HandleEasy 321rc är en lättskött fjärrkontroll med stora
knappar.
Batterier
HandleEasy behöver tre stycken 1,5 V batterier typ AAA.
När batterierna är på väg att ta slut blinkar indikatorn tre
gånger efter varje knapptryckning. Använd endast batterier
av hög kvalitet. Sätt i batterierna enligt markeringarna för
plus- respektive minuspol under luckan på baksidan.
Programmering av knappar
För att HandleEasy skall fungera till din utrustning behöver
den "lära sig" vilka signaler som skickas av utrustningens
fjärrkontroll. HandleEasy kan också "lära sig" signaler
från era utrustningars fjärrkontroller, t. ex.kanalbyte från
dekoderns och ljudvolym från tevens fjärrkontroller.
1. Håll både ON och OFF intryckta cirka 3 sekunder.
Indikatorn tänds med fast sken (om ingen knapp trycks
inom 10 sekunder avbryts inlärningsläget).
2. Tryck önskad knapp på HandleEasy. Indikatorn blinkar en
gång.
3. Rikta utrustningens fjärrkontroll mot HandleEasy på
ungefär 2-10 cm avstånd och tryck motsvarande knapp.
Indikatorn blinkar två gånger på HandleEasy vid lyckad
inlärning. Vid fel blinkar den 6 gånger. Vid behov, håll
utrustningens knapp intryckt upp till 10 sekunder för att
lyckas med inlärningen.
Gör om steg 2 och 3 för varje knapp eller om inlärningen
misslyckas.
Gör om steg 1 till 3 om en knapp behöver ändras.
Håll både ON och OFF intryckta tills indikatorn slocknar
för att avsluta inlärning eller vänta 10 sekunder.
Programmering, knapp med dubbelsignal
Vissa fjärrkontroller skickar olika signaler vid varannan
knapptryckning, dubbelsignal. Om du märker att
HandleEasy endast fungerar ibland eller hoppar dubbla
steg är det troligt att originalfjärrkontrollen använder en
dubbelsignal. Gör enligt följande beskrivning för att lära
HandleEasy denna dubbelsignal.
1. Håll både ON och OFF intryckta cirka 3 sekunder.

inlärning. Dubbelsignalen är nu inlärd.
Gör om steg 2-5 för varje knapp med dubbelsignal eller om
inlärningen misslyckas.
HandleEasy är nu klar för användning.
Håll både ON och OFF intryckta tills indikatorn slocknar för
att avsluta inlärning eller vänta 10 sekunder.
Felsökning
Om HandleEasy endast fungerar ibland eller hoppar
dubbla steg måste programmering av dubbelsignal göras.
Vid programmering av dubbelsignal måste två inlärningar
i rad lyckas per knapp för korrekt funktion.
Misslyckas inlärningen trots upprepade försök:
• Prova längre eller kortare knapptryckningar på
utrustningens fjärrkontroll (1-10 sekunder).
• Prova olika avstånd och vinklar mellan fjärrkontrollerna.
• Byt batterier i utrustningens fjärrkontroll.

Programming buttons
In order for HandleEasy to work together with your equipment, it
must be ‘taught’ the signals that are sent from the remote control of
the equipment. HandleEasy can also be taught the signal of other
remote controls from different equipment i.e. channel browsing
from the TV and audio volume from the stereo.
1. Keep the ON and OFF buttons depressed for about 3
seconds. The indicator will show a steady light (if no button
is depressed within 10 seconds, the learning mode will be
cancelled).
2. Press the desired button on HandleEasy. The indicator will
ash once.
3. From a distance of approx. 1 in. to 4 in., point the remote
control of the equipment towards HandleEasy (so that the
signal points of both remote controls are facing each other)
and press the corresponding button. If HandleEasy was
successful in learning the signal, the indicator will ash
twice. If there is an error, the indicator will ash six times. If
necessary hold down the button of the equipment for up to
10 seconds to succeed with the learning.
4. After pairing wait for 10 seconds before testing the
programmed button or hold down the ON and OFF buttons
until the indicator goes out.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each button, or if the learning fails.
Repeat steps 1 and 3 if a button needs to be altered.
Programming, button with double signal
Certain remote controls send different signals every other
time a button is pressed, a double signal. If you experience that
HandleEasy only works now and then or jumps double steps
it is likely that the original remote control utilizes a double
signal. To teach HandleEasy this double signal, follow the
instructions below.
1. Keep both ON and OFF depressed for about 3 seconds. The
indicator will show a steady light (if no button is depressed
within 10 seconds, the learning mode will be cancelled).
2. Press the desired button on HandleEasy. The indicator will
ash once.

3. From a distance of approx. 1 in. to 4 in., point the remote
control of the equipment towards HandleEasy and press
the corresponding button. If HandleEasy was successful in
learning the signal, the indicator will ash twice. If there is
an error, the indicator will ash six times. If necessary hold
down the button of the equipment for up to 10 seconds to
succeed with the learning.
4. Press the same button on HandleEasy once again. The
indicator will ash once.
5. Press the corresponding button on the remote control of
the equipment once again. If HandleEasy was successful
in learning the signal, the indicator will ash twice.
HandleEasy has now learned the double signal.
Repeat steps 2 to 5 for each button utilizing a double signal,
or if the learning fails. HandleEasy is now ready for operation.
Keep both ON and OFF depressed or wait 10 seconds to exit
learning mode.
Troubleshooting
If HandleEasy only works now and then or jumps double
steps, you must program it to utilize a double signal.
Two consecutive learnings per button must be successful,
when programming a double signal.
If learning fails even after repeated attempts:
• Try longer or shorter (1-10 seconds) press of the button on
the remote control of your equipment.
• Try different distances or angles between the remote
controls.
• Try replacing the batteries in the remote control of the
equipment.
