WARNING
Do not operate without attaching the blades and the guard to the main unit.
CAUTION
• Firmly attach the guard and the blades to the main unit before inserting
the power plug in the outlet.
• Be careful to avoid injury from the edges of blades.
Blade maintenance
Disassemble the front grille before maintenance of the internal blades of the
main unit. The operation requires two persons (one person holds and the other
disassembles). Do not apply excessive force to the main unit.
Removal of Front Grille and Blades
1. While one person holds the rear grille and the arm and pole, the other
person rotates the entire front grille to the left.
If you try to turn only the front grille, it will apply force to the arm, etc., and may
cause damage or malfunction.
2. When the front grille can’t be rotated any farther, pull the entire front
grille off.
Pull out the front grille as a whole while holding the left and right sides of the arm
in place.
3. Hold the blades and turn the blade-mount spinner to the right to remove
the blades.
The blade-mount spinner has a structure that is the reverse of normal: turn it to the
right to remove it, and turn it to the left to attach it.
Tips for removal of front grille
[If it is a large fan, please separate the base from the fan]
• Keep the fan facing up, and pinch the lower part of the fan with your
legs.
• Wet your fingers or wrap your hands with a thin wet towel, and hold the
outer ring of the front grille to prevent it from slipping.
• Rotate the front grille counterclockwise.
• Rotate the outer ring of the front grille about 2cm to open the lock.
• Lift the front grille upwards to remove it.
*Please take care to prevent staining your clothes.
Assembly of the blades/front grille
1. Align the pin-notch of the blades with the pin at the base of the motor shaft
and attach the blades.
2. While holding the blades in place, turn the blade-mount spinner to the left
to secure the blades firmly.
3. Align the
▽marking of the rear grille to the notch of the front grille and
push the front grille into the rear grille.
4. While holding the rear grille and the arm and pole in place, rotate the entire
front grille to the right.

5. Confirm that the notch of the front grille and the notch of the rear grille are
aligned.
There will be abnormal noise if the front grille is not locked.
Storage Method
• Fully dry it after maintenance.
• Put it in a plastic bag, then put it in the packaging box, and store it in a
dry place free of moisture.

Troubleshooting
WARNING
This product can be disassembled and repaired by qualified repair
technicians only.
Please check if the product has any of the following symptoms before
sending it for repair.
Problem Primary Cause Solution
Blades won’t turn • The blades are not
correctly installed.
• The blades are hitting
the grille.
Install blades and grilles properly as
described on page 18 “Assembly
of the blades/front grille”.
• DC plug disconnected
from the DC jack.
Plug DC connector firmly into the
DC jack (see page 7)
• Power plug
disconnected from the
outlet.
Reinsert the power plug (see page
7)
Operation stops
suddenly
• Unit was left on for 12
hours and the auto-off
function activated (see
page 11)
Press the Power button on the
main unit or remote control to turn
on the power.
The lamps of the
Control panel are
dark. (Air volume
lamp, Timer lamp,
Natural/sleep wind
lamp)
• Dimmer mode is set.
(see page 10)
Press the Dimmer button to cancel
the Dimmer mode function.
Loud noise when fan
is on
• The blades are
installed incorrectly.
• The blades are hitting
the grille.
• The grille isn’t installed
properly.
Install the blades and grilles
properly as described on page
18 “Assembly of the blades/front
grille”
• The blade-mount
spinner is loose.
Tighten the blade-mount
spinner as described on page 18
“Assembly of the blades/front
grille”.
After pressing the
Up/Down Swing
button, it takes some
time for the up and
down movement to
begin.
• This is not a
malfunction. (see page
10).
After the angle is
adjusted manually, it
takes time for the Up/
Down Swing function
to begin operating.
If it bothers you that the
movement doesn’t start right away,
use the Up/Down Swing button
