PRODUCT Introduction
Product Description:
The Dyconn Dubbler Dock Pro+ 6-Bay is a powerful, versatile and
portable 1:5 HDD duplicator and docking station. It’s super fast transfer
speed 500MB/s makes data back-up and management quick and easy.
The Dubbler Dock Pro+ is compatible with 3.5/2.5 internal SATA HDDs.
What’s more, with a CF-SATA transfer card, the Dubbler Dock Pro+ is well
equipped to handle a CF Card.
Without a PC, the Dubbler Dock Pro+ can impressively perform sector by
sector copy/compare, regardless of le system or data format limitation. At
the same, connecting the Dubbler Dock Pro+ to a computer via USB 3.0
produces immediate access to up to 6 HDDs at one time.
With the Dubbler Dock CloneDrive software, performing a computer system
backup or upgrade has never been easier. CloneDrive effortlessly shrinks
the size of a partition on the Source HDD and clones the partition to a
smaller HDD/SSD. CloneDrive technology allows the Target drive
(HDD/SSD) to be able to boot and perform as the Source drive.

Care and Maintenance:
The Dyconn Dubbler Dock Pro+ should be treated with care during use and
storage. As such, please follow the suggested maintenance advice below:
1. Keep the device away from rain, humidity and all forms of liquid and
condensation that contain minerals that may corrode electronic circuitry.
2. Do not use or store the device in environments of extreme heat or low
temperature. High temperature can shorten the life span of
electronic devices.
3. Do not use or store the device in dusty and wet environments that will
destroy its moving parts and electronic components.
4. Do not drop, knock or shake the device. Improper handling can break or
adversly effect the structural and working integrity of the device.
5. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong detergents to
clean the device. To clean, simply use a damp cloth on the
external housing.

Offline Cloning
Ofine Cloning with Dubbler Dock Pro+
Warning: All data in the Target HDD will be erased after the cloning
operation.
Please note the below-noted conditions before performing the
cloning process:
1. Bay 1: Source HDD
2. Bay 2, 3, 4, 5, 6: Target HDD
3. Target HDDs capacity must be larger than or equal to the Source HDD,
otherwise the Cloning process cannot be initiated.
4. Before the Cloning process is initiated, make sure the information on the
Target HDD has been backed up, as once the Cloning process is initiated,
all information from the Source HDD will be transfered to the Target HDD.
5. Once the Dubbler Dock Pro+ is connected via USB interface, the Ofine
Clone will be invalid.

Offline cloning
How to perform the Ofine Cloning Process
1. Place the Source HDD into the Bay 1 tray, followed by the placement of
Target HDD into Bay 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
2. Turn On the Power to the Dubbler Dock Pro+.
3. Once the HDD Bay LED indicators illuminate, the Dubbler Dock is ready
to perform the cloning process.
4. Press and Hold the Clone button for 3-seconds until the blue LED
indicator lights start blinking. Press the Clone button once more for Clone
conrmation while all LED lights are still blinking blue.
5. Ofine cloning is now initiated and is underway. The 25% LED light will
begin blinking to represent the start of the cloning process. The 50%, 75%
and 100% LED indicator lights will commence to ash in sequence
pursuant to the progression of the cloning process.
6. Once the cloning process is nished, all progress blue LED indicator
lights will illuminate.
7. Turn the power Off to the Dubbler Dock Pro+ and carefully remove
each HDD.
8. Please note that after the cloning operation, if the Target and Source
HDDs are simultaneously connected to a PC, only one HDD will be visible
and mounted to the computer. To make all HDDs visible, right-click on My
Computer, select Manage and select Disk Management (PC) on the left.
Right-click on the disks that say “Ofine.” Select Online. This process, if
implemented to all disks, will make each HDD visible on the computer.
IMPORTANT: Please understand the cloning (duplication) process may not
work if the integrity of the Source and Target drive(s) are questionable or
deemed potentially inoperable.

Offline Compare mode
How to perform the Ofine Compare Process
NOTE: For Ofine Compare Mode, the source drive must be placed in
Bay 6. Also, make sure Bay 1 is Empty.
1. Insert the Source HDD into Bay 6, followed by the placement of Target
HDDs into Bay 2, 3, 4, 5.
2. Turn On the Power to the Dubbler Dock Pro+.
3. Once the HDD Bay LED indicators illuminate, the Dubbler Dock Pro+ is
ready to perform the compare operation.
4. Press and Hold the Clone button for 6-seconds until the indicator LED
light is blinking orange. Press the button once more for compare
conrmation while all LED lights are still blinking orange.
5. Ofine compare operation is now initiated and is underway. The 25%
LED light will begin blinking to represent the start of the compare process.
The 50%,75% and 100% LED indicator lights will commence to ash in
sequence pursuant to the progression of the compare process.
6. Once the compare process is nished, all progress LED indicator lights
will illuminate orange.
If there is a compare error, the R/W LED will illuminate Red to indicate
which HDD has failed.

CloneDrive Software Installation
1. Please download the latest version of “CloneDrive” software from the
Support/Download page on our ofcial website.
2. Please use the “WinRAR” to uncompress the download le and run the
“CloneDrivePlus_Setup.exe” to install the CloneDrivePlus. You can acquire
the WinRar software from the ofcial download website at http://www.
rarlab.com/download.htm
3. Please follow the instructions to complete software installation.
4. After the CloneDrive software is installed, you will nd the icon in the
lower-right corner of the Window OS task bar. Double-click the icon to
launch the software.
5. For rst time installation, please enter the S/N# when prompted. (You will
nd the S/N# on the license sticker.) Activation requires Internet connection.

6. Securely place the Source HDD into Bay 1, followed by the placement
of the Target HDDs into Bay 2 – 6. Connect the Dubbler Dock Pro+ to the
computer via USB cable. Turn On the power to the Dubbler Dock Pro+.
7. The CloneDrive will show the HDD information of each bay.

8. Choose Clone the External Disk, which makes the HDD in Bay 1 the
Source HDD, and the HDDs in the 2 – 6 bays as Target HDDs.

9. Choose Clone System Disk to External Disk, which makes the PC
HDD the Source HDD, and the HDDs in Bay 1 – 6 as the Target HDDs.
10. Click the Start icon located on the lower-right side of the software
program.
Important Note: With the CloneDrive software, as long as the content in
the source HDD is smaller than the target HDDs, the cloning operation will
be performed. The software will resize the partition if the target HDDs are
smaller than the source HDD. The empty space will not be copied to save
operation time.

Using the FlashCopy Software
The Flashcopy is an advanced software technology that enables users to
enjoy transfer speeds twice as fast as USB 3.0, even when using USB 2.0.
Please note the FlashCopy software is NOT compatible with MAC OS.
1. To start, please download the latest “FlashCopy” software version from
the Support/Download page on our ofcial website.
2. Please use “WinRar” to decompress the download le and run “Flash-
Copy_Setup.exe” to install the “FlashCopy”. You can acquire WinRar from
the ofcial website at http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm.
3. Follow the instructions to complete the software installation process.
4. Next, securely insert both Source HDD and Target HDDs into the
Dubbler Dock Pro+. Connect the Dubbler Dock Pro+ to PC via USB cable.
5. Turn on the power to the Dubbler Dock Pro+. You will see the Flashcopy
icon mount on the Desktop. Double-click the FlashCopy icon to launch
the program.
6. For rst time users, input the software S/N# when prompted. (You will
nd the S/N# on the license sticker.) Activation requires Internet connection.

FLASHCOPY OPERATION
7. Once the program starts, you will see data content for all mounted
HDDs. To start, click on the Target drive(s) to which data will be copied.
Select the folder(s) to be copied by clicking and dragging the
le(s)/folder(s) from the Source HDD (left) to the Target HDDs (right).
8. After completing the folder/le selection process, press the Start button
to initiate the transferring process.

The DiscErase software is an advanced software technology that provides
many security erase options for your HDDs.

Dubbler Dock Pro+. Connect the Dubbler Dock Pro+ to PC via USB cable.

the program.

8. Check boxes 1 – 6 or any single box to choose which HDDs will
be erased.

9. Choose a desired erase method by clicking on the Erase Method
button. (For information on the available erasing methods, refer to the chart
on page 20.) Click Ok.
