CARE
Duneswagshavethefinestwaterrepellenttreatmentpossibleforeachtypeoffabric.
Noswaghowevercanbeaswaterproofasahouse,carorsimilarsolidstructure.
Thereareseveralcommonandnaturalcausesthatcanleadtowaterinyourswag:‐
CONDENSATION
Thepolycottoncanvasfabricsareimpregnatedwithwaterproofingagentstorepelwater.This
coatingreducesairpermeabilityandleadstocondensationsimilartothatwhichoccursoncar
windowsundercertainconditions.
Somecondensationisnormalwithpolycottoncanvasfabricandshouldnotbeconsideredasa
defect.
NEEDLEHOLES
Duneswagsaremanufacturedbyexpertmachinistswiththefinestwaterrepellenttreatment.
Howeverwhennew,duringheavyrainsomeseepagemayoccurintheseamsthroughthe
needleholescreatedinthesewingprocess.Thisisnormalandcanbecorrectedwiththe
applicationofaseamsealingcomponentavailableatcampingstores.Readthelabelonany
seamsealingproductbeforeusing.

STUCTURALINTEGRIRTY
AlthoughDuneswagsandcanvastentsareconstructedtorigidspecifications,periodsofwind
andrainsoakingthegroundmayloosenpegsandcausethepolestosinkintotheground.This
willweakentherigidityoftheoverallstructureandmayallowwaterpocketstoforminthe
roofofthepoleassemblyisnottaught,theweightofwhichmaycausebrokenpolesandtorn
fabric.
Thisisnotcoveredbywarranty.
IMPORTANT
1. Beforeusingyourswagitmustbeseasonedtomakeitfullywaterproof.Thisinvolves
erectingtheswag,soakingitcompletelywithwaterbyeitherrainorhoseandletting
theswagdry.Itisthedryingprocessthatwaterproofstheswag.Ensureallwindows
anddoorsareclosed.Thewettinganddryingprocessallowsthefabricandstitchingto
shrinkandtakeup.Somewatermaywickthroughthestitchingduringthisprocess.
Repeatthewettinganddryingprocess2or3times.Theswagshouldnowbe
waterproof.Ifanywickingthroughthestitchingoccursinthefuturerubthestitching
withawaxstick(availableatmostcampingstores)whichwillsealthearea.
2. Alwaysallowtheswagtodrycompletelybeforepackingitawayforstorage.Never
storeawetand/orsoiledswag,asmildewand/orcorrosionwillformwithinafew
days.Thisconditionisnotcoveredbyfactorywarranty.Alwaysallowswagtodry
completely,andcleanbeforerollingupandstoringaway.
3. Duringrainalwayslowerawningstoavoidwaterpondingonawning.
4. Thisswagisdesignedasarecreationalproductonlyandisnotsuitableforuseasa
dwelling.
5. Yourswagisvaluableandshouldbeinsuredagainstlossordamage.

12MONTHWARRANTY
Thisproductisguaranteedtobefreefromdefectsinworkmanship&materialsforaperiodof
12monthsfromdateofpurchase.
Theproductwillbereplacedorrefundedforamajorfailure.Theproductwillberepairedor
replacedatourdiscretionshouldtheproductfailtobeofanacceptablequalityandfailureis
notamajorfailure.
Warrantywillnotapplyiftheproduct(a)isdamagedthroughmisuse(includingfailureto
maintain),neglect,accidentorordinarywear&tear(includingrust,corrosion&normalfading,
weathering,staining,discolouration,scratchingorchipping);(b)isdamagedthroughexposure
toheat;(c)isusedcommercially;(d)hasnotbeenusedorinstalledinaccordancewithany
applicableinstruction;or(e)hasbeenmodified,repairedortamperedwithbythepurchaser
oranunauthorisedserviceperson.
OurgoodscomewithguaranteesthatcannotbeexcludedundertheAustralianConsumerLaw.
Youareentitledtoareplacementorrefundforamajorfailureandforcompensationforany
otherreasonablyforeseeablelossordamage.Youarealsoentitledtohavethegoodsrepaired
orreplacedifthegoodsfailtobeofacceptablequalityandthefailuredoesnotamounttoa
majorfailure.
Toclaimunderthiswarranty,takethisproducttoanyAnacondastorewhereyoupurchasedit.
Youwillneedyourreceiptorotherproofofpurchase.Additionalinformationmaybe
requestedofyoutoprocessyourclaim.Shouldyounotbeabletoprovideproofofpurchase
withareceipt;abankorcreditcardstatement,andidentificationshowingyourname,address
andsignaturemayberequiredtoprocessyourclaim.
Anyexpenserelatingtothereturnoftheproducttothestorewillbeatthecostofthe
customer.Foronlinepurchases,pleasecontactustoarrangewhereandhowtoreturnthe
product.
Toobtaincompensation,youwouldneedtoprovidedocumentaryevidenceofthelossor
damagesuffered,anddocumentaryevidencethatsuchlossordamagewasareasonably
foreseeableconsequenceofafailure.Suchevidencemayincludephotographs,statutory
declarations,receipts,reports(e.g.fromyourdoctor),dependingonthelossordamage.
Thebenefitsgivenbythiswarrantyareinadditiontootherrightsandremediesunderthe
AustralianConsumerLawinrelationtothegoodsandservicestowhichthiswarrantyrelates.

ASSEMBLYINSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT:Thisswagistobepitchedoncebeforegoingcampingtoensurethatallparts
arepresentandtobecomefamiliarwiththeassemblyoftheswag.
1. Undostrapsfromclamp‐ringsandunrollswag.
2. Unzipthetoppanelattheheadendoftheswagandlocatethepolepocketcontaining
thepolesatthehead‐endofthemattress.Headpoleisthelongestpole,midpoleis
thenextlongestandthefootpoleistheshortest.
3. a)Jointheheadpoleandslidethemthroughthecentresleeveatthelargeendofthe
swag.
b)Placepole‐endsintheringandpinsinbothcornersoftheswag.
c)Attach“J”hookclipsontoheadpole.
4. a)Jointhefootpolesandslidethemthroughthesleeveatthesmallendoftheswag.
b)Placepole‐endsintheringandpinsinbothcornersoftheswag.
c)Attach“J”hookclipsontofootpole.
5. Undotopcanvasandmeshpaneltobelowmid‐waydowntheswag.
6. a)Assembleandinsetmidpoleinthecanvassocketslocatedmid‐wayalongthebase‐
seamsoneithersideofthemattress.
b)Undotouch‐tapewebbinglocatedmid‐waydownthecanvascentrestripofthe
meshpanel.Wrapthiswebbingaroundthehigh‐pointofthehoopedpoleand
reattachthetouch‐tape.
7. a)Attachguyropestothehead‐endstormflapeyelet.Attachtotree/bumper
bar/peg.
b)O‐ringsoneachcornerareforpeggingoutifnecessary.
c)Attachaguyropetothefootstormflapandattachtoatree/peg.Incidentally,the
O‐ringsontheheadendofthetoppanelallowforthepaneltobetieduptoa
tree/bumperbar.Obviouslythisisadryweatheroption.
Whena,b,andcarecompletetheswagshouldbetautandnotsagging.
8. Thetouch‐tapewebbinglooplocatedontheheadendofthecentrecanvasstrip
allowsyoutokeepthemeshpanelfirmaboveyourface.
Howtomakethemostofyourswagifexpectingbadweather.
Althoughnostructureis100%waterproof,byfollowingtheseinstructionsyoucanmaximise
yourswagsperformance.
Oncestep8hasbeencompleted,totallyzipclosethemeshandcanvastopmakingsureyou
attachthetouch‐tapeatthecentreO‐ring.Thenattachthetouch‐tapeontheweatherflap,to
provideagoodseal.
Beforeentering,makesuretheswagisfirmlypitchedsowatercannotpoolonanysurface.All
wateristorunoff,notlieincreasesorfolds.Thenenterthroughtheheadendandreattach
theguyropeifneedbe.Notethatthecanvasouterflapattheheadendentrancecanbe
rolleddownandtiedoffwiththeloopsandtogglesprovided.
Storage
Alwaysstoreunrolledtokeepmattressloftingandcanvasaired.
PLEASENOTE:Insevereconditionstheswagshouldbedismantled.

DISASSEMBLYINSTRUCTIONS
1. Releasetheguyropes
2. Unzipdoorsandwindowsandcollapsetheswag,removinganddisassemblingthe
poles.Placethepolesinsidetheswag.
3. Removepegsandplaceinthepegcarrybagandtieitshut.
Donotremovepegsfromthegroundbypullingonthepegloops–thismaycausethe
pegloopstotearoutoftheseam.
4. Spreadtheswagoutflatwithalllosefabricwithintheedgesoftheswagbase.
Trytoflattentheswagasmuchaspossible.
5. Rolltheswagfromtheheadendtothefootthenholdrolledupusingthewebbing
strapsprovided.
6. Whentheswagisrolledup,placeintoswagcarrybag,withpegbag,instructionsheet
andothermiscellaneousparts.Iftheswagdoesnotfitintothecarrybag,unrolland
re‐rollmoretightly.
HELPFULHINTSGUIDE
CONDENSATION–thisiscausedbylowertemperaturesontheoutsideoftheswagcombined
withyourbodyheatontheinsideoftheswag.Whenthisoccurs,avoidtouchingthewallsto
reducecontactleakage.Leavingthedoorsandwindowsopenwillreducemoisture
condensation.
SEAMLEAKAGE–allDuneswagsaremanufacturedbyexpertmachinists.However,seepage
mayoccurintheseamsthroughtheneedleholescreatedduringthesewingprocess.Thisis
normalandcanbecorrectedbyapplyingagenerousamountofseamsealerorwaxonthe
insideontheseams.Seamsealerisavailableatallretailcampingspecialists.
MILDEW–toavoidmildew,neverstoreyourswagawaywetordamp.Howeverifmildew
occurs,useasoftbristlebrushorspongewithmilddetergenttoclean.Lettheswagdryinthe
sunlightandre‐applyseamsealercompoundontheinsideoftheseams.
REPAIRINGATEAR–forsmalltears,useaself‐adhesivepatchkit.Werecommendacanvasor
awningrepairerforlargertears.
FAULTYZIPPER–allourswagsaremanufacturedwithzipperswhich,ifthezipperseparates,
youcanfixthezipperbymovingtheslidertothebeginningtothezippertapeandreworking
thezipper.Ifthisdoesn’twork,werecommendyouvisitacanvasorawningrepairerinyour
area.
FADINGFABRICS–donotleaveyourswagsetupindirectsunlightlongerthanisnecessary.If
leftinsunlightforprolongedperiodsiftime,thefabricwillfadeandweaken.
FLOORCONDENSATION–agroundsheetundertheswagpreventsthefloorfromfeeling
dampandhelpsprolongitslife.Thegroundsheetshouldbesmallerthantheswag’sfloorto
preventrainfromrunningundertheswag.
REMOVINGPEGS–pegsshouldbepulledoutwithanotherpeg,hammerorapegpuller.
Neverremoveapegbypullingontheswag.Avoidpeggingtheswagsotightthatitstretches
thefabric.Overstretchingmaycausepegloopstotear.
