3. CALIBRATION SCRIPT
Obs.: This procedures can be used to orientation , some item can be
changed by the factory engineering for best application and improve the
factoring process.
FM RANGE
Tunning in 87,5 MHz, adjust the coil OSC-FM (L.102) to obtain ~ 2,0 V in the
tunnig voltage (terminal 28 of IC101 with resistor of 10K in serie with the
voltimeter ).
Tunnig in 108,1 MHz, and verify if the tunnig voltage is ~ 7,1 V.
The voltage values can be slightly changed to help the production.
FI-FM
Connect a FM sweepings generator in the FM input.
Tunning the radio in 98,1 MHz.
Verify the shape of curve “S”, in the pin 23 of the IC101.
TRACKING FM
Connect a FM sweeping generator in the FM input.
The generator output must have a very low RF signal and cannot saturate the
IC output (pin 23 of the IC101 ).
Tunning in 90,1 MHz and adjust the RF-FM coil (L.101) to obtain maximum
output signal.
Tunning in 106,1 MHzand adjust VC.102 to obtain maximum output signal
AM RANGE
Tunning in 520 kHz, adjust the OSC-AM coil (T.101) to obtain ~ 1,0 V in the
tunning voltage.
Tunning in 1650 kHz, and verify if the tunning voltage is ~ 6,5 V.
The voltage values can be slightly changed to help the production.
FI-AM
Adjust an AM generator to1000 kHz with 30% of modulation in 400 Hz.
Tunning the radio in 1000 kHz.
Must be used a very low RF signal.
If haves undesirable noises, this frequency can be displaced for + or -, together
with a frequency of generator frequency.
Adjust the FI-AM coil (T.104) to obtain the maximum detected signal.

TRACKING-AM
Irradiate a AM sweeping to the ferrite antenna.
Tunning in 600 kHz and adjust the coil ANT-AM (T.102) to obtain maximum
output signal.
Tunning in 1400 kHzand adjust VC.101 to obtain maximum output signal.
Remake the adjust three times to obtain the best adjust point.
COMMENTS
The FM signal generator have be connected in the FM input through of DUMMY
DA-V.
The AM signal generator have be irradiated for a LOOP antenna and captured
by itself ferrite antenna of the device.
As much in the calibration of AM as in the one of FM, the used tool for calibrate
the coils have be of material not magnetic.

OSC. BIAS
Connect a VTVM in the point TP5 e TP6.
The VTVM output must be linked in a frequencymeter.
Put a tape with the unbroken rec constraint.
Select a AUX function whitout input signal.
Adjust T903 to obtain 59.068 Hz +/- 20Hz in the frequencymeter.
Verify if in the VTVM have a 0,035V signal.
