before attempting to operate the system or perform any other process.

Description
1.
The symbol indicates possible loss or damage of data; it may cause
permanent loss of instrument data if in case handled by unauthorized
person.

To reduce the risk of electric shock or damage to the
equipment:
Do not disable the power cord grounding plug.
The grounding plug is an important safety
feature.
Plug the power cord into a grounded (earthed)
electrical outlet that is easily accessible at all
times.
Unplug the power cord from the power supply to
disconnect power to the equipment.
Do not route the power cord where it can be
walked on or pinched by items placed against it.
Pay particular attention to the plug, electrical
outlet, and the point where the cord extends
from the server.

PURPOSE
J-Secure identifies lab grown synthetic diamonds and perform effectively with practically all sizes and
shapes of loose diamonds as well as studded jewellery.
Instrument is not a TYPEs separator but it directly detects lab grown synthetics, grown by CVD/HPHT
methods.
Purpose of invention is to uphold consumer confident and keep business of natural diamond safe
from mixing or sold undisclosed of synthetic diamonds in cost effective manner.

INSTALLATION GUIDE
1. Place the machine on a table in such a position that the eye level of user operating the
machine is parallel to the height of the Touch screen LCD.
2. Connect the power cable to the machine, please make sure the switch is off before the
power cable is connected to the machine so as to avoid any problem
3. Now connect the wifi antenna to the machine
4. Now connect the software key to the machine without this key software will not get
initialiseds
5. Switch on the “ Instrument” and “Touch Screen LCD”
6. Check the jewellery /diamond tray to see if it is properly locked and then close the door
7. Click the Software icon on LCD desktop ,start the Software and wait until the machine gets
initialized.
8. Press Home Button in the s/w to bring the tray to center position
9. Push to eject the tray and pull it out gently to mount jewelry /diamond
10. Wear gloves while mounting jewelry so as to keep it free from masking , coating ,greasy or
dusty surface
11. For testing diamonds make sure that diamonds are properly boiled at 250 degree Celsius for
30 minutes with solution mix h2so4 30% and hno3 70%
12. Push the tray inside until it gets locked and make sure that the front door is closed
13. Start the scan process
14. This instrument is developed to identify lab grown synthetic diamonds only

CALIBRATION
J.Secure + is programmed to automatically calibrate at runtime of the scan process but to check the
proper running of entire system we strongly advise to check the sample pendant that is provided
with the machine every time the software is started or is initialized in the beginning
Method to check the sample pendant
1. Click the Software icon on LCD desktop ,start the Software and wait until the machine gets
initialized.
2. Press Home Button in the s/w to bring the tray to centre position
3. Open the door.
4. Push to eject the tray and pull it out gently to mount the sample pendant
5. Put the sample pendant on necklace tray grid number “1“ push the tray gently until it gets
locked
6. Close the door
7. Select the grid “1” in the software
8. Select the manual icon to open its options
9. Press the scan button and wait for the scan process is completed
10. After the scan process is completed please check the result and see that that the first and
the third diamond should be detected as synthetic
11. The above result confirms that the software is properly initialised and all the components in
the machine are working properly
