4. Maintenance:
- Check the platform is in good condition before each use (welding points, component geometry, lock conditions,
which have to be replaced, if need be by a DUARIB-made components).
- Before each new worksite, use a clean cloth on the sliding parts of the front and back bases to prevent damage
to the guiding system.
Unlock one side of the
device by blocking
the lock.
Unlock the other side
by holding pressure
with the thumb.
Push the safety rail,
your foot on the rung.
Release the thumb as
soon as the moving
starts.
Shift 2 positions. Go
up a rung if need be.
Check that the locks
are set.
Setting the height:
Closing:
- Follow the opposite steps of the
opening.
To fold the stabilizer,
push the pad up-
wards.
Access:
- Once on the floor, set the small
chain.
Setting devices with 4 independent and adjustable legs:
- Pull the lock rod and and set the desired position (adjustment every 2 cm). Make sure the
adjustable legs are locked.
- The adjustable legs can be extended over 16cm and are not designed to make the
devaice taller, but to adapt it to a difference in level.
3. Tips for proper use:
- Do not use the platform without its safety rails and behind a door that has not been sealed off.
- The surfaces on which the platform is set must be horizontal and non slippery.
- All the legs must touch the ground, and if it is soft, you must set up a plate beneath the all the supports that
require one.
- Make sure the work area is far from any working power line.
- You must handle the platform with care and must not throw it.
- Always go up and down facing the platform, make sure you wear shoes in good conditions delivering a good
support.
- Do not go up the platform if you suffer from vertigo or if you are tired.
