Introduction/Safety instructions
Several functions can be programmed by
our service tec nicians to suit t e
customer's requirements.
Different payment systems can be
attac ed to t e dispenser.
T e dispenser is to be installed on a
table. If t e dispenser is used for a
purpose ot er t an t at indicated in t ese
instructions, t e manufacturer is not liable
for any damage.
T e dispenser can be delivered wit
several options. (see c apter Options)
T e Service Tec nician can c ange t e
dispenser over for t e additional delivery
of café cool, iced cappuccino, iced c oco
(optional).
Before putting t e dispenser into
operation, read t e c apter Safety
Instructions.
INTRODUCTION
T e dispenser is to be used for t e
delivery of ot beverages suc as coffee,
decaf, tea or lactiferous beverages (e.g.
cappuccino, café au lait, milk or beverages
containing cocoa).
For t e delivery of espresso, cappuccino
or a lactiferous beverage, a mixer is
required w ic is available as an option.
Beverages can be delivered on t e rig t
and left- and side. In t e middle only ot
water can be delivered.
T e dispenser can be used to fill cups,
pots, small pots or pump-action t ermos
flasks.
T e dispenser is used wit liquid
beverage concentrates (suc as coffee,
decaf, tea, milk or a cocoa containing
beverage) in non-returnable packs.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Before putting t e dispenser into
operation, t e operating instructions
must be read and understood.
T e dispenser s ould not be
installed outside.
T e dispenser must be placed
w ere it can be looked after by
trained personnel.
T e dispenser s ould not be installed
on a surface near to w ere jets of
water are used (e.g. for cleaning).
After t e dispenser as been
installed, t e power supply plug
must be accessible.
• Rinse t e dispenser before putting into
operation for t e first time (see c ap.
Maintenance)
T e liquids delivered by t e
dispenser are very ot! In order to
prevent scalds, take your ands
and ot er parts of t e body out of
t e delivery area before pressing
any delivery button.
T e drinking water quality must be
c ecked prior to t e delivery of
cold beverages.
Observe t e rules and regulations
of t e country w ere t e dispenser
is installed.
Never touc t e power supply plug
wit wet ands or plug it in if t e
plug itself is wet.

• If t e power supply cable of t e
dispenser is damaged it may only be
replaced by a works op named by t e
manufacturer. Special tools are needed
for t e replacement.
• Regular cleaning of t e dispenser is
necessary for functional and ygienic
reasons. W en cleaning, take care of
s arp edges. T ere is danger of
injuries! Switc off t e ON/OFF switc
before cleaning t e dispenser.
• Clean t e dispenser inside and outside
wit a wet clot ; do not spray it off.
Use a cleaning agent approved by t e
food industry and recommended by
your Cafitesse supplier only.
Observe safety instructions and
instructions for use on t e pack
of t e cleaning agent.
• To clean t e box and t e combi-troug
only use a cleaning agent approved by
t e food industry.
W en cleaning t e combi-troug
do not bring into close contact wit
magnetic cards or credit cards as
t is can invalidate t em.
T ere is great danger of being in-
jured if t e plexiglass panel at t e
front is cleaned improperly and
breaks.
• W en connecting t e dispenser to t e
drinking water line and t e electric
line, follow t e local regulations.
Safety instructions
• T e dispenser may not be subject to
frost during operation, storage and
transport.
- In order to prevent damage due to
frost, t e service tec nician must
completely drain t e water from t e
boiler prior to storage and transport
and must also remove any residual
water from oses and valves.
- It is recommended to store and
transport t e dispenser in its original
packaging.
- However, if t ere is t e danger of
damage due to frost, t e service
tec nician must c eck and replace
boiler, oses and valves if required
prior to reconnecting t e dispenser and
e s ould additionally carry out a
functional test.
• T e dispenser must be connected to
an electric circuit w ic is protected by
a fuse.
We recommend to install a fault
current safety switc . T e connection
must be made using a safety plug
eart ed according to t e regulations.
Follow t e local regulations!
• If t e dispenser will not be used for a
longer period of time (e. g. at nig t or
during t e weekend), close t e water
cock. Switc off t e ON/OFF button.
Do not pull out t e power supply plug
because ot erwise t e cooling system
will not function any more.
• T e dispenser must not be used w en
t e water supply is interrupted
because ot erwise t e boiler will not
be filled.
• Do not switc off t e dispenser be-
tween beverage deliveries in order to
keep t e optimum water temperature
in t e boiler.
• Use only original spare parts.
• T e dispenser may only be installed,
programmed and repaired by specially
trained service tec nicians w o are
familiar wit t e safety and ygiene
aspects of t e dispenser.

• Open t e water cock.
• Plug in t e power supply plug.
• Open t e cover of t e cooling
compartment (fig 6).
• Switc on t e dispenser wit t e ON/
OFF button (1). 'On' will be displayed.

operation, t e warning message Code
8 will be displayed. T e fault indication
will be displayed until t e cooling
compartment as t e correct
temperature, w ic can take a few
ours.
• If t e dispenser is in operation t e

temperature in degrees centigrade (A)
and t e ON/OFF (B) status. (fig. 7)
• If t e dispenser as been out of
operation for a long period of time, put
a collecting vessel underneat t e ot
water outlet, actuate t e ot water
delivery button (1) and let at least 10 l
flow out before using t e dispenser.

SWITCHING OFF THE

operate.
• If t e dispenser will not be used for a

DELIVERY OF BEVERAGES
• According to t e customer's
requirements t e dispenser can deliver
t e beverages indicated in t e c apter
Introduction.
• Beverage delivery can be blocked by
means of t e service panel:

• W en t e LEDs (1, 2) on t e front and
back of t e dispenser lig t red, t e
corresponding flexipack is eit er not
installed or it is empty and as to be
replaced. (fig. 11)

DELIVERY MODES
• Depending on ow t e dispenser as been
adjusted during installation, t e mode for
t e delivery of beverages and ot water
will be one of t e following:
1) Delivery in portions:
T e volume of a portion can be ad-
justed by a service tec nician. T e
next beverage is only delivered w en
-t e delivery of t e previous beverage
as been finis ed and
-t e button for t e previous beverage
as been released,
-t e programmed pause is over and
-t e button for t e next beverage as
been pressed.
2) Continuous delivery
T e delivery is continued as long as
t e corresponding delivery button is
pressed.
3) Constantly repeated delivery in
portions
T e delivery of a portioned quantity is
constantly repeated as long as t e
corresponding delivery button is
pressed.
• T is description only refers to one
side. T e delivery on t e ot er side of
t e dispenser can be carried out
independently - depending on t e type
of beverages to be delivered.
• T e beverage delivery buttons and t e
ot water button can be programmed
by our service tec nicians according to
t e dispenser type.
• W en pressing t e stop button (1)

ADJUSTING THE CUP OR
POT STOP
• Insert t e stop (1) in t e openings of
t e cup carrier or mount it on t e drip
grip. (fig. 13)
• Adjust t e stop (1) according to t e
size of t e cup or pot, so t at its
centre is positioned underneat t e
outlet. (fig. 13)
• T e cup carrier can be adjusted

• By activating t e stop button (1) and

counter can be separately reset for
eac individual delivery button. (fig. 17)

COUNTER DISPLAY

• If an accounting system is connected

• T e counter displays t e number of
delivered portions for eac delivery
button and for t e ot water delivery
button separately.
• By pressing t e 'Mode' button (3) t e
following menus can be called up
consecutively: 'Free' or 'Pay', 'Cnt F'
and 'Cnt P'. (fig. 16)
• To finis programming, turn t e key switc
to t e neutral position and remove it.
