In addion to the careful aenon devoted to quality standards in the
manufacture process of your display product, safety is a major factor in the
design of every instrument. However, safety is your responsibility too. This sheet
lists important informaon that will help to assure your enjoyment and proper
use of the display product and accessory equipment. Please read them carefully
before operang and using your display product.
Installaon
Read and Follow Instrucons - All the safety and operang instrucons should
be read before the display monitor is operated. Follow all operang instrucons.
1. Retain Instrucons - The safety and operang instrucons should be retained
for future reference.
2. Heed Warnings - Comply with all warnings on the video product and in the
operang instrucons.
3. Polarizaon - Do not defeat the safety purpose of the grounding-type
plug.
A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding
prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for
your safety.
If the provided plug does not t into your outlet, consult an
electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet

5. Power Sources - This display product should be operated only from the type
of power source indicated on the marking label. If you are not sure of the type of
power supply to your locaon, consult your video dealer or local power
company.
6. Overloading - Do not overload wall outlets of extension cords as this can result
in the risk of re or electric shock. Overloaded AC outlets, extension cords, frayed
power cords, damaged or cracked wire insulaon, and broken plugs are
dangerous. They may result in a shock or re hazard. Periodically examine the
cord, and if its appearance indicates damage or deteriorated insulaon, have it
replaced by your service technician.
7. Power-Cord Protecon - Power supply cords should be routed so that they
are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon or against them,
paying parcular aenon to cords at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the
point where they exit from the display product.
8. Venlaon - Slots and openings in the case are provided for venlaon to
ensure reliable operaon of the video product and to protect it from
overheang. These openings must not be blocked or covered. The openings
should never be blocked by placing the display equipment on a bed, sofa, rug, or
other similar surface. This display product should never be placed near or over a
radiator or heat register. This display product should not be placed in a built-in
installaon such as a bookcase or rack unless proper venlaon is provided or
the video product manufacturer’s instrucons have been followed.
9. Aachments - Do not use aachments unless recommended by the display
product manufacturer as they may cause a hazard.

10. Water and Moisture - Do not use this display product near water. For
example, near a bath tub, wash bowl, kitchen sink or laundry tub, in a wet
basement, near a swimming pool and the like.
11. Accessories - Do not place this display equipment on an
unstable cart, stand, tripod, or table. The display equipment
may fall, causing serious damage to the display product. Use
this display product only with a cart, stand, tripod, bracket,
or table recommended by the manufacturer or sold with the
display product. Any mounng of the product should follow the manufacturer’s
instrucons and use a mounng accessory recommended by the manufacturer.
12 Wall or Ceiling Mounng - The display product should be mounted to a wall
or ceiling only as instructed in this guide, using the provided mounng bracket
Service
13. Servicing - Do not aempt to service this display equipment yourself as
opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltage or other
hazards. Refer all servicing to qualied service personnel.
14. Condions Requiring Service - Unplug this display product from the wall
outlet and refer servicing to qualied service personnel under the following
condions.
A. When the power supply cord or plug is damaged.
B. If liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the display
product.

C. If the display product has been exposed to rain or water.
D. If the display product does not operate normally by following the
operang instrucons. Adjust only those controls that are covered by
the operang instrucons. Improper adjustment of other controls may
result in damage and will oen require extensive work by a qualied
technician to restore the video product to its normal operaon.
E. If the display product has been dropped or the cabinet has been
damaged.
F. When the display product exhibits a disnct change in performance.
This indicates a need for service.
15. Replacement Parts - When replacement parts are required, have the service
technician verify that the replacements used have the same safety
characteriscs as the original parts. Use of replacements specied by the display
product manufacturer can prevent re, electric shock or other hazards.
16. Safety Check - Upon compleon of any service or repairs to this display
product, ask the service technician to perform safety checks recommended by
the manufacturer to determine that the display product is in safe operang
condion.
17. Heat - The product should be situated away from heat sources such as
radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other products (including ampliers) that
produce heat.

19. Cleaning - Unplug the display product from the wall outlet before cleaning.
Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Use a damp or dry cloth for
cleaning.
20. Product and Cart Combinaon - display and cart combinaon should be
moved with care. Quick stops, excessive force, and uneven surfaces may cause
the display product and car combinaon to overturn.
21. Object and Liquid Entry - Never push objects for any kind into this display
product through openings as they may touch dangerous voltage points or
“short-out” parts that could result in a re or electric shock. Never spill liquid of
any kind on the display product.
22. Lightning - For added protecon for this display product during a lightning
storm, or when it is le unaended and unused for long periods of me, unplug
it from the wall outlet and disconnect the antenna or cable system. This will
prevent damage to the display product due to lightning and power line surges.
23. To reduce the risk of re or electric shock do not expose this display product
to rain or moisture
24. Baery (Lithium) on the main board is not intended to be replaced by user.
Cauon (A) To reduce the risk of electric shock do not perform any
servicing other than that contained in the operang instrucon unless
you are qualied to do so. (B) Danger of explosion if baery is
incorrectly replaced
25. WARNING To prevent injury, this display product must be securely
aach to the oor/wall in accordance with the manufacture
installaon instrucons.

This product has been designed and manufactured in compliance with Direcve
2002/ /95/EC of the European Parliament and the Council on restricon of the
use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS
Direcve) and is deemed to comply with the maximum concentraon values
issued by the European Technical Adaptaon Commiee (TAC) as shown below:
Certain components of products as stated above are exempted under the Annex
of the RoHS Direcves as noted below:
Examples of exempted components are:
1. Mercury in compact uorescent lamps not exceeding 5 mg per lamp and in
other lamps not specically menoned in the Annex of RoHS Direcve.
2. Lead in glass of cathode ray tubes, electronic components, uorescent tubes,
and electronic ceramic parts (e.g. piezoelectronic devices).
3. Lead in high temperature type solders (i.e. lead-based alloys containing 85%
by weight or more lead).
4. Lead as an allong element in steel containing up to 0.35% lead by weight,
aluminium containing up to 0.4% lead by weight and as a cooper alloy containing
up to 4% lead by weight.

The shipping carton will contain the following parts:

Note: The shipping carton and packaging materials should be retained in case
the monitor should need to be reshipped for any reason.
Package Contents
Setup Procedure
1. Determine the installaon locaon.
CAUTION: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO INSTALL THE LCD MONITOR BY YOURSELF.
Installaon of your LCD monitor must be performed by a qualied technician.
Contact your dealer for more informaon.
CAUTION: MOVING OR INSTALLING THE LCD MONITOR MUST BE DONE BY TWO
OR MORE PEOPLE. Failure to follow this cauon may result in injury if the LCD
monitor falls.
CAUTION: The front surface of the monitor’s LCD panel is delicate and should not
be laid face down unless a protecve cushion is in place.
2. Connect external equipment
To protect the connected equipment, turn o the main power before making
connecons. Refer to your equipment user manual.

3. Connect the supplied power cord
The power outlet socket should be installed as near to the equipment as
possible, and should be easily accessible. NOTE: • Please refer to “Safety
Precauons, Maintenance & Recommended Use” secon of this manual for
proper selecon of the AC power cord.
4. Turn on AC Power Switch
Turn on the AC power switch adjacent to the power input connector on the
monitor. The switch will illuminate to show a red light when the AC power is on.
5. Enable the video display
Using the menu funcon, select the input signal to be displayed.
6. Adjust the sound
Using the menu funcon, make adjustments to the volume as required.
7. Adjust the screen
Using the menu funcon, make adjustments to the display posion or sengs
if required.
8. Adjust the image
Using the menu funcon, make adjustments to brightness or contrast if required.
Monitor Operang Environment
The monitor is designed to funcon in the following ambient environment:
Operaonal Temperature 0C° - 40C°, 32° - 104°F
Humidity 20 - 80% (without condensaon)

Digital Video Input port, suitable to connect any PC or equipment with a compat-
ible digital output.
HDMI
High Denion Mulmedia Interface, suitable to connect any
compable equipment such as BluRay players etc.
VGA
Video Graphics Array interface, suitable to connect any compable device such
as PC with a VGA output
Serial
RS-232 serial interface. Used to load monitor operang code by qualied
personnel. Contact your dealer for informaon
Audio Out
Speaker jacks. HDMI amplied output.
Monitor Connecons
The monitor is provided with a number of dierent input ports. The following
idenes the ports and their purpose.

1. Power On/O : Turns On and O the power to the monitor electronics.
Note : There is a separate AC power switch on the rear of the unit that must be turned on before this
buon can operate. The monitor is congured to automacally turn on when AC power is connected.
2. Adjust Up : Increments the value of the currently selected menu eld.
3. Adjust Down : Decrements the value of the currently selected menu eld.
4. Select Up : Moves the menu eld selecon up. The selecon rolls over at the
top of the menu to select the boom item.
5. Select Down : Moves the menu eld selecon down. The selecon rolls over
at the boom of the menu to select the top item.
6. Menu : Enables and disables the display of the On Screen user menu.
7. Backlight Up : Increments the backlight seng to brighten the screen display.
8. Backlight Down : Decrements the backlight seng to dim the screen display.
Menu Control Funcons
The monitor conguraon can be controlled by either the IR remote control
shipped with the monitor, or by the user buons located on the rear of the cover.

AC Power
The power supply is auto-ranging and supports an input voltage range of 100 –
240VAC, 50/60Hz. All models have a common A/C power connector which
accepts a standard IEC60320 style power cord. The Inlet/switch module also has
an integrated replaceable fuse holder with a 250V Slow Blow fuse.
