ASSEMBLING THE PRODUCT
1.Slide the two stabilisers into the slots at both ends of ladder, aligning holes as you do so.
2. Insert bolts, place washers then fi x and securely tighten nuts (see diagram 2).
3.Ensure correct positioning of the platforms: Position the platforms so that the end of each platform
overlaps an end runner on the end of each side. Then the two steel platforms will meet directly above
a rung, ensuring stability.
4. IMPORTANT: Make sure that two platforms are securely fastened together (see diagram 5)
Please Note: If the ends meet between two rungs, you have positioned incorrectly.
OPERATION AND SAFE USAGE
• There is a release latch on each hinge clearly marked either L or O. i.e.
locked/unlock, on/off (see diagram 3).
• Release locks on an opposite pair on hinges and move the section(s) to
create the required position (see diagram 4).
• Check that locks have fully engaged when all 4 sections are in the required
positions.
• Whatever position is selected, ALWAYS ensure that base of ladder is on
fi rm ground and secure.
• When used as a scaffold (position 5, 6, 7, 8 & 9) the two steel platforms
must be fi xed in place (only one platform section required for position 5 & 6).
• When using the two steel platforms together, join the “keyhole” fi xings
(see diagram 5).
• The platform(s) must then be positioned between the stiles and the end
tabs aligned pointing down between rungs (see diagram 6).
Please Note: Do not stand on the ladder as a platform without using the steel platforms supplied.
Ensure these are face down
between the rungs
