Before first use
1. Unpack the boot, shoe and glove dryer from the box.
2. Remove any unwanted packaging materials such as cardboard, plastics or
styrofoam.
3. Using a soft, damp cloth or sponge, wipe down the dryer and dry thoroughly.
DO NOT USE ANY ABRASIVE MATERIAL TO CLEAN ANY SURFACE
DO NOT IMMERSE THE DRYER INTO WATER AT ANY TIME

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed.
PLEASE READ AND SAVE ALL
INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE
BOOT, SHOE AND GLOVE DRYER.
KEEP AWAY FROM WATER!
1. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse power cord or plug in
water or any other liquid. This is an electrical appliance. To avoid the risk of
electrical shock, unit failure, or serious personal injury, always operate with
dry hands.
2. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is being used by or near
children. This dryer is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning the use of the dryer by a person responsible for their
safety.
3. DO NOT place “soaked” or “dripping wet” footwear or gloves on the dryer.
4. DO NOT touch dryer nozzles after use. Use caution when removing footwear
or gloves from the dryer.
5. DO NOT continue use if the dryer malfunctions (irregular noise, smell,
overheating, smoke, etc.). To interrupt or stop drying, turn timer knob to
“OFF” position and cut the power by unplugging the cord from the outlet.
6. Always ensure the voltage to be used corresponds to the voltage of the boot,
shoe and glove dryer.
7. DO NOT use while bathing or in the shower. DO NOT place or store this unit
where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
8. DO NOT use on ethylene, resin carpet, or other soft, unstable surfaces. Always
use on flat, dry surface such as a board or floor.
9. DO NOT place the dyer on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated
oven.
10. NEVER allow dryer to inhale debris or insert or drop any object into any
opening of this appliance (sand, rocks, etc.).

11. NEVER leave the dryer connected to a power outlet when not in use and
before cleaning. To avoid fire hazard, turn timer knob to the “OFF” position
and unplug the cord when dryer is done being used.
12. DO NOT cover vents.
13. DO NOT use outdoors or expose the dryer to rain, spray or liquids. For indoor,
household use only.
14. The dryer is hot when in use, do not let heated surface touch eyes or bare
skin. Use the handles or knobs.
15. DO NOT operate the dryer with a damaged power cord or plug, after the
appliance malfunctions or gets damaged in any manner. Contact customer
service for a refund, repair, or replacement.
16. DO NOT pull, twist or wrap the power cord around the dryer nozzles, even
during storage.
17. Use the dryer only for its intended use as described in this manual. The use of
accessory attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may result in
fire, electrical shock, or risk of injury.
18. DO NOT let power cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot
surfaces.
19. Turn the control knob to “OFF” before plugging the power supply cord into
the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn the control knob to “OFF”before
removing the plug from the wall outlet.
20. NEVER use while sleeping.

Safety instructions
WARNING: Read and understand all instructions. Failure to follow all instructions
listed below may result in electric shock, fire or serious personal injury. The
warnings, cautions, and instructions discussed in this instruction manual cannot
cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur. It must be understood
by the operator that common sense and caution are a factor which cannot be
built into this product, but must be supplied by the operator.
CAUTION: A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of personal
injury resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
Extension cords are available from local hardware stores and may be used if care
is exercised in their use. If an extension cord is required, special care and caution
is necessary. Also, the cord must be: (1) marked with an electrical rating of 125V,
and at least 13 A., 1625 W., and (2) the cord must be arranged so that it will not
drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or
tripped over accidentally.
Polarized plug
NOTE:
The boot, shoe and glove dryer has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than
the other).
As a safety feature to reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended
to fit in a polarized outlet only one way.
If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug.
If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to
defeat this safety feature.
Electric power
If electric circuit is overloaded with other appliances, the boot, shoe and glove
dryer may not operate properly. The dryer should be operated on a separate
electrical circuit from other operating appliances.

Safety warning
Although your boot, shoe and glove dryer is easy to operate, for your safety, the
warnings below must be followed:
1. Do not place the dryer near a heat source.
2. KEEP AWAY FROM WATER! Do not place or store the appliance where it can
fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
3. Never leave the dryer unattended while connected to the electrical outlet.
4. Use the dryer on a stable work surface away from water.
5. Do not unplug from the wall outlet by pulling on the supply cord.
6. The boot, shoe and glove dryer must be unplugged:
A. After each use.
B. If it appears to be faulty.
C. Before cleaning or maintenance.

How to use
1. Place dryer on a solid, flat surface such as board or floor.
2. Push and hold the open/close button to open the brackets then release the
button.
3. If necessary, raise the dryer brackets to accommodate a longer boot, shoe or
glove by pressing the dryer bracket button on one or both brackets and pull
up to extend and lock into place.
4. Plug the dryer into a power outlet.
5. According to footwear or glove type and dampness, set dryer time. Turn timer
knob clockwise to desired time. Unit will begin drying.
6. When finished drying, or if footwear or gloves are dry before the timer is up,
turn knob to “OFF” position, remove plug from outlet, and remove boots,
shoes, or gloves from dryer.
7. Never leave the dryer on and unattended.
WARNING: The dryer will get hot within a few seconds and should not be placed
in contact with the skin or any other part of the body.

Cleaning and maintenance
CAUTION:
Always be sure that the boot, shoe and glove dryer is unplugged and completely
cooled before cleaning or attempting to store the item. NEVER IMMERSE dryer in
water or any other liquid.
It is important to clean your dryer thoroughly after each use to prevent lint and
dirt build ups that are difficult to clean later.
1. When performing any cleaning or maintenance to this unit, be sure to unplug
from power outlet first.
2. Use a vacuum brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner to clean the heater
grills. This will remove lint and dirt from the inside of the heater. DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO TAKE HEATER APART.
3. Clean the body of the heater with a soft cloth.
4. DO NOT use gasoline, benzine, thinner, harsh cleaners, etc. as they will
damage the heater. NEVER USE ALCOHOL OR SOLVENTS.

SEGURIDAD
Al usar aparatos electrodomésticos, se deben tener en cuenta precauciones de seguridad
básicas.
LEA TODAS LAS INSTRUCCIONES ANTES
DE USAR EL SECADOR DE BOTAS,
ZAPATOS Y GUANTES.
¡MANTENER LEJOS DEL AGUA!
1. Para protegerse contra una descarga eléctrica, no sumerja el cable de
alimentación o los enchufes en agua u otro líquido. Este es un
electrodoméstico. Para evitar el riesgo de descarga eléctrica, fallas de la
unidad o lesiones graves, siempre debe usarlo con las manos secas.
2. Es necesaria una atenta supervisión cuando el aparato es usado por niños o
cerca de estos. Este secador no está destinado para ser utilizado por personas
(incluidos niños) con disminución en sus capacidades físicas, sensoriales o
mentales; o con falta de experiencia y conocimiento, a menos de que hayan
recibido supervisión o instrucciones relativas al uso del aparato por una
persona responsable de su seguridad.
3. NO coloque calzado o guantes “empapados” o “mojados” en el secador.
4. NO toque las boquillas del secador después de su uso. Tenga cuidado cuando
quita calzado o guantes del secador.
5. NO use el secador de manera continua si se avería (ruido anormal, olor,
calentamiento excesivo, humo, etc.). Para interrumpir o parar el secado, gire
la perilla del temporizador a la posición “OFF” y corte la alimentación
desconectando el cable del tomacorriente.
6. Siempre verifique que el voltaje que se usa corresponda al voltaje del secador
de botas, zapatos y guantes.
7. NO lo use mientras se baña o en la ducha. NO guarde ni coloque la unidad
donde pueda caerse o ser empujado a una bañera o lavabo.
8. NO usar sobre superficies de etileno, alfombra de resina u otras superficies
suaves e inestables. Use siempre sobre una superficie plana y seca como una
tabla o un piso.

9. NO coloque el secador sobre o cerca de un quemador de gas o eléctrico
caliente o en un horno caliente.
10. NUNCA deje que el secador aspire desechos ni inserte o deje caer objetos en
las aberturas del aparato (arena, rocas, etc.).
11. NUNCA deje el secador conectado a un tomacorriente cuando no lo use y
antes de limpiarlo. Para evitar el riesgo de incendio, gire la perilla del
temporizador a la posición “OFF” y desconecte el cable cuando termine de
usar el secador.
12. NO cubra las ventilaciones.
13. NO use el secador en exteriores ni lo exponga a la lluvia, aerosoles o líquidos.
Solo apto para uso doméstico en interiores.
14. El secador se calienta cuando se lo usa; la superficie caliente no debe entrar
en contacto con los ojos o la piel desnuda. Use las asas o las perillas.
15. NO opere el secador con un cable o enchufe dañado, después de una avería o
si se ha dañado de cualquier manera. Comuníquese con el servicio al cliente
para obtener un repuesto, reembolso o reemplazo.
16. No tire, jale, retuerza o enrosque el cable de alimentación alrededor de las
boquillas del secador, incluso al guardarlo.
17. Use el secador solo para los fines descritos en este manual. El uso de
accesorios no recomendados por el fabricante del aparato puede ocasionar
incendios, descargas eléctricas o riesgo de lesiones.
18. NO permita que el cable de alimentación cuelgue del borde de la mesa o
mostrador, ni toque superficies calientes.

ADVERTENCIA: Lea y comprenda todas las instrucciones. Si no se cumplen todas
las instrucciones indicadas a continuación se pueden producir descargas
eléctricas, incendios o lesiones graves. Las advertencias, precauciones e
instrucciones que se detallan en este manual de instrucciones no cubren todas las
condiciones y situaciones posibles que podrían suceder. El operador debe
entender que el sentido común y la precaución son factores que no se pueden
incluir en el producto, sino que los debe aportar el operador mismo.
PRECAUCIÓN: Se proporciona un cable eléctrico corto para reducir el riesgo de
lesiones personales resultantes de enredarse o tropezar con un cable más largo.
Hay disponibles cables de extensión en las tiendas locales de hardware y estos se
pueden utilizar si se tiene cuidado en su uso. Si se requiere usar un cable de
extensión, es necesario tener especial cuidado y precaución. Además el cable
debe: (1) estar marcado con una clasificación eléctrica de 125 V y al menos 13 A,
1625 W y (2) el cable debe colocarse de manera que no cuelgue de un mostrador
o mesa en donde los niños pudieran jalarlo o tropezar con él accidentalmente.
Enchufe polarizado
NOTA:
El secador de botas, zapatos y guantes posee un enchufe polarizado (una
clavija es más ancha que la otra).
Como medida de seguridad para reducir el riesgo de descarga eléctrica, este
enchufe está diseñado para entrar en un tomacorriente polarizado en un solo
sentido.
Si el enchufe no entra completamente en el tomacorriente, gire el enchufe.
Si el enchufe aún no encaja, comuníquese con un electricista calificado. No
intente eliminar esta característica de seguridad.
Alimentación eléctrica
Si un circuito eléctrico está sobrecargado con otros electrodomésticos, es posible
que el secador de botas, zapatos y guantes no funcione correctamente. El secador
de botas, zapatos y guantes se debe usar en un circuito eléctrico separado de
otros electrodomésticos en funcionamiento.

seguridad, debe respetar las siguientes advertencias:
1. No coloque el secador cerca de una fuente de calor.

caerse o ser empujado a una bañera o lavabo.
3. No deje el secador desatendido mientras está conectado a la red eléctrica.
4. Utilice el secador en una superficie de trabajo estable lejos del agua.
5. No lo desconecte del tomacorriente tirando del cable de alimentación.
6. El secador de botas, zapatos y guantes debe desenchufarse:
A. Después de usarlo.
B. Si parece estar defectuoso.
C. Antes de cualquier operación de limpieza o mantenimiento.

Uso
1. Coloque el secador sobre una superficie plana, sólida y seca como una tabla o
un piso.
2. Mantenga presionado el botón de abrir/cerrar para abrir los soportes y luego
suelte el botón.
3. De ser necesario, eleve los soportes del secador para colocar botas, zapatos o
guantes más largos presionando el botón del soporte del secador en uno o
ambos soportes y jálelos para extenderlos y bloquearlos.
4. Conecte el secador a un tomacorriente.
5. Ajuste el temporizador del secador según el tipo de calzado o guantes y su
humedad. Gire la perilla del temporizador en sentido horario hasta el tiempo
deseado. La unidad comenzará a secar.
6. Cuando termine de secar, o si el calzado o los guantes se secan antes de que
se acabe el tiempo, gire la perilla a la posición “OFF”, saque el enchufe del
tomacorriente y quite las botas, zapatos o guantes del secador.
7. Nunca deje el secador encendido sin supervisión.
ADVERTENCIA: El secador se calentará en pocos segundos y no se deberá poner
en contacto con la piel u otras partes del cuerpo.

PRECAUCIÓN:
Siempre verifique que el secador de botas, zapatos y guantes esté desenchufado y
frío antes de limpiarlo o de intentar almacenarlo. NUNCA SUMERJA el secador en
agua o cualquier otro líquido.
Es importante limpiar su secador a fondo después de cada uso para evitar
acumulaciones de pelusa y suciedad que son difíciles de limpiar después.
1. Asegúrese de desconectar la unidad del tomacorriente antes de limpiarla o
darle mantenimiento.
2. Limpie la rejilla del caloventor con el accesorio de cepillo de su aspiradora.
Esto eliminará la pelusa y la suciedad del interior del caloventor. NO INTENTE
DESARMAR EL CALOVENTOR.
3. Limpie el cuerpo del caloventor con un paño suave.
4. NO use gasolina, bencina, disolvente, limpiadores agresivos, etc., ya que
dañarán el caloventor. NUNCA USE ALCOHOL O SOLVENTES.
