How does the Dr. Müller Collagenic Light work?
Collagen is a human protein made by broblast cells in the dermis layer of the
skin. Skin is supported by underlying collagen and elastin, because these proteins
are responsible for the tightness, elasticity and suppleness of the skin.
Research proves that during the course of the aging process, especially aer
the age of 30, the skin loses its ability to produce the collagen protein. As a
consequence lines and ne wrinkles appear. Pure, non-laser red light stimulates
the body’s own natural process to form new collagen and elastin proteins.
The best type of light is to be found at a wavelength of 633 nanometres. This type
of red light reaches the deepest layer of the skin, delivering energy to the cells to
stimulate a response from the body to use the energy itself.
Therefore this rejuvenation method is far more eective to increase the
production of collagen protein compared to using collagen creams. Because
these creams only reach the top layer of the skin and do not get through to the
lower dermis layer where the collagen is produced.

treatment time. We recommend not to exceed this maximum time.

Change default time
Connect the Power supply to a socket. The display will
give a default time: 20 minutes. Push the start button
to begin your session. The lights will turn on and the time
will decrease.
When the display shows the default time [20 minutes*],

My Collagenic is a facial light device that emits red light for rejuvenating and
smoothing your skin. This scientically proven therapy ensures to give you a
healthier and younger looking appearance. Plus it will make you feel energised.
Experience a unique way of improving your health, skin and beauty.To
get the desired results out of a My Collagenic session, please notice the
following instructions.
• Remove cosmetics well in advance and cleanse your face and neck area.
• Men should shave before treatment, as facial hair can interfere with the
treatment. The facial area under a beard or moustache cannot be treated.
• Expose as much of the skin of your face and neck area to the light.
• Put My Collagenic at a stable surface, like
a table or desk and connect the power
supply cable of the device to a wall socket.
• Sit in a comfortable position in front of
My Collagenic and place your face
at a distance of 20 centimetres.
• Put your goggles on. When operating the
My Collagenic it is recommended not to
look straight into the lights.
• Turn the device on by pressing the start button.
• Relax and enjoy your session.
• Aer 20 minutes - or other installed time - the device will turn o
automatically.
• Aer a session, you can use the Dr. Müller Collagenic Bodyli Elixir to enhance
the eect of My Collagenic.
• Store the My Collagenic in its original Dr. Müller box.

My Collagenic Starter program
Two to three sessions of 20 minutes per week, and for 10 to 12 consecutive weeks.
It is advisable to spread the sessions evenly throughout the week. This initial
program has been developed to achieve the desired result from the Collagenic
light. It is, therefore, our advice that you complete this starters program.
My Collagenic Maintenance program
One session of 20 minutes per week. It is recommended when you have nished
the starter program that you follow the maintenance program in order to
maintain the result achieved with the starter program. The device has been
designed for home use, so that the My Collagenic can become a part of
your healthy lifestyle.
• Read the user instructions and safety notications before using this product.
Or consult the attendant or your Dr. Müller distributor for further information.
• Follow the recommendations concerning the exposure duration and
exposure intervals.
• The supply voltage (V) and frequency (Hz) must agree with the information
given on the device type plate. A copy can be found in the Specications
chapter in this manual.
• Before servicing My Collagenic remove the power supply cord or isolate
from the main supply.
• Never use this device when the timer is faulty.
• Always use the provided protective goggles.
• We recommend a maximum exposure of 20 minutes per session and a
maximum of 20 sessions a month.
• If by any case you experience unexpected side eects, for example, itching
within 48 hours of the rst session, medical advice should be sought before
further exposure.
• Water and electricity are a dangerous combination. Do not place My
Collagenic in a humid room or near water facilities like a shower or swimming
pool.

• The appliance is not to be used by children or people with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction.
• Do not remove the cover under any conditions. There are no user
serviceable parts inside. Never operate this unit when its cover is removed.
• Never plug this device into a dimmer pack.
• Always be sure to use this unit in an area that will allow proper ventilation.
Allow about 15 centimetres between the device and a wall.
• The device is intended for indoor use only, use of this product outdoors voids
all warranties.
• Always place the unit in a safe and stable matter.
• Power-supply cords should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked
on or pinched by items placed upon or against them, paying particular
attention to the point they exit from the unit.
• The device should be cleaned with a dry cloth.
• Do not use the device for over 20 minutes on one treatment area.
• Aer the session, unplug the power supply from the light unit and wall socket.
• Only use the appliance in combination with the adapter supplied and do not
use the device or the adapter if it is damaged or broken to avoid injuries.
• If the adapter is damaged, always have it replaced with one of the original
types to prevent a hazard.
• The adapter contains a transformer. Do not cut o the adapter to replace it
with another plug, as this causes a hazardous situation.
• Do not insert metal-containing material into the socket for the small plug to
avoid short circuiting.
• If you wear jewellery or glasses, take them o before you use the appliance,
or make sure that you do not use the device on or near jewellery or glasses.
• Please note that the condition of the skin varies throughout the year. For
example, facial skin can get drier during the winter season. In that case, you
may adapt the treatment time, depending on the needs of your skin.
• Aer using My Collagenic store it back in the provided box.
• Do not place anything heavy on top of the box.
• Do not throw away the appliance or its parts with the normal household
waste at the end of its life, but hand it in at an ocial collection point for
recycling. By doing this, you help to preserve the environment.
