1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 INTRODUCTION
- MOTOSCAN CE is designed with the criteria of cost saving, but still
effective and suitable for the workers who are still in financial difficulty to
have the opportunity to use reputable, quality and cost-effective equipment,
reasonable without conditional use professional products as MOTOSCAN 7
and MOTOSCAN TAB.
- MOTOSCAN CE is used for diagnosing fault, adjustment, test, repair fault
for Engine & ABS system; programming smart key & immobilizer system;
ODO value correction (ODO function is option) and lookup repair data for
professional motorbike repair workshop.
- Support programming, adjusting and setting parameters in ECU as
electronic key programming, zero point programming of TPS, and air/fuel
ratio programming, idle speed and pulse bandwidth adjustment to control
fuel injection vv...
- A gift MOTODATA software for 01 year (you need pay renewal fee for the
next years) that used to lookup motorbike repair data for PIAGGIO, HONDA,
YAMAHA, SUZUKI, SYM, KYMCO. MOTODATA supports Android, iOS, and
Windows devices as smart phone, Tablet, computer, laptop. In particular, it
integrated workshop management function that helps you mange orders,
customers, inventory, financial…

1.1 Read, clear fault codes stored in ECUs of engine system and ABS

FUNCTION 2: REPAIR FAULT
1. Smart key system for HONDA, YAMAHA, SUZUKI manufacturers:
- Read KEYID# and ECMID from SCU to register new key (FOB) when lost all
keys and sync SCU with ECM
- Support for looking up the key programming process, synchronizing
directly on the vehicle or programming without a vehicle (SCU does not need
to be mounted on the vehicle) on MOTODATA software

4. Calibrate and set control parameters in the ECM:

- Reset to manufacturer value of ECM: HONDA, YAMAHA, PIAGGIO/VESPA (it

- Offset zero point value and set range of throttle position sensor for
PIAGGIO/VESPA (it also support GILERA, APRILIA, DERBI, PEUGEOT, which
use similar ECMs)
- Synch and control IACV for HONDA, YAMAHA, PIAGGIO/VESPA (it also
support GILERA, APRILIA, DERBI, PEUGEOT, which use similar ECMs),
KYMCO
- Adjust pulse band width to control fuel injectors (Ti) and idle speed:

FUNCTION 3: SPECIALIZED MEASURE TOOL
1. Measure the air/fuel ratio (A/F) to assess the instantaneous fuel
consumption
2. Measure the optimal coefficient of ECM to assess the performance and

quality of the current ECM
FUNCTION 4: LOOKUP INFORMATION
1. Show the current firmware version of ECM and ACU
2. Look up the acronym, position of signal pins for systems: ECM, SCU, ACU,
ODO, IMMO, SMART KEY
3. Look up electrical wiring diagram: principle diagram, schematic assembly
and specified conditions
4. Look up installation process, repair, maintanence
5. Manage repair workshop: customer, financial, store, treasury, employees
6. Update software and data via Internet
1.3 ADDRESS & APPLICATION RANGE
- It is diagnostic tool in motorcycle/ Scooter workshops and equipment for
technical training.
- A semi-finished products connect to trainer for electronic injection &
ignition system of PGM-FI motorcycles.
- A safety check equipment of the motorcycles before it is running on the
road and in motorcycle club.
NOTES:
