When yo u install the 4ch dual SD Card DVR for the first t ime, ple ase che ck if any
SD Ca rds are i nst alle d. And c heck th e write protect swi tch.
Formula for S torage space oc cupatio n:
The C apacity of SD Card storage devic e:
MD6600 Series 4ch dual S D Card mobile D VR supp orts max imum 128GB sto rage
device (2 pcs 64GB SD Cards), User can choose the appropriate SD Card accordingly.
How to choose SD Card`s capacity?
Total storage capacity(M)=
numbers of chann els(CH)* required time(H)* o ccupied capacity per hour(M/H)
Formula for re cording time:
Recording time(H)=
Total storage capacity(M)T/【numbers o f channels(CH)* occupied capacity
per hour(M/H)】
Please notes:
MD6600 Series products adopt H.264 compression technology, with comparatively
wide d ynamic range, a nd different video input devices will affect the bit stream statistics
obviously. So when user calculate the above pa rameters, please refer to all channels` bit
stream info in menu, to make sure the calculation as accurate as possible , and as sist
user to choose more appropriate storage devices.
For instance:
User use a 64GB/C6 standard SD Card, take 4ch full real time D1/25FPS high quality
recording as a n example, the SD Card will record for around 50hours, each single channel
will takes around 300MB capac ity per hour, the recording time of 4ch real time high quality
recording will be: 64GB /( 300 M/B * 4CH) ≈50H
