IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using ladders, basic precautions should always be followed, which include the following:
1. Read all the instructions and keep for reference.
 2. Inspectallpartspriortouseensuringallthescrewsarexedsecurely.
3. Floors should be clean, not slippery.
4. Do not overreach, move the ladder to a more suitable position.
 5. Donotexceedthemaximumweightloadlimit:225pounds.
6. Never work sideways.
 7. Wearatrmsoledshoes.Neverworkinhighheels,barefeetorslippers.
8. Check that there are no overhead hazards near where you are going to work.
9. Never have more than one person on the stepladder at any one time.
10. Always have both your feet on a step.
11. Always take care when mounting and dismounting. Always mount and dismount
facing towards the ladder.
12. Close supervision is necessary when used by or near children.
13. Do not put loose tools where they could move or fall and cause an injury.
14. Ifyoudondanystructuraldamagedonotattempttorepairityourself.
15. Do not use the Genius®Safety Ladder for anything other than its intended use.
16. This Genius®Safety Ladder is for HOUSEHOLD USE only.

• Disposeofthepackagingaccordingtothelocalrecyclingregulations.
• Disposeofpaperandcardboardpackagingseparatelyfromplasticbagsintothe
corresponding containers
• Disposeoftheproductattheendofitslifespanatyourlocalauthorisedhousehold
waste recycling centre

ASSEMBLING THE PRODUCT
• Slideontophandrailuntilitclipsintoplace.
• Thereare2holesatthetopandbottomofthesidehandrails.
• Placethehandrailovertheoutsideoftheladdermainframeandtophandrail,
ensuring all the holes are aligned. (Fig. 2)
• Inserttheboltthroughtheholeinthehandrailandtightenwithascrewdriverthrough
the ladder main frame.
• Thenaddwasherandthenthelocknut,thentighten(seediagrambelow).
• Tosecurebothhandrails,repeatthesameactionforall4holes( , , , )
• Nowtheladderisassembled.
BEFORE USE
• Ensurealltheboltsandlocknutsaretight.
• Checkthehandrailissecurelyxedtothemainframe,andif
slightly loose retighten all bolts and nuts before use.
• Anymissingnon-slipfeetmustbereplacedbeforeuse.
• Makesurethatthestepsareallcleananddry.
•Thegroundshouldberm,atandlevel.
• Remembertotakeitslowandsteadywhengoingupand
down the ladder using hand rail.
To fold down, push down on the black lever
to release the safety locking clip, before folding

complimentedbyoversizedW38xD26cmnon-sliprubbertrimstepsandanextrahighfront
safety rail which reaches 62 cm above the top step for holding or leaning. The 2 step ladder has a
maximumstandingheightof50cmfromtheoor.
