SETTING UP
OPERATION
Please read these instructions carefully before use and retain for future reference.
• Check the test leads, clips and case insulation before using. If you nd any
breakage or abnormality, or you consider the device is broken, stop using the
device immediately.
• Always operate the vehicle in a well ventilated area.
• Wear suitable eye protection.
• Avoid causing sparking when connecting the clips to the battery terminals.
• Up / Down keys: Select options.
• Exit key: Exit to previous menu.
• ENTER key: Conrm the selection.
• FN Key: Multi-function.
• Mini-USB Socket (on the side of the product): used to connect to a PC to print data.

• The tool allows you to make the following adjustments and settings:-
• From main menu, select the System Setup and press ENTER.:
1. Language: Selects desired language.
2. Fn settings: Set the measurement function - Voltmeter / quick test
3. Contrast adjustment: Adjusts the contrast of the LCD display.
4. Shows rmware version of the tester.
• After connect the tools clips to vehicle battery noting the correct polarity (Red clip to
battery +) the tester displays the tester model and version, then the battery voltage.
• Press any key to display the test options.
• The tester will automatically adjust to the surface charge and will prompt you to turn
off any circuits on the vehicle that may be drawing power, then press the ENTER
key.
Battery Test
• Select BATTERY TEST: the tester will prompt to select Car/Scooter (Motorcycle)
battery.
• Press UP/DOWN key to select Car/Scooter, then press ENTER to conrm.
• Select BATTERY TYPE: the tester will prompt to select battery type, i.e. Regular
Flooded, Lithium Ion, AGM Flat Plate or AGM Spiral, Gel and EFB battery.
• Press UP/DOWN key to select the battery type, then press ENTER to conrm.
Note: Lithium Ion battery are Scooter (Motorcycle) battery types only.
