1. Fill Unit
nMove drain valve to closed position.
nAt the beginning of each day you will need to “Degas” your unit. In order to perform this
important function please fill you ultrasonic cleaner to the max fill line and run the unit for
15 minutes. This will minimize the microscopic bubbles in the tank and improve cleaning
effectiveness.
nIf heat is desired please adjust to appropriate temperature (110oF) using the arrows labeled
“Temp” then press the “Heating” button to initiate the feature. (Note: Actual temperature will
display once heat is started and may take up to 30 minutes to reach desired temperature).
nAfter completing the Degas operation, please add the correct amount of enzymatic cleaning
solution. (Tri-Clean triple enzymatic cleaner = 1 oz. per gal.)
nCarefully place items to be cleaned in basket and lower into solution.
nPlace lid on the top of the unit.
2. Start Cleaning Cycle
nCaution, while using heat does improve your cleaning results, it also results in the solution
becoming hot. Please use extreme caution when operating the unit and do not place hands in
the solution or spill solution on you.
nSet desired time of operation by using the arrows labeled “Time”.
nStart the cleaning cycle by pressing the button labeled “Ultrasonic”.
3. Unit Operation
nWait for cleaning cycle to finish or terminate the cycle early by pressing the ultrasonic button.
(Note: Do not stop the cycle by using the large green illuminated switch labeled “Power”).
nTurn off power to ultrasonic cleaner by using the green illuminated switch labeled “Power”.
(Note: Power switch for recessed models is not illuminated and located on side of control panel).
nCarefully remove basket from solution and allow excess liquid to drain off before moving away
from tank.
nDrain contents of tank by opening the valve located on the side of unit. (Note: Recessed models
must be powered on to activate drain valve by pressing button labeled “Drain” on control panel).
nFlush tank with warm water and clean with a non-acetone or non-phenol based cleaner if film is
present on tank walls.

Change ultrasonic solution when visibly soiled
or once a day, which ever is more often. P
Rinse the tank thoroughly and wipe down with
soft cloth at the end of each work day. P
Daily, flush drain tube with hot water to ensure
smooth draining cycles. P
Clean inside of tank with mild detergent once a
week. Be sure to rinse thoroughly so detergent is
not transferred to cleaning cycle. P
Replace filter every 3 to 6 months or when
slightest signs of damage or wear appear.

Recommended
nDo perform recommended maintenance to
ensure proper performance and longevity of your
ultrasonic cleaner.
nDo pre-rise instruments to remove larger bio-burden
particles. This is kind of like flossing teeth to remove larger
particles so the brushing can focus on removing
the smaller particles!
nDo download and print our Instrument cleaning instructions
guide found at: www.brandmax.us/msds-literature.
nDo use our Burr Basket (part # “BB1”) to hold small items
including burrs.
nDo operate ultrasonic unit with liquid at the Max Fill line level.
Not Recommended
(WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY)
nDo not remove the
filter (except during recommended
maintenance).
nDo not pick up the unit and drain,
unit must remain stable at all times.
nDo not put any items directly in
the tank, all items must be placed
inside basket.
nUsing enzyme tablets can damage
solenoid on recessed units and void
warranty. Using liquid enzymatic
cleaner is recommended.
