PRODUCT SPECIFIC SAFETY WARNINGS
> The mounting location MUST NOT
intersect any wall studs, plumbing,
electrical wiring or ductwork.
> Do NOT run electrical wiring or
plumbing through the Dust Right
Through-The-Wall Port Kit.
> Understand and follow all relevant
building and electrical codes. If you

screws or larger holes for wall
anchors. (Screws and wall anchors
not included.)
9. At the second wall, make sure the
tube is extending as far as it will go.
Then make a mark on the tube
11⁄2" out from the wall. Remove the
4" diameter tube from the wall and
carefully cut it to the length you
just marked.
10. Reinsert the tube in the hole and
advance it until the combo port is
flush against the wall. Attach the
combo port to the first wall
with screws.
11. At the second wall, fit the remaining
combo port onto the 4" diameter
tube and position it square. Then
use the holes you drilled earlier in
the combo port flange to mark
drilling locations in the wall for
screws or wall anchors (not
included). Drill the pilot holes.
12. Remove the combo port; apply
silicone adhesive or ABS pipe
cement and fit the combo port back
onto the 4" diameter tube, squaring
it so the holes in the flange line up
with the holes or anchors in the wall.
Press the combo port flush against
the wall.
13. Drive screws to attach the combo
port to the wall. Allow the adhesive
to cure as specified in the
product instructions.
1. Decide on a location for the Dust
Right®Through-The-Wall Port Kit.
Make sure that the mounting
location will not intersect any
wall studs, plumbing, electrical
wiring or ductwork. Also make
sure it will be possible to create
aligned openings on both sides of
the wall; if the holes are misaligned,
the wall-mount combo ports will not
mount flush against the wall.
2. Mark and carefully cut a 4" diameter
hole in one wall. Options for making
this cut include a hole saw, a jigsaw,
a rotary tool or a jab saw.
3. Mark a corresponding hole on the
opposite wall. Make sure that the
hole will align with the hole you cut
in the first wall.
4. Carefully cut a 4" diameter hole
in the second wall and spread or
cut through any insulation in the
installation area.
5. Drill a hole in all four corners of
each wall-mount combo port for a
mounting screw (not included).
6. Attach the 4" diameter tube to one
of the wall-mount combo ports with
silicone adhesive or ABS pipe
cement. Allow the adhesive to
cure as specified in the
product instructions.
7. Fit the 4" diameter tube into the hole
in the first wall and out the hole in
the second wall. Advance the tube
until the combo port is flush against
the wall.
8. Square up the wall-mount combo
port and use the holes you drilled
in the flange to mark drilling
locations on the wall. Drill the holes.
Depending on your application, you
might need small pilot holes for
