkoppling
1. Anslut den medföljande nätadaptern till eluttaget.
2. Anslut nätadaptern till laddningsuttaget i respektive enhet och ladda i minst 4 timmar (laddningsindikatorn
slocknar vid fullt laddat batteri).
3. Registrera mottagaren enligt kapitlet Registrering.
Registrering
Mottagarenheten registreras automatiskt med sändaren, men måste manuellt registreras med den mobiltelefon
den skall användas med. Den automatiska registreringen sker genom att man slår på enheterna ungefär samtidigt
(indikatorn blinkar kort).
Se Användningmedmobiltelefonhur man registrerar/parar med mobiltelefon.
Av-/påslagning
Slå av enheterna genom att föra reglaget 0/Itill läge I.
Slå på enheterna genom att föra reglaget 0/Itill läge 0.
Volymkontroll
Ljudstyrkan kan under användning justeras genom att föra upp eller ned. För reglaget upprepade gånger upp
eller ner för att höja eller sänka volymen.

Tonkontroll
Ändra frekvensomfång/ljudbilden genom att ändra diskant/bas med genom att föra reglaget upprepade gånger
upp eller ner.
Batteri
När batteriet är fullt uppladdat räcker det till cirka 8 timmars ljudöverföring. Tiderna förutsätter normal
rumstemperatur. En normal uppladdning med tomt batteri tar cirka 4 timmar.
Enheterna har inbyggdladdningsautomatik vilket medför att batterierna inte kan bli överladdade eller ta skada av
att ligga "för länge" på laddning.
Under laddning lyser indikatorn grönt. När batteriet är fulladdat släcks indikatorn.
Batteriet är fast monterat och utbyte av detta kan endast ske på serviceverkstad.
Räckvidd
I normal miljö är räckvidden cirka 5-50 meter. Räckvidden varierar beroende på om radiovågorna som överför
samtalet begränsas av hinder på vägen.
Maximal räckvidd förutsätter att det är helt fritt mellan de båda enheterna.
Vid användning med mobiltelefon begränsas räckvidden av mobiltelefonen till cirka 8 meter.
Setill att antennerna är utsträckta för bästa resultat.

Användning
Sändarens inbyggda mikrofon gör att HearPlus 325a lämpar sig väldigt bra för användning i miljöer med störande
omgivning eller om avståndet till ljudkällan är långt (5-50 meter). Hörlurar måste kopplas till mottagarenheten,
men sändaren kan antingen använda den inbyggda mikrofonen eller kabelanslutas mot diverse ljudkällor.
Följande kapitel beskriver olika användningssätt av HearPlus 325a.
Förberedelse

Viktigt!
Tänk på att vissa utrustningar stänger av de vanliga högtalarna när man ansluter något till hörlursuttaget. Detta kan
göra att andra i samma rum ej hör något ljud. Gör enligt nästa beskrivning för att avhjälpa detta.

Användning, TV (anslutning via scart-uttag)
Bra att använda vid lyssning på TV och själv kunna justera ljudvolymen. Detta sätt tar bort allt eventuellt störande
ljud från omgivningen och ger andra som lyssnar på teven möjlighet att justera volymen.
1. Utför enligt Förberedelse.
2. Placera sändaren nära teven och anslut den med den medföljande scartadaptern till tevens scartuttag och
stereokabeln (3.5 mm) till sändaren. Normalt skall AV2 användas på teven.
3. Justera volym- och ton efter behov.
Viktigt!
Tevens scartuttag nns normalt på baksidan. Scartadaptern har dubbla uttag så att andra enheter kan kopplas på
samma scartkontakt.
Användning med mobiltelefon
Registrering
Mottagarenheten måste manuellt registreras med den mobiltelefon den skall användas med. Se i mobiltelefonens
manual hur man registrerar/parar ett Bluetooth-headset.
För att sätta mottagaren i registreringsläge, gör enligt följande beskrivning.
1. Se till att laddaren är urkopplad och att mottagaren är påslagen, se Av-/påslagning.
2. Tryck rakt in och håll intryckt i cirka 3 sekunder.
3. För uppåt och håll där i cirka 3 sekunder. Släpp , den högra indikatorn börjar nu blinka långsamt.
4. Följ den andra utrustningens manual för registrering/parning av Bluetooth-enhet/headset, mottagaren visas
4321då/om utrustningen
efterfrågar detta.
5. När registreringen har lyckats blinkar indikatorn (kort) grönt ungefär var fjärde sekund.
Viktigt!
Registreringläge varar i cirka 3 minuter.
Om registrering med mobitelefon skulle misslyckas, gör om steg 1-5.

Attsvara
Se telefonens manual hur mottagning av samtal fungerar, nedan förklaras det vanligaste förfarandet.
1. Invänta ringsignal.
2. Det inkommande samtalet besvaras genom att trycka .
3. Avsluta samtalet med telefonens nedkopplingsknapp.
Automatisk besvaring av samtal kan aktiveras genom att trycka fyra gånger. Deaktivering görs genom att trycka
fyra gånger till.
Observera!
Hörlurar måste alltid vara kopplat till mottagaren för att kunna höra.
Se till att mottagarens inbyggda mikrofon inte är övertäckt av klädesplagg eller annat vid samtal.
Används mottagaren tillsammans med sändaren för att lyssna på TV eller annan ljudkälla, slås den automatiskt
över till telefonläge vid ett inkommande samtal. Efter avslutat samtal kopplas mottagaren över till sändaren igen.
Tillsammans med vissa telefoner måste man utföra en anslutning igen.
Användning med annan ljudutrustning
Bluetooth-USBadapter, handdatorer, MP3-spelare och audioutrustning med Bluetooth-adapter. Registrering i
utrustningen av mottagaren måste alltid ske innan användning. Mottagaren fungerar på olika sätt tillsammans
med olika ljudutrustningar, se manualen till den ljudutrustning du avser att använda headsetet till.
Observera att ljudutrustningen skall vara A2DP-kompatibel för att fungera korrekt.

Övrigt
Använda andra headset
Det går bra att använda andra typer av headset, men det är rekommenderat att använda headset med 32 Ohms
impedans. Det går även bra att använda magnetiska headset för användning med hörapparat i T-läge.
Felsökning
Ingenkontaktmeddenandraenheten
- Kontrollera att batterierna är uppladdade.
- Kontrollera att enheten är registrerad, vid behov utför registreringen på nytt, se registrering.
- Kontrollera att enheterna är innanför dess räckvidd.
- Kontrollera att Bluetooth är aktiverat på den andra enheten (Mobiltelefon).
Dåligtljudkvalitéimottagarenvidanvändningmedsändaren
- Kontrollera mottagarensvolymkontroll/tonkontroll samt volymkontrollen på den andra enheten.
- Kontrollera att inget hindrar signalen mellan sändare och mottagare.
Lågt/högtljudimottagarenvidanvändningmedtelefon
- Kontrollera mottagarensvolymkontroll samt volymkontrollen på den andra enheten.
- Nivån på utgående och inkommande ljud kan variera beroende på vilken typ av telefon headsetet används till.
Motpartenklagarpålågtljud
- Se till att mottagarens mikrofon är fri och inte täcks av klädesplagg, smuts och liknande.
Ingenringsignalimottagaren
- Tillsammans med vissa mobiltelefoner ringer det inte i mottagaren.
- Tillsammans med vissa mobiltelefoner kopplas bluetooth-länken ner då headsetet inte använts på ett tag.
Om HearPlus 325a trots ovanstående åtgärder inte fungerar, tag kontakt med det inköpsställe där apparaten köpts
för service. Glöm ej inköpskvitto/fakturakopia.

Installation
General
This multifunctional assistive listening device consists of two units. One transmitter unit that intercepts the sound
at its source and transmits it via a wireless digital channel (Bluetooth) to the receiver unit. The use of transmitter
and receiver units effectively reduces other unwanted sounds from the surroundings. It is simple to place the
transmitter by e.g. a radio, TV or other equipment and then you are able to adjust the sound volume in the receiver
without needing to adjust the source.
The receiver unit can also be used with other Bluetooth-compatible audio equipment (e.g. mobile phone, computer).
The Bluetooth function does not work in the same way on all equipment, which may mean that the headset will
not work correctly with all types of equipment.
The receiver unit can be registered to the transmitter unit and to a mobile phone at the same time.
Connection
1. Connect the mains adapter supplied to the electrical socket.
2. Connect the mains adapter to the charging socket in each unit and charge for at least 4 hours (the charging
indicator will go out when the battery is fully charged).
3. Register the receiver as detailed in the Registration section.
Registration
The receiver unit is registered automatically to the transmitter, but must be registered manually to the mobile
phone with which it is to be used. The automatic registration occurs when you turn on the units at about the same

Turning Off/On
Turn the units off by moving the 0/Icontrol to the Iposition.
Turn the units on by moving the 0/Icontrol to the 0position.
Volume control
The volume can be adjusted during use by moving up or down. Move the control up or down a number of
times to turn the volume up or down.

Tone control
Change the frequency range/sound level and quality by changing treble/bass with by moving the control up or
down several times.
Battery
When the battery is fully charged it will last for approximately 8 hours’ sound transmission. These times apply at
normal room temperature. A completely discharged battery will take about 4 hours to fully recharge.
The units have an inbuilt automatic charging mechanism that prevents the batteries from being overcharged or
damaged due to prolonged charging.
While charging is in progress the indicator will shine with a green light. When the battery is fully charged the
indicator light will go out.
The battery is permanently attached and can only be replaced at an authorised service centre.
Range
In normal environments the range will be approx. 5-50 metres. The range varies depending on whether the radio
waves transmitting the call are restricted by obstacles along the route.
Maximum range requires unobstructed transmission between the two units.
When using with a mobile phone the range of the mobile phone is limited to approximately 8 metres.
Make sure the antennas are extended for the best result.

Use
The transmitter’s inbuilt microphone makes HearPlus 325a eminently suitable for use in environments with a lot
of noise or where there is a long distance to the audio source (5-50 meter). Headphones must be connected to the
receiver unit, but the transmitter can either use the inbuilt microphone or be connected by cable to various audio
sources.
The next section describes various ways to use HearPlus 325a.
Preparation
1. Separate transmitter and receiver and connect headphones (or equipment with a telecoil circuit) to the receiver.
2. Turn on both units.
Using for conversation
Very useful for: Meetings, seminars, at home, in the car....

Bear in mind that stereo sound cannot be received in this position. Follow the next description for complete Hi-Fi

Using with TV (connection via headphone socket)
Very useful for listening to the TV, radio or stereo and being able to adjust the volume yourself. This method
removes all unwanted noise from the surroundings.
1. Set up as described in Preparation.
2. Place the transmitter close to the audio source and connect it with the stereo cable supplied (3.5 mm, middle
picture above) to the audio source’s headphone socket. Use the adapter if necessary 3.5-6.3 mm, right picture
above.
3. Adjust volume and tone as required.
Important!
Bear in mind that some equipment will turn off the ordinary speakers when you connect something to the headphone
socket. This will mean that others in the same room will no longer hear any sound. Follow the next description to
rectify this.

Using with TV (connection via scart socket)
Very useful for listening to the TV and being able to adjust the volume yourself. This method removes all
unwanted noise from the surroundings and gives others listening the possibility to adjust the volume.
1. Set up as described in Preparation.
2. Place the transmitter close to the TV and connect it with the scart cable supplied to the TV’s scart socket and
the stereo cable (3.5 mm) to the transmitter. Normally AV2 should be used on the TV.
3. Adjust volume and tone as required.
Important!
The scart socket is normally located on the back of the television. The scart adapter has double sockets so that other
units can be connected to the same scart outlet.
Using with a mobile phone
Registration
The receiver unit must be registered manually to the mobile phone with which it is to be used. The mobile phone’s
user guide will show you how to register/match a Bluetooth headset.
To set the receiver in register mode follow these instructions.
1. Check that the charger is disconnected and that the receiver is switched on (see Turning Off/On).
2. Press straight in and hold for approximately 3 seconds.
3. Move upwards and hold there for approximately 3 seconds. Release ; the indicator to the right will now
4. Follow instructions in the other equipment’s user guide for registration/matching of a Bluetooth unit/headset.
The receiver will be shown as OdicioHS1 in the equipment’s display (where there is one). Then enter the
receiver’s code 4321if the equipment asks for it.

Registration mode lasts for about 3 minutes.
If registration to a mobile phone should not succeed, repeat steps 1-5.

Makingacall
See the telephone manual for how to make a call; the most common procedure is explained below.
1. Enter the desired number.
2. Press the call button on the telephone.
3. End the call with the phone’s disconnect button.
Redialfunction
When used with certain mobile phones you can redial. This is not possible when using active sound equipment.
Press . The last number dialled will now be redialled.
Receivingacall
See the telephone manual for how to receive a call; the most common procedure is explained below.
1. Wait for ring signal.
2. The incoming call is answered by pressing .
3. End the call with the phone’s disconnect button.
Automatic answering of calls can be activated by pressing four times. To deactivate, press four more times.
Please note!
Headphones must always be connected to the receiver to be able to hear.
Make sure that the receiver’s inbuilt microphone is not covered by clothing or suchlike during calls.
If the receiver is being used with the transmitter to listen to the TV or other audio source, it will automatically switch to
telephone mode when there is an incoming call. When a call is nished, the receiver will switch back to the transmitter
again. When used with certain mobile phones a reconnection has to be made (please refer to the telephones user
manual).
Using with other sound equipment
The headset can be used with most Bluetooth-compatible sound equipment, such as laptops, computers with
Bluetooth USB adapter, handheld PCs, MP3 players and audio equipment with Bluetooth adapter. Registration of
the equipment to the receiver must always occur before use. The headset will function in different ways depending
on the sound equipment being used, see the manual for the sound equipment you intend to use with the headset.
Note that the sound equipment must be A2DP compatible in order to work properly.

Other
Using other headsets
It is possible to use different types of headset, but we recommend the use of headsets with 32 Ohms impedance. It
is also possible to use magnetic headsets for use with hearing aids in T mode.
Troubleshooting
Nocontactwiththeotherunit
- Check that the batteries are charged.
- Check that the unit is registered, if necessary repeat the registration procedure, see Registration.
- Check that the units are within their range.
- Check that Bluetooth is activated on the other unit (mobile phone).
Poorsoundqualityinthereceiverwhenusingwiththetransmitter
